We were looking for a budget recliner and knew a manual cheaper one would involve some tradeoffs. Definitely check this one out in store before purchase because it is smaller than the average recliner. Incidentally, that is precisely the reason we ultimately chose it because it is smaller than other recliners. It fits better in our small living room and accommodates us fine. I'm 5'6" and 130lbs and hubby is 5'9" 155lbs. It is not a big fluffy/bulky/wide chair and some people who are taller and want their feet on the cushion will likely not prefer this one. My feet hang off right at the ankles but I don't find it uncomfortable though I also don't sit in the chair for hours on end. I also prefer a firm seat and don't like anything pillow/sinking for day to day seating. Haven't had any issues with it snapping from reclining position to upright as others mentioned so hopefully that issue has been resolved in production. All in all, this chair hits the points for firmness, size, footprint and price (we bought it on sale). Another plus--this chair is fairly lightweight and easy for us to move around. Our first Ashley purchase (along with a couch) so we will see how the materials hold up over time as we tend to keep our furniture for many years. We chose the slate and while I like gray it does seem to have a green tint to me for some reason. Husband says he doesn't get that so your miles may vary. Not a big deal as I will probably put a fitted cover over it for protection anyways (we have pets).

I am in my late 60s and am 5'11" and over 300 lbs. I don't know if I am over the weight limit for this chair or not, but it is very comfortable; so much so that this is my second one. \nThe first one I purchased 4 years ago because I wanted a manual lever, ultra firm seat and need a wall hugger. This chair has a very comfortable but very firm seat and only needs to be 3-4 inches from the wall to fully recline.\nDue to sleep apnea, I usually end up sleeping in this chair, so I am in it just about every night, in addition to when I am using it during the day. Therefore, it gets a lot of use. Over the years, the firmness slowly went away and it finally got to the point that I wanted to get a new one, which just arrived today. Other than the firmness in the seat, the rest of the chair held up well and still looks like new. I think it will make the next recipient very happy, once I find someone to give it to.\nI bought it online and actually paid less then when I bought the first one in the store 4 years ago. The delivery charge was well worth it, as the guys came here exactly when they said they would and set up the chair right where I wanted it. Outstanding delivery service with excellent communication throughout the process.\nTo sum up, this is a basic no frills, but very comfortable recliner that does not take up a lot of space. It is smart looking and should go with just about any decor.\nI highly recommend this Nerviano recliner.

This recliner was great for our bedroom. One great thing about it was we didn't have to put it more than a few inches from the wall. When it is fully reclined, the chair moves forward, so it doesn't hit the wall. It was very easy to assemble, literally about 3 minutes! I just wished it also swiveled and/or rocked. The price was also very good and had quick delivery.

This recliner is great for smaller spaces, which is what I was looking for. Having an old farmhouse with lots of doorways makes it harder to choose chairs for this corner. I will say that I probably would have chosen something a little bigger and different cushioning as I like to “sprawl' a bit more while reading a book. I like the material and color!

It is a soft and comfortable recliner. I assemble it with my family member in less than 5 minutes super easy. I am a skinny person it fits me very well but over all it will be very small for a heavy weight/tall person. It is a light weight chair so it can move a bit when closing the recliner seat on a hard wood floor. Overall I like it so far.

I bought this recliner years ago. I have significant back issues and have to sleep in a recliner every night. Therefore, I needed one that was going to be very specific to me and my comfort. I went around the store, sat in quite a few. Said No to many. Until finally, I sat in this one and immediately said Yes! This is it! That was about 5 years ago and it's still in great condition! I love it. I'm getting ready to buy a second one. It's nothing fancy with bells and whistles but if you're just looking for a comfortable recliner, I highly recommend this one.

Great recliners for the price! We weren't expecting a top notch recliner for the price but were pleasantly surprised. We went cheaper because our dogs won't stay off the furniture. They are on the smaller side and the reclining mechanism is a little tough to push in but for us it is perfect for what we needed. They look nice too. Also loved the delivery how you can track the truck. It allowed me to run home last minute from work. The delivery guys were friendly and fast. Thank you!

Bought in January and have used everyday. I'm retired and she is disabled. These 2 recliners replaced 2 that were killing us as we use them for many hours everyday. After 8 months they are still wonderful. Great for comfort for long periods at a time. Great for fabric and structure quality. I am a tough shopper and way better than most. So you can take my word for it. If you are on a budget or unless you want something really fancy you can't find a better recliner for the price.

This is exactly what we needed for my elderly mother. It doesn't rock or swivel, thus providing the stability needed for her to get in and out of it. The recliner operation is smooth and easy to operate for someone without much arm or leg strength. Plus, it's plush and compact, not taking up much space in her living room, while providing firm support.\n\nOnly downside was it took 90 days to get it into the warehouse.

The recliner looks exactly like its picture. What you can't see is the softness of the fabric which aids in the overall comfort of the chair. Would not have normally purchased a recliner with a lever instead of automatic recline when you lay back or a motorized recliner, but it was the only one they had that matched our recently purchased sofa and love seat. It is reasonably comfortable for short periods of time, however, the head rest is firm enough that when I had to sleep in it after shoulder surgery it gave me a headache. Best I can say is that it's OK.

Have down-sized into smaller home so the recliner is pairing well with other furniture. The color is a good match, like the placement of the lever to raise the foot rest as well as soft & cushy feel for knees, firm seat. Foot rest goes down easily & quietly. Smaller size than normal recliners.

Instruction should have said the "arm cushion" were inside the foot rest needs to recline chair 4 access.
