I purchased 2 of these recliners; one in brown the other in gray. I chose this recliner for two reasons: size was smaller and there was NO rocking, gliding or swiveling which I have no need for any of that. It took a little longer to chairs to be delivered than told by salesman in store, but once scheduled, delivery was quick and on time. All my previous chairs have been leather, so I did hesitate to purchase these as they are made with Polyester/polyurethane upholstery and I worried about my dogs, especially the one that climbs up in the chair with me. I love how these chairs recline and they are zero wall design. The chairs are not as soft as the one in the store, but I'm hoping it only needs to be broke in. For the money, I am happy with our new chairs. Truthfully, I do not expect them to last years and years, but I also did not pay a ton for this furniture.

It's ok. One part in upper top of chair pushes you forward. Wish they had one on floor too sitting in. But sales guy said there was nothing there too compared too. But when called too tell them I was going too come try one out before ordering one. Because reception lady that answered phone said we have couple chairs that compared too what I liked. So we ordered with out being able too trh this chair???? It's ok for know. But doesn't have the whow comfort. Also we drove to store too try out this. And would never recommend this older sales guy. He had bad sales help.

Would give this a 5 star, but the positions are a bit far apart, either pretty much sitting up or very reclined. The chair is comfortable and very nice looking in our den. Wish we had two and hadn't recently bought a sofa, a chair and ottoman a few mounts before. As a bonus it is a rocker, I didn't know that when purchased. This was a purchase during the pandemic and this is one item that is actually as nice when you get it as it looked online. And the delivery guys were professional and nice. They set the recliner just where I wanted it. Nice experience all around.

I needed a smaller sized recliner for my bedroom. I have a shoulder injury that was not healing because I kept sleeping on it. This chair gave me the ability to watch TV and nap in an upright position. I first bought one from another company that was terrible and too small. This one was bigger and much more cushioned. It is also a wall hugger so it only needs a few inches when fully reclined so it won't hit the wall! Easy to put together just snap in the back and zip on the arm cushions! I was actually laughing because the design and cost were so perfect. I love my chair and Ashley people were so great to work with. Delivery drivers were super cool!

The chair is nice, the only problem is that you can't sit in recline because it leaves you back too far. Sometimes a person just wants to sit and recline but this chair doesn't. And when you Put the foot rest down it makes a loud noise.\nI wasn't happy how it was delivered it wasn't in plastic or a box it was just flopping around the back of a truck and so when we took it in the house it was raining and it got a little wet wasn't too happy about the delivery.

I love it! It's not real leather but it's super comfy & for the price the manual handle works well goes back smoothly. I love too that it feels like it almost feels like it reclines into a sleeping position. Only thing is my #40 dog sits on the bottom when it's reclined & feels like it can tip forward so it might be top heavy or maybe all recliners do that. Otherwise, awesome price & comfy

So far, after only a few months, I find the McGann Recliner a fantastic value for your money. It is very comfortable and reclines almost all the way back. I like that it is also a rocker. The "leather like" fabric is nice and seems to be both durable and easy to clean up but that is yet to be seen. I think that his recliner is a great value especially since I purchased it on sale. At full price, this is still a nice recliner. I didn't personally shop around in stores but trusted the reviews and this recliner pretty much lives up to the majority of the reviews.

Great little recliner that functions and looks as expected. Comfort level is good, the color and overall aesthetic matches the product photos. Extremely simple to assemble. The "fabric" or material used does feel quite cheap. Almost feels like paper.... but at this price point you can't expect luxury. Overall, happy with my purchase and hope it holds up over time.

A bit smaller and a little less comfortable than what I remembered after trying out the model in the store. I'm 5'4" and my feet hang over the edge of the footrest in an upright sitting position. Easily fixed by sliding back a bit. Slides and reclines very easily with the manual lever. The faux leather material is very nice. Best is the great lumbar support!

Very easy to assemble. Very comfortable. I bought for my mom who has some health problems. It's difficult for her to get it into the reclining position and then close it. You need to have some strength to do it. I would have preferred electric, but this was a just. The price makes this purchase a great value for the money.

Problem solved.The only thing I would change is : It's not easy to UNrecline.. Getting from reclined to upright is a struggle especially if you are elderly.

The quality and comfort is good. This is a very large recliner. It turned out it was too large for my space, so I only kept one of the 2 recliners I bought to go with the matching couch. If you are a large person this would be a good choice. I would have preferred a slightly smaller recliner.

