This vacuum was purchased as a backup after having the same vacuum over 12 years with great success. The original is still in use on a regular basis. It DOES use a bag (2 included), in spite of the title saying it is bagless. Wonderful for those of us who find emptying a vacuum cup an allergy episode in the making. The vacuum is lightweight but has great suction and is perfect for cleaning the interior of vehicles, RVs, baseboards, windowsills, drapes, hardwood floors, upholstered furniture, dog...

Great little canister vacuum. This vacuum sucks, literally. This is the third one we have purchased. One for my workplace, one for my wives workplace and this one for at home.

This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. Believe me, I've tried them all. I highly recommend !!

Description says 70dB. Seems much louder. Easy to carry with one hand and vacuum with the other. Thw last one lasted 10 years. Hope this one does as well.

This vacuum is made for small to medium sized homes. It will work on carpet , laminate, and hardwood. Good for stairs and furniture. Powerful suction. I will say that I would have preferred a metal hose; however, the plastic hose it came with works fine. I would also say that if you have a large home (2,000 sq. ft. or more), you will definitely need a larger vacuum device as an accompaniment, or as a stand alone device.

This is really a great little vacuum! It's powerful and light to haul around. Sometimes I accidentally suck up something like a water bottle cap, and it gets stuck. We just take it apart and run a broom handle in there and it comes loose. I love that it's a bag and I can dump it all at once instead of every time I vacuum. Less dust! I would highly recommend it!

Very quite and high performance.

This vacuum works very well for the price considering I was using a Meile and now this Sanitaire vacuum. I read that Sanitaire was produced by the Electrolux brand and so that also is a plus. The auction is strong and all dust seems to go into the canister bags and stay there very well.

This is the second one of these I bought. (Wheel came off the first one after several years of use.) This vac is lightweight, yet quite powerful. Holds a lot of dirt. Easy to move. Attachments make it useful for just about any need. Highly recommend this little red machine.

Just what we needed! Very light weight and easy install. The shop is so accommodating and I can easily order what I want.

I have four vacuums two uprights two canisters and this one beats them all love the suction. Three cars four dogs and this little dino keeps up with all the hair

Best small lightweight vacuum ever. Great suction!

It covers a very small area at a time, so you need to have patience and time to complete a larger job. I would not recommend this for a fully carpeted room. Absolutely fantastic for wood floors, though. This item is used to vacuum a wood floor with a few runners in a retail store and it does its job wonderfully. It is small and easy to handle. I have not needed to use the shoulder strap, so I cannot comment on how that works or the comfort level of using it.\nOverall, this vacuum so far has been a light, easy to use and efficient little vacuum.

I can only give it three stars because it works well on bare floors but not so well on carpet. I will get right to it's draw back; long hair gets caught on the small oval wheel in the vacuum head. This leads to a long clump of hair and dust stuck in the vacuum head. Every time you vacuum carpet you have to cut the hairs loose. Sorry with no beater bar and brush to remove the long hairs you will have to do it. I finally had enough of cutting out the hairs I had to write this to tell everyone. Unfortunately it is too late for me to return it, do not wait. Its very quiet and light weight. If I only had hardwood floors I would keep it. I hope this helps.

I've passed on a number of Sanitaire 3700's as gifts, mostly to friends in the hospitality field. The machine operates in blissful silence; just a soft woosh of suction air. It picks up dirt well. If you use the company's 'SA' bags, you can go quite a while before needing to change, and if you are careful and don't spill dirt, you probably won't need to change the after filters. I know one vacuum that's been used daily to sweep a normal sized restaurant and has never needed a repair to the motor...and that's going on four years now. No, it doesn't have a power nozzle and might appear to be wimpy on dirt but it doesn't need one to do it's job. I liked it so much that I bought one for my house. I got tired of uprights needing to be replaced every few months and belts breaking constantly. This canister is small, but quiet and efficient.

Fairly powerful, very durable, compact, well built. Surprising that this is still being built, even with a "facelift".

Not too happy with this.... the weight of the brush is very light and it just doesn't feel right vacuuming........

Had used this model before and it worked very well. This is my 3rd purchase.

I'm a senior and grew up thinking that good quality appliances had to be big old heavy steel contraptions and I turned my nose up at plastic machinery as overpriced toys. But the power of this machine has me quite impressed. It does a fabulous job. I had a layer of dust on my basement staircase that was so thick and had been there so long it had actually matted and lay there like a layer of rough skin. This vacuum sucked it up with total ease. No choking or sputtering. No dust filling the air. It worked so well I did my other stairs and baseboards. The vacuum bag was so packed when I removed it I was surprised that the vacuum had not lost suction when in use. Excellent value. Has great suction, however, overall not happy with this vacuum. Could have had what appears to be identical Eureka Mighty Mite for much less. The attachments do not stay on the back, and floor attachment does not roll as easy as the Mighty Mite. Both have the cord winding on the bottom which is annoying to me. Today the long sections kept coming apart while vacuuming.
