Just bought this a few weeks ago to help organize my garage. It looks nice, but I was surprised when the plastic hammer that came with it actually bent one of the rails. The entire unit bends easily. There were no support brackets either, so I hope this doesn’t fall forward.

This build had alot of pieces. As your putting it together it seems very flimsy the sturdiness comes when the unit is fully built. The vertical pieces would have been better as one piece instead of two it would give more structure and make it sturdier. I use it to store odds and ends not really made for overly heavy things or storage bins. More of a basement shelving system then garage.

Used for Janitorial purposes and works well and fits great in the space.

The 5-Tier Heavy Duty Storage Rack was just the right thing for getting more canned grocery's and such. The manual had a small font which was a bit of problem with my eyes but the manual has a installation video that can be read on your smart phone. Everything needed to use for setting it up was there, even had gloves and a plastic hammer that worked well. I was also happy that the uprights had holes that were less than a nickel between the other holes.

I bought a husky heavy duty metal 5 tier self a year ago and love it for its a tank. This one was my mistake I thought I was getting along the same quality and I was wrong. It wants to fall apart by its self and was difficult to put together. Not because of instructions but because it doesn’t want to go together and stay together. Moving it you better go slow and have patience this part I also failed on and tripped immediately after fully assembling it and I joke not the whole thing yard saled accross my floor coming apart in every way. It’s not stable and I don’t trust it I will be replacing it soon and just throwing it away I’m not boxing it back up and trying to return. Just don’t buy it it’s in no way made for “heavy duty”

The shelves were relatively easy to assemble, although I did get out my big heavy mallet to use instead of the dinky plastic one included in the box. They are definitely sturdy and hold plenty of weights, which is exactly what I’m storing on them - about 240 pounds of dumbbells and kettle bells.

I was concerned about the reviews that said these were cheap flimsy material. Actually they are pretty strong. I have 3 racks similar to this but with a heavier gauge metal, these however are working just fine.

Boxes appeared to have been dropped and/or retaped. several shelves in both boxes were bent.

This is a very sturdy unit. I use it in my garage. I really like that the shelves are metal, not pressed board. It did take 2 people to piece together.

Great, excellent product but I don't know why they shipped this from California when there's a Home Depot in our zip code.

Great shelf. Looks nice, and still gives me the sturdiness I need. I put it in my sons room so he’d have more room.

Strong and sturdy. Better quality than I'd expected! The instructions could be improved to save time.

This Storage Rack is a total letdown—it's so wobbly even after assembly that it feels like it'll collapse under anything heavy. The instructions are a mess, practically impossible to follow, and the shelves showed up scratched and dented, screaming cheap quality. Worst of all, missing parts are a headache, making this a complete waste of your cash and time—steer clear!

We returned the item. It was poor quality and very flimsy. We had zero faith that these selves would hold the weight of books. Also, one of the shelves we ordered was used and clearly had been returned. The box had been opened before and the shelves were bent. Would not recommend.

They completely lied about the dimensions. Now I need to take it all apart, fight to put it back in the box, and struggle to carry it back to HD to return it