Bought in January and have used everyday. I'm retired and she is disabled. These 2 recliners replaced 2 that were killing us as we use them for many hours everyday. After 8 months they are still wonderful. Great for comfort for long periods at a time. Great for fabric and structure quality. I am a tough shopper and way better than most. So you can take my word for it. If you are on a budget or unless you want something really fancy you can't find a better recliner for the price.

OK, these are not what I would call "luxury" recliners, but very nice and well worth the money. Bought two his and her chairs for the sitting area in our bedroom and couldn't be more pleased. They look great and make the space look cozy. The seat cushions are quite firm, hope this softens up over time. I would definitely recommend these, especially for our purpose. If you want a comfy, plush living room recliner I'd shop around, but be prepared to pay double what these cost

I received my Bladen recliner last week. It goes perfectly with our leather sofa and matching recliner. We got the coffee color. Easy to assemble (back slides into base) so don't pay for someone to assemble. It is big enough for all but the largest of people. Recliner mechanism works well.I hadn't bought from Ashley before and this was bought online. They had excellent communication with me as to delivery. Could not have asked for a better experience all around.

Very comfy chair, operates smoothly, looks like leather from across the room but is soft to the touch, not cold like leather. Ours makes a 'spring' noise every now and then when my husband sits in it, but he is big guy (lik 300 lbs). Very happy with this purchase.

This recliner looks fabulous and is moderately comfortable. Unfortunately, it's much smaller than our previous recliner - both in width and length (when reclined). I am a smidge over 5'6 and weigh 130 lbs and fit in it okay, but reclined my feet hang over. When not reclined, I feel a bit like Goldilocks in baby bears chair. My husband doesn't fit comfortably in it at all (he's 6', 200 lbs).\n\nThat said, I would recommend if you are more on the petite side and looking for a recliner that would fit in smaller spaces.

I waited a month to review this chair to make sure I was satisfied. This chair is very comfortable and has extra padding in the arms and lumbar areas. I am 6" 2" and weigh 230 lbs. It is great and has ample room. I sat in 20 recliners of various makers, and this was my 2nd choice. I came back home and compared warranties and reviews. I am so happy with the decision I made. I absolutely love this chair. It is puffy and comfy, I feel like it's giving me a hug every time I sit in it. It was delivered 5 days earlier than I expected. I was notified of the change and texts when the deliver guys were close. They were really nice and professional. We assemble the chair ourselves which only took about 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this chair and Ashley Furniture based on this experience.

I purchased this rocker/ recliner for mom for her 80th birthday. The assembly is super easy. You just snap the top (back) to the bottom. It is apparently the exact chair my mom had sat in at someone's house. She loved it then and she loves it now after using it for a week. A note on Ashley, they were very communicative via emails and phone calls from the moment I purchased it on line through delivery and even post delivery.

I love this chair! Very comfortable and the rocking feature is just perfect! it reclines back more than i thought which makes me super happy. I love the color as well and paired it with a nice little table and lamp. The assembly was seamless for the delivery guys, just 2 parts and it took them about 8 seconds t put together. This is exactly what we needed for my elderly mother. It doesn't rock or swivel, thus providing the stability needed for her to get in and out of it. The recliner operation is smooth and easy to operate for someone without much arm or leg strength. Plus, it's plush and compact, not taking up much space in her living room, while providing firm support.Only downside was it took 90 days to get it into the warehouse.

The chairs arrived in perfect shape, the men delivering the chairs were very professional and ahead of time. The color and feel of the chairs has fooled several of our friends who thought they were leather. Have only had them a short time but they are easy up and back with lots of comfort. I am very satisfied with our purchase so far and have told our friends and family members about the great deal at Ashley's.

This is not a recliner to be used for lengthy periods because it is simply not comfortable. \nIt puts a lot of uncomfortable pressure on my back, neck, and head.\nIt is not what you want if you are looking for something to relax in during the evening or to fall asleep in while watching the television at night.\nI will probably end up giving this away to a family member if I can find one who likes it more than I do.

I've bought countless rocker recliners. I even have had wooden ones break within 6 months. I'm rough on them for sure. This one has lasted 3.5 years longer than any other since 1983. I'm never going to buy anything but this particular one again. The only thing that's worn out is the leather. Excellent quality and strength.
