We bought two Echo PB-580Ts to upgrade our 28 year old Redmax blower (yes, it still works!) and a Husqvarna 150BT in our mowing service. Plenty powerful for what we need, love the air cooling fan on the back! Very nice on a hot day. My husband has no issues with getting his started on the first or second pull, but I tend to get it on the 5th-6th pull. Mostly operator issues on the starting, I am on the shorter side with past shoulder injury that limits my range of motion, just about everything is a challenge for me to start and I don't hold Echo's product on that, saying it just so others are aware it may take a few extra tugs if in a similar situation.\r\n\r\nThe only thing I would change is in the straps. I would love to have a chest strap help distribute the weight a bit better. It just seems the top pulls back no matter how snug the straps are.\r\n\r\nWe usually have these opened up for decent amounts of time when we service cemeteries. It has been over 90 degrees a few times and these blowers just keep going, no issues at all.\r\n\r\nOverall very happy with the purchase and can't wait to see these preform during the fall!

I have had the opportunity to use the blower 3 times before the snow came. I am impressed with the power and ability to move large piles of leaves quickly. The unit started right up every time. I got a large amount leaves cleaned up that would normally not be done until spring. I am very happy with the unit overall it will be a nice addition to my equipment which includes a 7 year old hand help ECHO blower which runs awesome.\r\n\r\nTwo recommendations: Better instructions with clear pictures for assembly especially getting the tube and static wire situated. I wish the shoulder straps had a strap across the chest with a quick release to hold the entire harness tight. I made up my own so the shoulder straps would not keep slipping.

I bought my PB-580T about 6 weeks ago and have only recently started it for the first time. Leaf season is still a few weeks away. The unit started very easily once I realized that the throttle control lever is also the "OFF" switch!! Tried blowing some debris off the driveway and a few scattted leaves. Certainly seemed powerful enough to make light work when the leaves begin in ernest. I am loking forward to platying with my new "toy"!! The back pack is pretty light once you are wearing it and the tube control is easily accessible. Overall impression is good. Ran my blower with non-ethanol gas mixture using thr Echo fuel additive from the unit's box.

although warm weather has kept all the leaves from falling this year, I have had many opportunities to use this blower. I think that it is the most powerful blower I have ever had. It is strong enough to actually overpower the wind gusts I get up here in the Poconos. I found it interesting that Echo has been producing this model for some years with only minor differences. The warranty seems more than fair since it covers the product whether it is being used commercially or doubles if it is being used by a homeowner like me. That tells me that it is going to last. I would highly recommend this product to anyone; professional or otherwise.

Bought echo PB-580H/T. Backpack blower works great. Powerful but loud. Unfortunately, my 10 year old echo pb265L finally died and had to be replaced. Shopping in store was frustrating though. Had to find an associate to unlock cages where they are kept and then they had to walk it to the register. I’ve bought more expensive tools in this store that didn’t require so much security protocols. Then the lady at the register was so rude, I felt like walking out of the store. Otherwise backpack blower is great but experienced buying it was terrible.

Light for a back pack blower. Quiet, I forgot to put head phones on, got back to truck to fuel up, an there was my hearing protectors. No static shocks. Very comfortable. First X out Used the blower for over 8 hours. Moved 8 tarp loads 17X19 tarp. Felt good for 75 Year old. My wife says it was because your FIRST X using! newest wares off. Neighbor wife came over an borrow it. She like it. Her husband has a Huskavarna about the same size. There yard has old,Large trees front to back, She ran 2 tanks through machine.

I bought this one because after a lot of research and speaking to a landscaper, this model was a good balance of power and bang for the buck for the homeowner. My lawn gets a LOT of leaves and this had plenty of power to push them where ever I want. It's not the most powerful out there - this one does struggle to lift and blow patches of wet mud that the strongest of the models can blow, but you'll have to spend at least another $100 to get the top end. Starts up easily. This more than met my expectations.

This blower is totally awesome! One of the best lawn equipment I have ever purchased. Needs a harnessed or strap designed to hold both shoulder straps center to the chest. With harness or strap pulled together chest center, shoulder straps won't roll off your shoulders ends. The center harness will pull shoulder straps closer together. This will lift backpack higher on your back for a sturdier carry. I welcome any proceeds to me for this wonderful idea. I've design a strap for my own blower. Thank you!

