After many years wasting the better part of my day dealing with fallings leaves, raking, and packing them into industrial sized yard-waste bags, I'm very happy to have found the Worx WG524. It has taken hours (even days) off of how long it takes to deal with falling leaves; and it's reduced the number of people needed to do the work down to just me. Once I gathered the falling foliage into either one gigantic pile (or several piles - to save even more time) I simply set the WG524 to vaccuum mode, choose one of the multiple power levels, and then watch it work its magic as it grabs up gobs of leaves. At that point, you can hear the impeller as it heartily slices and dices the debris into much smaller pieces so that it's easy to fit a lot more of this yard waste into your trash barrel. That's where the 18:1 mulch ratio really shows its stuff. Yesterday I spent only about 2 hours (including raking and vaccuuming time) getting up this year's first round of falling leaves. (We live in South FL, so leaves begin falling the months prior to Spring). That work, in the past would have taken the better part of a work day ; but now I get my time back, and (unlike some other vac-blowers) this one is easy on the back. On top of that, since it has 3-in-1 functionatity, once I'm done disposing of all of the leaf waste, I simply pop off the collection bag, turn the function knob counter-clockwise to the blower setting, and blow away any remaining unsightly stuff off of my walkway. I own a Ryobi blower (it's great), but I would pit the Worx WG524 blower up against any other any day. I'd only state the only con is that this is an AC-powered unit, so you'll need to have that energy source available.

Wasnt my firat choice, was given to me as gift. I exceeded my expectations. The vac and mulcher worked great. I mulched leaves, pine needles and even smaller pine cones. Large pine cones juat bounced around inside the tube causing it to clog if leaves got caught on it. Fairly light and easy to move around. The blower was ok, nothing fancy. Easy to change functions with the swivel valve. Also easy to pull clogs out. Now i did break mine some how only after a week of use. Big chunk of plastic broke off the main tube which made it damgerous to use because i could see the impeller. Now that being said i registered the product, contacted worx through emails and with out any issues they sent me a brand new unit. Great customer service.

Ok, just like all of you reading this review ,I'll admit I was a bit sceptical about the purchase .There are lots of 5 star reviews here as well it should be, but there were far too many that say that the collector bag ,even after the very 1st use or after just a few uses has somehow torn ,ripped or just plain separated from the collector nozzle.Well I did purchase on a leap of faith because of the outstanding track record of my other Worx tools.I can say here after the 1st Fall workout with the Trivac nothing could be farther from the truth.Are these reviewers plants from other competitors,I don't know but I'm writing to tell you the Trivac is well worth the price.I've had no problem at all with the collector bag and it's attached area on the nozzle.It's very secure and it's been used now on 7 different days a total of 6 1/2 hours of use.The vacuum does a great job and is powerful enough to vacuum up even those big oak leaves no problem at all.I did buy the metal impeller model and it did a great chewing up the smaller twigs that always get mixed up in the leaves.Should you get a jam or a clog ,the unit sort of splits in half like a shotgun to immediately clear the jam.Switching between blower and vacuum functions is a breeze with the flick of a very conveniently placed lever.The blower is a very concentrated and very strong stream of air from a smaller nozzle located right below the angled vacuum nose.All in all this unit is not only a 5 star but a true Allstar in performance.Happy Fall everyone I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Before buying the Trivac, I had seen it on an infomercial but thought it would be far too low powered. My property is about 1.5 wooded acres and nearly impossible to keep clear of oak leaves.\n\nTypically, I use my 5 horsepower shredder to mulch branches and leaves but it's really too awkward to use for general leaf cleanup requiring me to use my backpack blower to heard leaves into large piles and then rake them into the shredder feeder. Back breaking work.\n\nSo I order the Trivac just to try it out and I was able to remove the leaves behind my garage but I had to empty the little pouch 3 times. The Trivac performed flawlessly but the pouch is a non-starter for a large property so I put it into the garage and went and ordered the attachment for the trash can.\n\nWith the trash can attachment the Trivac was transformed into a must-have tool. I was able to do about 1/2 the back side of the (4000 sq. ft.) house and the leaves were mulched down filling about 2/3 of the trash can. I still needed my backpack blower because the built-in blower is pretty much for small properties but the mulch setting is a huge time saver.\n\nOverall, I think the Trivac is pretty fantastic except it can get a bit heavy after a while (again not a problem for a small property). I plan to fit a pair of wheels on the bottom to maintain a fixed ground clearance and reduce fatigue.\n\nThanks for reading my review.

Heavier than I expected, but not too bad. Love the blower/mulching in 1 unit. Found it was best to blow the leaves up first, then switch to mulching if they're thick %26 wet. I did purchase the barrel attachment and it was easy enough to use. Overall for the price I'm pleased for what I needed it for. For more open, larger areas I prefer my backpack blower. I purchased this primarily for the mulching feature.

This is my second purchase of a TriVac. My first one still works great after several years of use; I wanted a 2nd one for my husband. I am pleasantly surprised at the improvements in this newer model. The suction is really good, the on/off switch is much easier, the collection bag is larger. It works great and I'm very pleased with it. The larger bag does get heavy as it fills. It holds quite a bit.

The power on this blower is great! It is a bit heavy for myself but I have really appreciated the multi speed on the blower. I have LOTS of leaves and my lighter weight blower couldn't begin to move them. 🙃 Still finding out all the ways to use the blower and vacuum. ( I added the hose for mulching also) I am very satisfied with the results I am getting!

