I really like the looks of this piece of furniture. It stores all of the games my family likes to play right in the family room. I call it Grandma's magic game chest. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. It is a little rustic looking which adds to its charm. Not as well made as I had hoped but it works for me!

Although there's an area on the top of the trunk where two wood panels are slightly uneven, the overall quality is very good. Good price and excellent delivery. The trunk arrived fully assembled in protective packaging.

The coffee table came fully assembled. There was no need to put anything together. I was surprised at the amount of trunk space inside. It's perfect for my living room, and I'm sure it'll be perfect in yours!

Purchased as a storage solution for my living room, bought 2 and put them behind the sofa, like a sofa table. I store throws and picture albums in them. They are beautiful and well made.

It's beautiful! And it has a LOT of storage space. At least for what I needed. I love how antique it looks and the fresh wood smell. Everyone who sees it thinks it's amazing, I love it.

Very nice and as described. Looks like the picture is sturd. I forgot the weight capacity but it said don't sit in it. So it is not the cedar chest I've moved around for 48 years

I love this trunk. I love the design and construction. Very well made, study and durable. My dog recently passed and I am using this trunk to store all of her things.

I use this for game storage and it is great for that use. As an aside, my four year old granddaughter thinks it's a pirate's chest and she likes it too.

Seems to be as pictured but I was disappointed in the lack of attention to detail. The top is not level but looks like part of the design. I wish I could have seen it in person before buying. Attractive and sturdy but quality could be better

I was reluctant to order this cabinet based on what I could see and not see online. I ordered this in red color. While I was hoping for a muted and not bright red, this red was more a tint of burgundy. And I do like it! Construction could be better but for the price & fact it will not be getting any rough handling, it's ok. I'm used to furniture built by my dad in his shop and finished to perfection. Since he passed away about a month ago at the age of 95, I'll have to get used to purchasing this type of craftsmanship or spending more for the odd pieces of accent furniture. For this item, I'm enjoying it's presence in my den. It was easy to assemble and is a focal point when entering the room. This was a good buy!

Great trunk. We are using it as a toy box in our living room and it blends in well without being obviously a toy box. The trunk also has the added benefit of increasing the seating in our living room. Additional notes, it has metal handles on the ends for moving it around, and it has three horizontal ridges that stick out and circle the trunk which provide some extra fall hazards for our kid.

This ended up being the Kettleby - Storage Trunk - Brown for our family room, and after about a month it has felt like a room that feels more finished. What stood out most was organized feel, which made it easier for our household to settle into a comfortable routine. It feels supportive and looks clean. It has fit in naturally with the rest of the room.

The style of this storage trunk is exactly what I was looking for. You can tell the materials are good quality, and the construction feels durable. If you're on the fence, I say go for it. I'm very happy with this purchase.