This is my first Echo product & after 2 months I am very pleased with its performance & ease of use. My last 2 backpack blowers we Husqvarna products, (150bt). The first was bought around 2012 & lasted till 2021. I bought the same model in 2021 & was totally unhappy with the changes they made to the engine. It was hard to start & very sensitive to throttle adjustments. That said, I switched to Echo based on a Lawncare company owner's recommendation. Starting is easy & power is great & steady.

The first unit I picked up had a broken control clamp. Second unit was perfect. My experience with Echo has always been good and this unit does not disappoint. Like a pressure washer, there is a direct correlation between power and effectiveness with these types of tools. 517 CFM and 217 MPH seem to strike a nice balance for moving leaves and small debris. I returned a Ryobi electric 350 CFM x 100 MPH unit that would have been great for drying a car but not moving leaves over grass.

The newer back pack blower is a lot more powerful. It has a large enough tank to last for a long time before refills. And, true to form, cranking is easy. I've never had a problem with any of my Echo brand products failing to perform beautifully. I own 5. It is truly my favorite brand.

This unit is incredibly easy to start and has power to spare. It easily takes care of all the leaves I have to clean up. In the past I would use an electric blower, my riding mower and a lawn sweeper. Now, it just takes this one piece of equipment to move all my leaves for the front of the property to the woods in the rear.

I have about 600 feet of sidewalk ,a driveway, a patio that I use to blow off about every week. I also use it to disperse lawn clippings left by my zero turn mower. Was looking at getting a new backpack blower for clean up around my property and did my research. I thought of echo due to recently having bought an srm-225 trimmer. All my echo equipment starts without hassle, and this blower is light compared to any other backpack on the market! Just start it, and put it on and you can't even tell you have it on your back. Plenty of power and the vibration reduction system great on your back.

This is just the first seasin of use, but it starts every time on the first pull and it has more blowing power than my previous leafblower. So far it has been a great purchase. I especially like it has a design that directs a small stream of cool air to cool your back while working up a sweat doing the work.

I use one of these professionally for lawn maintenance. This thing has proven its self again and again. It survived a heavy lawn care season, and ran for 8 hours straight for a leaf clean after its first start up of the season. Echo is the real deal when it comes to blowers, and this things can’t be beaten for the price. It starts up every time and is ready to run a 40:1 mix out of box.

An excellent blower for homeowners. I had a hand held Echo blower before. Also gas. And it was more powerful than any electric blower I tried. And I did try a few. No matter how good they are they can't compare with gas powered equipment. This blower is as much better than the hand held one. It was easy to put together. I have used it three times and I have really enjoyed it so far.

This seems to be a very good leaf blower. It has enough power (air force) to make clean-up and various job types a snap. The build quality seems good, and I especially like how the blower shoots air onto your backside when in use on a hot day. I've only have it for a few weeks, but I expect it to last for quite some time with regular maintenance.

Nice upgrade from my echo handheld blower now that I have a larger yard. Blower is powerful and performs really well. Once you get it adjusted to fit you ergonomically in terms of trigger control placement, shoulder straps, and tube length, you're good to go! Fuel tank is nice size that allows you to clean/blow large areas.

After years of corded and then battery powered blowers I finally decided that enough was enough! This blower is so powerful that it’s fun to use. Those old blowers don’t even come close to the power that this one has. It’s not exactly light and it can use some fuel that’s for sure BUT it moves leaves like nobody’s business!

Very impressed with this machine since it is, in my opinion, like contractor grade but was priced reasonably. A forty plus year old pre echo named echo that's had a hard life that still works fine with extensive modifications now going to my nephew . A super beetle wiper tank, points , battery and coil ignition are the only main parts that had to be used to keep her running like new. I neded one with more blow power.

I've owned many backpack blowers in my time. I bought it to replace a newer poulan that was horrible. This blower starts on (3) pulls, runs good but, will need a carburator adjustment. This blower is not the most powerful, but it does pretty good. It is comfortable but, slightly heavy.
