Please note: if you are replacing patio door that is 15 years old make sure to check the width of your existing patio door bottom, to confirm you can place new one in that slot.\nMD was almost half inch wider than original, we had to get marble floor cut.\n\nThe joints at every corner is not smooth. \nI am wondering how long they will hold insulation between glass.\nYou can get better finish for less price from other brand.

This was a delivery/product faux pas. Delivery guy had the wrong product. The Contractor was only there that day. Correct door delivered within 2 1/2 hours costing me time for contractor. The door handle and lock does not work, damage to the upper left corner causing the door not to be square, sizable ding at eye level to the entryway. Not pleased with the quality of the door, but the delivery guy was great!

Delivery was not good. They leaned it against the glass windows of my garage door. I couldn't get into my garage for several days when I had the installer move it. The glass panels have sealant/clear caulking smeared in several places where fingers have touched that I can't wash off. The lock mechanism was broke, requested a new one from the manufacturer.\r\nI do like the security lock.

This slider door leaks. We’ve sealed everywhere imaginable around this door and it’s still leaking. It’s extremely disappointing and we are running out of things to do to fix the door. Also the locking mechanism is very poor. It’s very difficult to get it to latch and lock properly. The door was installed square and plumb. This door is going to rot my new construction floor and bedroom.

Well I’ve read the reviews prior to ordering and still ignored them. To be straight forward I thought ordering the premium wood grain faux door would with tempered glass and energy star would have been better quality. The doors were not square, and on both doors the glass panes are upside down where the etching is at the top. Overall the frame of the door was horrible quality

It doesn’t come with screws, and once you slide the panel to the end, it gets very tight, rubbing the other panel; have to give it a little extra pull. One question, please answer. There is a gap between the panels, like a tunnel, which allows bugs to get in. Is this per design or am I missing a piece? Please see pictures.

Sliding glass door is made well and will last a lifetime, but metal roller track was dented so door wheels do not roll smoothly. Already installed so we'll live with issue. Also, Screen door was crushed on one corner so cannot be adjusted and does not open and close, waiting on HD to resolve replacement.

The door is solid. Heavy, not difficult to install. However, the standing door glass has some imperfections in between the glass. After I unboxed the door , I found some small dings. I kept it because the door is heavy and it would have been very difficult to return and get a new one the same day.

Seams not flush. Wouldn’t close all the way. Covered in a thin film of silicone, on the panels and glass. Screws not flush, screw caps just fall out. What a mess… Required a lot of extra work to get this thing right. Missing silicone on corners. After all the extra work it looks good and works well.

I wanted an all white door and its more beige than white. I didnt really notice until it was installed so now I cant do anything about it. The pictures are incredibly misleading. Orherwise the door is study and more reliable than my previous door

At first blush, nice looking door. Slides easily. The contractor did a messy job installing it, but that does not effect function of door. Installed just under two years ago and now the locking mechanism no longer latches. Ever have a nightmare where the "Bad Guy" is going to get you and you run into shelter and lock the door but it doesn't lock? Yeah, that; except no bad guy, just my imagination (which is worse!).\r\n\r\nCalled H.D. to see if warranty on locking mechanism.

door size was smaller so make sure you check you size before you remove the old door. the plastic frame is not the strongest and the nailing fins are a pain to install. it's the price of what you get for your buck.

Value is good.\r\nordered 2 right handed and 1 left handed (they sent the opposite for each)\r\n1 had glue on window\r\nall 3 have issues with the locks (none work the same)\r\nSolid frame and keeps leaks out

This door is quite heavy. It was impossible to determine its net weight, since shipping weight included robust packing materials (encased in a frame of 2" x 4" lumber). Once removed, however, the door still took 2 men and a great deal of effort to move into the house. Also, the door isn't 60" x 80". It is somewhat smaller, so additional framing was required prior to installation into the rough opening. Other than that we're satisfied with the door.

The door is very heavy. Almost too heavy. That i could live with. But its not white, its off white. Frustrating as now it doesnt match the painting.

The rubber weather stopper (with small fins) under the door came crushed and makes the door sliding not going smoothly.

