I was pleased with the door, replacing an aged wood door with metal. The only issue I had with installation was the door had to be re-framed because of the fit due to age.

This was a great replacement for our broken back door. An experienced installer was big part of the success in this job.

Had to replace a door that was only 18 years old due to heat warpage and it was improperly installed to begin with. This door will be much harder to warp and although I'll miss full view, heat/cool loss will be less with smaller window.

A couple of rub spots on the door, but covered by paint.

Good door so far. No complaints. What made it even better was using the quick hang brackets that you carry. No need for shims and door goes up super fast.

Install was easy and door is good quality. Would purchase again.

The doors are adequate since they’re on the sides of the house. A little disappointed that the doors hade 2 or 3 subtle dents that we couldn’t see until the doors were hung and painted.

Installation seemed to go without a hitch but unfortunately when I tried to install the lockset both the door and deadbolt area on the doorjamb were out of alignment with the same area on the door slab. Unfortunately I did not realize this until I installed the door. Checked that the door was square, level and plumb which it was. Relatively easy fix but it would had been better it if aligned in the first place. Good looking door.

Weak connections with staples at the corners of the door came apart in the process of hanging the door and made hanging the door substantially more difficult than necessary. The primer on one side of the frame was degraded from what appeared to be prolonged exposure to the sun or some external condition, but the wood underneath was free of rot.\r\n\r\nThe door has one hinge without a removable pin so the hinges cannot be adjusted as easily as older door models with removable pins. \r\n\r\nManufacturer recommendations for door installation were not provided with the door. Code defers to these so they are needed. Instructions for this model of door were not easily accessible on the internet. \r\n\r\nAfter hanging the door, it works acceptably well. Keeps noise out. Works better with an additional external weather seal

Well put together. This rating is based on the price and product description. Product matches website description and for the price is quite good. No flaws in construction etc. This door is being used on side of house and I would not use this for front door facing street but would consider other Steve’s and sons products at a higher price point for a front door based on this item

Nice door, frame & weather strip. We purchased to put in dog door, resting door on saw horse put small dent in very thin metal, was surprised white foam insulation inside didn't fill 100% of cavity. Great value for the money.