Just opened the unit and tested the vacuum on a small pile of leaves. It worked great, but the unit, bag, and myself were covered with a thick layer of dust. I have used a leaf vacuum for years and know dust is a by-product of it working, but this was unbelievable! Is this normal?

I purchased this product primarily for the vacuum feature. I am currently transitioning towards cordless for all of my lawn equipment. I've only used it once so far, but it worked well. I have another cordless blower, so this new one will be for the vacuum feature.

I've used this now only twice. Each time the batteries cut out after about 20 minutes. I don't mind cutting my yard work time short. But it should be my decision. Guess I'll need a second set of batteries.

This is my second one of these. I like that it is a vacuum, mulcher and blower and that i don't have to have 3 different tools. only drawback is the blowing power isn't the best not the easiest to aim.

It was difficult to put together. I was not strong enough so I had to take it back to the store for help. Haven’t actually used it yet because it’s been too hot here in AZ.

It works like it's supposed to but bag gets heavy for this 79yo to carry around when gets near full, so I ordered the collection system to vacuum into big trash container.

I'm retired, a great machine. Too heavy needs a carrying strap. I tried to make one but it didn't work.. Do you think you could help with this matter.

I was looking for an efficient, powerful, portable leaf vacuum and mulcher to clear out my flower beds instead having to blow the Leafs out unto the lawn with all the mulch following the leaves! The WorkX Power Share Cordless Blower/Vac/Mulcher performs exactly what I was looking for. Powerful suction, great mulcher (even occasional twigs and mulch particles), very easy to put together, handle while operating, and detaching the bag to empty the mulched leaves. It even has 2-speed control to lessen the suction so that you will not pick up heavier objects like stones or chips. \nThe only improvements that I would suggest are 1) put the 2 power control button at the top of the handles so that it can be operated using the same hand that is on the handle, as the current location under the handle is cumbersome to reach and 2 hands are needed., and 2) buy the larger 8.0Ah 20V batteries for longer usage time. \nYou will not be disappointed in this product. 5 stars!

I also purchased the WA4054 LeafPro Collection/bagging system, which I highly recommend. In fact, I have never used the small collection bag that comes free with the WG509. It's just to small for my needs. The WG509's ability to reduce leaves/debris 18:1 is certainly time and space saver. Bought my blower/mulcher several weeks ago. I waited until the beginning of spring to clean up all the leaves on my property. New homeowner on a corner lot with more than 15 oak trees on less than quarter acre. Can you imagine the pile up? We ended up with 32 fifty gallon bags of leaves and we couldn't have done it without the Worx. This tool vacuums piles of leaves with small twigs and some small rocks. The metal impeller mulches everything down, your carrying sack ends up weighing about 10 pounds completely filled with mulch. Get the top of the line metal impeller Worx blower / mulcher. I can only imagine the trouble the plastic impeller would have with those twigs and stones. Bottom line, great tool, worked non-stop, full power for 5 hours straight, switched between blower and vacuum about 30 times! Switching is extremely easy to do, machine is efficient and durable, you can see the quality right out the box.

I purchased this about a month ago for the upcoming leaf season. Last year I purchased two other blowers solely for the mulching function as I have 15 large trees on my acre lot and my neighbors have just as many so leaves are an issue, the other blowers were decent as a vaccum but I wanted leaf mulch for my flower beds and they didn't shred the leaves at all. Finally today I gathered up enough leaves to fill a 13g trash bag and tested it out, I was thrilled to see it shredded the leaves very well the suction was great and I was left with just enough to fill a standard grocery plastic bag. I've attached pictures of the mulch because I looked at this model for months before purchase because I was unsure it would provide the mulching I desired. It did a great job and was lightweight enough that I won't get tired quickly as I work and switching to blower was so easy I decided to clear my drive of dust.

I loved that I could switch from blowing leaves right to vacuuming/mulching them with the flip of a switch, because that meant I could easily and quickly remove a pile as soon as I created it, instead of leaving piles laying about a the mercy of the changing Chicagoland weather. We have a lot of beautiful big shade trees in our yard, which is great for summer, but come autumn our yard is covered in leaves. Living in the Chicagoland area means the leaves are either wet or frozen from the moment they drop off the trees. This tool was able to move the leaves with no problem, even the ones underneath the others that didn't have the fleeting sunshine to help them dry a tiny bit. The best part is getting a great working product for a very reasonable price!

Pluses: functions as describes. The blower has power that rivals a gas blower and is much stronger than a typical battery-operated machine. The suction tube and bag work as advertized and the machine does a good job of muching debris that is picked up. The collection bag empties easily, but is positioned in a way that makes it awkward to carry when using the machine. Received this today and used it right away. Used my fully charged batteries from prior WORX gear I've bought. Great blowing and mulching; better power than my older electric blower from another manufacturer. Wanted to get away from the cord and go cordless, and when this unit is on a full charge, it's fantastic!! Way more powerful than my corded unit. But.....MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT with the batteries only lasting 8 to 12 minutes on a full charge. Frustrating to not be able to complete a job ...

Well I read the reviews, about it being a good blower, that on some the on off switch doesn't work, and that is poor as a vaccum. But because of metal blade, and because reviews of others aren't much better, and that this one will switch between suck and blow without changing pipes, I bought one. Well the reviews were correct, yes out the box the on/off switch didn't work, just jambed off! It has plenty of power to blow the leaves and to vacuum and mulch the leaves. That part is great! But I'm 6'6" and the unit is not designed for people that tall. I have to bend over for the tube to be low enough to vacuum up the leaves off the ground and the unit is heavy enough to cause my back to respond to being bent over! It would be nice if they made a snap on extension. That would make it so much better.
