Be certain to READ the installation instructions! Installation is particular - perfect and simple IF you FOLLOW directions specifically with precise order of steps. Installation was otherwise straightforward and easy if steps were followed in order precisely.\n\nI gave it 4 stars because of the "hardware" included. Hardware is very cheap - plastic and flimsy, not metal. Did not install it all because of that. We got a garage door opener instead.

This garage door looks good and is excellent in sound and insulation value. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the bottom seal is pretty cheap and will roll under the door leaving a gap on the ends for rodents and critters to enter your garage. I had to stuff some garden hose in the gasket to get it seal properly. They need to provide a thicker gasket for the bottom.

Have had installed in September 2022 so far they work really well ..I'm concerned when the cold cold 🥶 gets here ..how will they do.\r\n Had great Gentleman and his crew installed and where with me every step of the way and even afterwards..clopay garage door as expected.

I was going to buy the "good" rated door to save some money but ended up buying this door which is rated "better", and I'm so glad I did! If you're on a budget I recommend spending a little more and get this door. This door wasn't that much more money and it was worth it. It has a nice amount of insulation, making it feel more solid. It also has a metal skin on the inside instead of just the exposed insulation, which gives it a much cleaner look and will make it easier to clean in the future. It's not even cold outside yet but we can tell our garage is much better sealed and will be warmer this winter. This was the first time I have installed an overhead door so it took a while to do, but the instructions were very good.

I have a 15 year old house and recently have had problems with the front plastic window grilles breaking, snapping. The door itself has never been a problem and held up quite well. I emailed customer service the serial # on the gargage door and unfortunately they stated this particular model was discontinued. However they had some of the old stock remaining and sent me four grilles (2 right side and 2 left side) free of charge. They arrived within days and fit perfectly. Not often do you come across someone that goes the extra mile but this is exactly what happened with the representative at Clopay. I will definitely consider Clopay for all my future garage doors and entry door needs.

We recently ordered one of these plus a side mount motor, installation and the “Madison” window treatment. It’s from Clopay, - one of the higher-end doors in my view. This is our second order from this manufacturer. It is very nice looking door and well-built from what I can see. Be aware if you order a Clopay from Home Depot, there’s a significant lag between your order and the day it’s installed. To be expected during his Covid pandemic, I guess. The good news is that it was easy to order through the local Home Depot. We've been using the door for about a month now. There is nothing NOT to like about this garage door. We first ordered Clopays (2 of them for a 4-car garage) 10 years ago and there was never an issue. \n\nI rated the experience a “4” as there’s two issues that came up. Would have rated a 4.5, but there's no half point gradients in this review format. The door itself is very good looking. Looks substantial! When ordering, there's several levels of insulation to choose from - a plus!\n\nIf it works for you, order the side mount motor. It mounts on one side of the door, up near the top corner. I imagine it could be installed on either side. It's so quiet that one can barely hear it run. \n\nWhat is different with this package than from previous garage doors is that the light that turns on when the “open” button is pressed is not installed by the installer. They just hand it to you. That’s not a problem for me, I ‘kinda liked the idea of being able to place it myself. It has a sensor that turns the light on the minute I step into the garage. I don’t have to push any buttons to activate the light. That’s nice when my hands are full. And it’s a good light. Plenty bright, - LED. I’d say a 150 watt equivalent. What’s not to like about that. Still, seems like the installer ought to install the light as part of a premium package? \n\nThere was damage to the panels either during shipping or installation. Not sure which is the case, but the installer pointed it out and had it handled right away. The installer techs who did our installation and repair were knowledgeable and personable. \n\nThe window upgrade seems to leak light out of each of the corners (see photo). I’m not sure if these window pane inserts are sized wrong and are cut a bit too small – they are pretty loose and flimsy. Without this issue, I have no problem rating the purchase and experience a “5.”

I had a cheap very thin garage door, millimeter thick made of wood. I have a north facing garage door so didn't get the worst of direct sunlight. However, when it got cold outside it would get equally cold in the garage as it would with the heat. After installing this garage door, it made a massive difference when hot or cold outside. I purchased mine in late 2023 with veteran discount and tax at $1,683.98. I had an installer get it installed for about $360. It looks great outside and inside.

Love the door. Very well made and easy to install. I did it without instructions. I am the above average person for assembly though. It's a clean looking door inside and out. If you have magnets for car, great place to but them. The ez wind springs made piece work of that part of the install. Never had them before, will have to see how they hold up. They are not that expensive to replace if need be. (Future)

We just replaced old door for 22years with same look alike door because old door was cracking around the outside windows and we just got new vinyl siding 2 years ago so now the house is updated. The installer did a great job and he came at 9am left at 1pm and cleaned up all the mess, I would recommend the company to anybody that needs a new garage door, Thank You Very Much.

Just got our new replacement door installed this week. What a difference! We tend not to notice how tired and worn some things look when we see them age slowly over time. That was the case with our old door. The new door really freshened up the look of the house.

Our new garage doors (side by side) 7' wide are wonderful. They are very nice looking, quiet, provide a much better seal with the garage opening and the installation was professional, quick and clean.

Although the door isn't necessarily bad, I must say it is not as heavy as doors that used to be made 10-15 years ago. One example is that they use only 27 gauge steel for both the face and back. Even 10-15 years ago the standard was 24 or 25 gauge which is much sturdier and adds strength, insulation, and blocks more noise.\r\nI also questioned the rating of the installation. It seems inflated. Only one 1.25 inch of foam and two sheet metal skins gives a 12.9 r value?
