It removes the need for springs, which is what I wanted. Instructions and hardware were irrelevant to my needs. I only needed something to put the 10" memory foam mattress on. I drilled holes and used cable ties to hold it in place, which was easy to do. I put cardboard on top of the somewhat rough slats, and it works just fine.

This is a great bed. Looks so wonderful with the metal hardware on the edges. Be aware however, these are not wood panels... it's like a solid piece of wood with the panels and grain printed on it... that was surprising. I would buy it again, though! It looks so great.

The bed is a perfect addition to each of my children's rooms. We love the extra storage space. The one downside that we've found, is that you must pull the drawer out from the middle and with caution. If you do not, it becomes crooked and smacks into the legs.

Saves space because the head and foot boards aren't too bulky. We set it up in our teen's bedroom and he likes the look because it matches multiple comforters. It is pretty lightweight though, so I'd put a good base for it and I wouldn't use it for 2 people.

This works great for a metal frame, only some of the slats were just a quarter of an inch too long so they had to sit a little sideways in the frame. But still they worked and for the price you can't beat it.

The slats were even and strung together just fine. The wood is kinda junky plywood. Most slats were fine, but some were de-laminating on the ends. Not a deal killer, but not very high quality.

Looks great. Easy to assemble and mount. Only drawback is headboard touches wall on one side of the bed and is an inch or two off on the other, so some sort of weird angling issues.

We had to purchase additional pieces of wood cut to support the mattress. The three small metal support bars were not enough to support the mattress. \n\nThe bed looks great.

I bought two of these twin beds and they are working out great! My two boys share a room and they fit perfect! They are the perfect size! I love the rustic look and they are very sturdy. The only thing I would suggest is putting a bumper on the sharp corners. I have hit my leg on it a couple times but the bumpers solved the problem. This was a great buy and I am very pleased with the quality. When I ordered the beds they came a few days later and they were easy to put together.

I loved the nightstands but one came broken from the back panel it means that the company that transported it was not careful

Purchased 2 of these for my boys' bedrooms, was surprised to find they were laminate and the wood paneling look is actually just completely flat like wall paper. I'm glad I only paid what we did for them. Keeping them, they do the job and look alright from a distance.

The heading describes a three drawer nightstand which is why I bought it. I failed to read under the description that if is only two drawers. Please fix the top description. The bottom two look like separate drawers but it is one large drawer.

I would love it more, however, there was damage on both sides. But it is a really nice nightstand.

I like it. It's not something that's going to last forever. It's great for teenagers and younger.

It was a little too wide. I thought twin size would be standard. Nothing a saw couldn't fix.

My rails did not come with the foots to hold the middle up but lucky we improvised.. please make sure everything is in the box next time. Aside from that everything else was great with the rails & the bed i received a week prior

I bought this for my son and he loves the look and bookshelf to store his books.

Like the headboard but it's not actually Barbour day! It's a wallpaper meant to look like barnboard! Otherwise it's great! For the price it's not bad. But if I had it to over again, I'd choose a real barnboard!

Bought this for my 10 year old son and we all love it! Its beautiful and has extra storage which is always helpful! My only suggestion would be to have a low profile box spring because we have a regular one and it is definitely too tall. We ended up leaving it because my son loved being that high off the floor, it personally you don't even really need a box spring for your mattress .

My boyfriend had the rest of the set that he bought from big lots but I wanted the nightstand. Big lots was more expensive so I found it on Walmart for cheaper delivered. Love that it was mostly assembled when it arrived, just had to put the handles on. Pretty heavy but Im no body builder or workout queen and I was able to push the box on the hardwood to where I could open it.

The straps are stapled to the wrong side (or holes are countersunk on the wrong side). Some of the staples for the straps missed the straps. Some staples don't go into the wood beyond the very tip. 4 slats are missing the holes. Some of the slats have splits 5 inches. All slats are too short. If they are over enough for the screw to go into the wooden side rail, the other end of the slat doesn't even reach the other side of the wooden side rail. The slats are listed as .75" (3/4") thick, but they are not. They are thinner, and bend very easily.\nThe second set arrived. Again, straps are on the bottom instead of the top side where they should be. The slats are all too short,

I love my new rustic headboard. It just loooks so nice in my cottage bedroom. It was delivered a few days ahead of time but it didn't have the screws so i used my old ones. In the picture it looks like it's stacked wood planks but it's one piece that's been stained. I do love it though as it adds presence to my bedroom and goes with any decor.

Good quality. Looks really nice and rustic. Edges are a bit sharp and full size mattress is really tight fitting into frame.

Has the appearance of an aged solid wood yet is just a wrap over pressboard.. little too pricey for what it actually is

I love the generous size and rustic style ! \r\n I ordered 2 pieces and use them in my living room as side table. \r\nMy only complaint is One of the tables was not built as sturdy as the other one.\r\nI had to put a piece of cardboard under one side to make sure it would not move every time someone would touch it.

Saved me from needing a side table in my small apartment! Very well made and sturdy. Looks even better in person and the cubby holes are just right for books, alarm clock, kleenex etc. I looked at other bookcase headboards and none had the style of this one. The color is a beautiful driftwood. No regrets!

The drawers a difficult to pull out and use. Doesn't seem well built.
