I actually had this game as a kid, I recently bought this for my little brother, because he had received a Nintendo Switch for Xmas, so I decided to buy this for him, because I remember having good memories of it as a kid (don't worry guys, I'm only 16, and I'm talking about when I was 7, calm down...). My brother and I both respectively thouroghly enjoyed this game, it may not be the best Mario game, but I do really think that if you want to play another Mario game, it's definitely worth checking out. The graphics are typical for 3D game for kids, but I do think that the design language has a lot of "flavor" and just feels full of life and character. I will not be showing a picture of the game, but it did come in that plastic wrap, and it was unscathed when it got to my house, and it didn't take too long, and there weren't any delays or anything, you'll just have to trust me.\nThank you for reading my review, I usually don't do this kind of stuff, but I figured I may as well since I was already back on walmart.com.

It's probably the best Mario game for the Nintendo Switch. I'd have to say there's quite a lot to do. Sadly the second player is just the hat. Instead of having a normal character. I haven't yet gotten all the stuff you have to collect. I've probably got that part half finished. It's a little difficult for beginners as the game gets harder as you progress. The story is kinda strange.\nLike why did Bowser want to marry Peach on the Moon? Also how are they able to breath without oxygen but in the ocean kingdom you can drown when you first get there. The graphics are really good.

Super Mario Odyssey is a must-have! With its imaginative worlds, versatile open-world play style, and endlessly fun mechanics (especially Cappy!), it's a joyful adventure from start to finish. Very kid friendly and the cut scenes are engaging, adding to the interesting storyline arc. The game blends nostalgia with fresh ideas perfectly, offering hours of exploration and replayability. Highly recommended!

Before purchasing I'd thought I'd take a look at what other Nintendo fans felt about the game, reviews were definitely conflicting, dispite that I went through with the purchase anyway. Hands down my favorite super Mario party game, I like the style of the game play it definitely offers a different game style contrary of the contenders, but truly that's what makes it stand out from the rest !

This game had me grinning like a kid again! Possessing everything from T-Rexes to silverware is pure joy, and hunting for Moons across gorgeous worlds never gets old. The attention to detail and tight controls are incredible, and I still catch myself humming "Jump Up, Super Star!" months later. Nintendo absolutely nailed it - a perfect 5 stars.

This particular purchase was a Christmas gift for my niece who is 20-some years younger than myself. I have also played this game as I have my own Switch. I have played Nintendo games for many years. My niece and her husband enjoyed this game, just as I did. You really cannot go wrong with a Nintendo title. This game is a must.

They did not fail with this one if you have an Nintendo switch 2 you'll be pleased to hear that Nintendo has a free update that improves the visual graphics and gaming performance where are you playing handheld mode or docked you will appreciate this free update.

I got this game as an end of Summer School gift for my son. He has loved it so much. Very fun for him to play, and fun for me to watch. He loved the mechanic for throwing Mario's hat and becoming all sorts of new characters, especially a T-rex.

First off its Mario! How can you not love it! New and updated with that classic feel! It's fantastic, I've personally been hooked on it for days! There are so many things to do in the game, so many challenges that need to be met, amazing!

Bought this for my son's 7th birthday. Needless to say best gift in his eyes. He loves this game and honestly it is pretty cool how you can turn into different things like dinosaurs, bullets, frogs.

Got this game for my 5yr old as a birthday gift. Love that it had so many games for him. Some games are more difficult for him but plenty that he can play. We spend so much time playing together!

This game is likely lots of fun for younger players, but as an adult I found it just okay. The mini games are fun, and some take bit of learning curve to figure out how to execute well. The game overall is good, but I don't feel it's a sixty dollar game. \n\nI'd only played Mario Party on the Wii U a few times. I enjoyed it quite a lot though, so I bought this game. It's fun, but there are 3 things that irk me. One is that it takes a while to get through a game. If you want to play a quicker game, you can't do anything about it. I've typically done a 2 player, 10 round game and it takes about an hour. I wish there was a way to speed up things - skip animations for example. I'd much prefer a 30 minute 2 player 10 round game. You can play more than 10 rounds but so far I have not been in a situation that's called/allowed for it. \n\nThe second thing is that if you try to play a friend online, you can't play the actual "board" game, only the mini games. This was very disappointing to discover. \n\nThe third thing is that in my experience the game seems a bit too random/based on luck. Usually the player that is closest to the star when it appears has a much better chance to get it and the player with the most stars wins. Also, at the end, the game randomly awards a star to a player. These 2 factors can be very frustrating. If these features could be adjusted or turned off, it would be great. I really would like there to be options like that, and it strikes me as kind of odd that in this day and age, they limit options like a quicker way to play or the way to make the game more fair. \n\nThere's plenty of places one can get more info on the game, I just mainly wanted to inform folks on ways that the game disappointed me, in case they care about similar aspects. Its a good, entertaining game, but it's not perfect. If I would have known what I know now, I probably would have passed on buying it when I did.

This is my favorite game of all the Mario Party. You can play separately or as teams or against the computer. Most used Wii game in our house and a bought one for my brother's family.

Fun game! My son really enjoys playing it. There are 4 maps, you can play as a team or individually. Good mix of mini games with some difficulty as well! I would recommend this game to anyone!

Perfect for my 5 year old grandson. You can hear him laughing and making sounds along with the game. I think he enjoyed playing Super Mario Party more than he enjoyed his own party.

Awesome game to play with family and friends. Nostalgic enough that it still that the original Mario Party charm but new enough that games and “story” feel fresh and updated for the switch.

I bought this for my Grandson for his Birthday and he was so surprised! He just loves Mario and when he put in the game he was so happy! He loves the graphics He loves it!!

My partner and I love the game! He was so excited for it when we received it that we played it that same night. We loved everything about it, the extra characters, the more detailed board games, the extra mini games and everything in between. The ONLY down fall we wuickly realized was.. that we couldn't use our remote controls with this game (we got some hecause the nintendo switch remotes are super tiny).. it only allows you to play the game with the tiny switch remotes.. so that was our only dislike for the game. other than that, its a great game. time flies when you play it.

My daughter loves this game. She likes it because it offers a variety of games and is very entertaining. We often play it together, but she can also enjoy it on her own.

Theres too many reasons to describe why this game is great with its exploration, open world, sandbox setting. You have to play for yourself to see what i mean.

Like any Mario game, it's an awesome one to add to your collection for all ages. I enjoyed it while i could, but my youngest son basically took it over from me.