Great quality door! Easy slider and adjustments made it smooth operation and install. The key however is stuck in the lock. No matter what we tried the key is stuck and unable to remove. I’m sure I will have to call the company and wait weeks for a replacement lock. Which means I will have to block it from the inside so it can’t be opened.

Nice door but the weather stripping is falling off the inside door. Not happy with that.

After visiting a local Home Depot to look at replacement sliders for my 3 season room. We decided to go with the MP 72x80 composite sliding patio doors which we need 4 of them.\nI contacted my contractor to schedule my project. Told him I plan on getting them at Home Depot. I went on Home Depot’s website and put the order in for 3 right hand and 1 left hand slider. It was around 2:00 pm \nClicked on delivery.. it said they will be delivered next day by 11:00 am Which they did!\nMy contractor couldn’t believe they came that fast. Needless to say he wasn’t available for a couple weeks out so I covered all 4 with a tarp until he stated.\nThe look absolutely beautiful installed. We are very happy with our purchase buying online at Home Depot! Now we need to order 4 screens. As they didn’t come with the doors \n We plan on buying again online Home Depot and used delivery it was well worth it!\nThanks Home Depot!

Horrible quality, only 76" door height, trip hazard, cannot adjust rollers making it almost impossible to open, corner joints do not match up, very loud when opening and closing due to poor weather stripping and not being able to adjust rollers. I do not know how this company is still selling these doors to consumers. Here I thought I found a great deal trying to save some hard earned money, but now is wasted paying my contractor for labor and materials just to remove it and start the return process. Not to mention we had to try and reframe the entire rough opening from the existing door because this door is NOT the actual dimensions it states online. Buyers BEWARE and we learned our lesson, go into the store with a measuring tape to ensure what youre paying a thousand dollars for is actually the right size door! I'm 6'4" (76") and this door height being only 76.5" is absolutely unacceptable. Hopefully the return process and the crew they send out to pick this thing up can move this unit and re-package it on the pallet because now there's no way I can move a 300lb sliding door unit myself being a disabled veteran. Home Depot customer service has been great helping us so far though, so I am praying this return/refund process goes well.

They’re a solid sliding patio door but theyre not white in color. The description says white but they’re more of a beige in color. I love the built in blinds. You can see from pic that my trim is white but sliding doors not so much.

The MP Doors are some of the top tier you can purchase. Being fully composite,the jamb and threshold are rot proof. The previous doors were wood jamb with composite brick molding but the jamb rotted out like usual. Don't think that composite is cheap, it's actually a better product for this specific application. They thought it through with stainless steel rollers inside of the door and a stainless steel track that's more horseshoe shaped than U shaped. Meaning it can be replaced in time if necessary. I can't see the core of the roller but seems to be a high quality ball bearing in the bottom of the door as it glides the door like butter smooth/ very little physical effort. The door is super heavy, (probably over 100 lbs),but glides like it's 20 lbs. Highly recommend this door. Five star ?????.

This door was simple to install. We had a little trouble making sure the latch would lock, but with some tweaks to where the latch grabs, works great! Thick and sturdy.

The nailing fin was very difficult to install. We ended up breaking it. \r\nThe handle did not mount flush to the door surface due to an interference inside the door panel (part of the hole was occluded).\r\nThe keys provided did not open the lock and one was bent. (Company provided replacement parts)\r\nThere is a large hole for air to come around the door at the very bottom where the two panels meet. It looks like a part was not installed when the door was built. (Resolution still in progress)

We got our door installed today. Its beautiful & looks elegant! So far, I cant complain so i hope this will last for a decade or more!

Some poor design flaws. Door can't open all the way, hits slide mechanisms that open, close, and tilt blinds 3" before the stop making opening smaller. These will surely get broken off at some point. Lock mechanism doesn't work at all! Not assembly or build issue on this one door, these are design flaws that anyone should be able to see and make right. Looks okay and is not bad for the money (least expensive one they sell) but I would not buy it again knowing it had these problems.

I like the door overall. It seems well made and heavy. It was relatively easy to install. The big problem is after install I took off the platic cover on the glass to find silicone or something like it on the glass. I cant get it off with windex or alchol wnd its too small for razor blade. Home Depot tells me to speak to the manufacturer. Manufacture gives me cleaning advice. Im sure ill find a way but I shouldnt have to spend hours trying to get clear glass on a brand new door!
