[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater couldn't have come at a better time. I was planning on testing it out in the downstairs bedroom, as it's always a bit colder in there because the old heater no longer works properly. I set up this heater on top of the other heating element (you can see in the video/picture) I have a mini thermometer/humidity meter that I placed in the room, for about an hour to allow for the thermometer to read the correct temperature in the room. Then I turned the heater on low and checked the temperature after 30 minutes, so I could get an idea as to how long it may take the heater to sufficiently heat up any room of that size. The temperature went up 6° in 30 min. As soon as I walked in the room, I immediately noticed the warmth and that the chill was completely gone. There are 3 settings on the heater, that are easy to change as needed; LOW/FAN/HIGH. There is also an awesome safety feature located on the bottom of the heater. When the heater is powered on, and running; if the heater is lifted, or tipped over the heater instantly turns off. The heater itself is very small, light and easy to transport from one area to the next, which is nice that I don't need to use both hands to move from one place to another. It's the perfect addition to my small bedroom as it heats up quick enough to take the chill off at any moment I need it. I will also be taking this heater on the road with us, for our work weekends so we don’t have to freeze in our dressing rooms (as we did this weekend). First thing my husband said, as I complained about our dressing room being without heat… “We should start bringing that heater with us on the road!” I may have to consider purchasing one for home use since we’ll be using this one for our gig weekends. Highly recommend this heater; heats an average sized bedroom quickly, safety feature is brilliant, works well and it’s easy to carry with very little weight. Love this thing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater quickly heats up the entire living room quietly and safely. I don't want to pay to heat my entire house when everyone is in the living room and this space heater is a perfect solution for me. I had another radiant heater, but it was not safe---it scorched a blanket that got too close and obviously it could have started a fire. Also that radiant heater made it very hot if you were right next to it, but every where else was cold. This heater is much better because it heats the entire room. Also, this heater is safe. It is cool to the touch and if it tips over even a little bit it automatically turns off. The heater has a high and a low setting and then it has a dial with 10 different levels, so you can set it to the exact amount of heat that you want. You can turn it up or down just a little bit. This heater is so quiet that you can hardly hear it. The heater is small and it sort of looks like a stereo speaker, so it can blend in with other electronics. Also, you don't need to position it right next to you since it heats such a wide area. I really recommend this heater because it heats up a room quickly, quietly, and safely. It also allows me to save so much money on heating bills.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trying out the Vornado whole room heater was perfect timing, as outside temps just dropped. I was skeptical of space heaters, but I very interested so see how the Vornado would work in the "cold spots" in certain rooms. But let's look at this from start to finish: 1. I had the Vornado out of the box and working in minutes. I was very impressed with it's ease of use, plentiful safety features (cool touch case, tipover protection, 2 stage auto shutoff) and how quiet it was on both low and high settings. 2. I tested the Vornado is different sized rooms, i.e., kitchen, bathroom, den, bedroom, garage). The time it took to feel the warm, gentle heat was impressive. Obviously, the smaller the room, the quicker it will warm up. What I really loved was that the heat was like a soft breeze and not a hot blast. And it's whisper quiet. 3. Our family is already fighting over who gets to use the Vornado, so we might have to buy another one. It's small and very portable, but it heats rooms very well. Note: if you use this in your bedroom, you will be lulled to sleep by the soft white noise emitted by the heater. I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work in a basement office in my house. It has a concrete floor and is open to the rest of the basement. It's cold in the winter and I hate to use the furnace to heat it. The Vornado does a really good job of heating the whole room to 70 degrees without the noise some electric heaters with fans have. Except for the smell for the first couple of days, I have no complaints and recommend this heater for heating a room or workshop. As a matter of fact, my husband was so impressed that he's getting one for his workshop in the garage. We haven't noticed a spike in our electric bill and have been running the heater most days. I'd recommend running the heater for a day or two in an unused space to burn off the smell before putting it into a room that you're using. Other than that, it's the perfect heater to keep this Mainer warm all winter while saving on our oil bill.

This is a nice little heater! At first I was skeptical since it was so light. I was pleasantly surprised at how instantaneous it heated up! Wow! And, it was hot! I like it already but, to be fair, it is summer and it is hot outside so I have not fully tested it. It did arrived on a cool day so I unpacked it and tried it out. I like that it has a separate fan feature. The tipped-over switch is quick to respond. There are three settings: high heat, fan and low heat. While on 'high', it is still quiet (I like that). It is nice and light so it's easy to carry. The size is nice and won't take up much room. The shape is almost triangular so it will fit into a corner easily. No more wasted space. I can't wait to try this out full-time! Nothing stinks like sitting at the computer freezing. In an effort to save money, I keep my house at 62 when I'm home so having this will help me keep warm. This little heater is going to get a work-out come winter! I intend to place it by my feet while I'm at my desk. I will update you when the snow flies. Stay tuned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Vornado heater is very easy to use! It is lightweight and portable. The heater turns off if it's not on level ground or if it is going to fall over. Unlike another heater I've tried (the Presto Heat Dish), this heater does not emit a loud, ear-splitting sound when that happens. It just quietly turns off - which I definitely prefer! I found the heater to be very safe to use because of these features. The Vornado heater has many settings so you can adjust the temperature very precisely. Even on the strongest setting, it is still very quiet. Yet, it is powerful and warms the area quickly. I would not recommend replacing your home heating system with the Vornado heater, but it is great for cold days and nights! Perfect for watching TV on the couch and staying warm. I would definitely recommend the Vornado heater to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The little space heater works great I’ve been thinking about getting one for my shed, my son and I like to hang out in the shed and during winter it gets really cold so we don’t stay out as much as we would like too. The heater has a self shut off if it gets tipped over and if it detects excessive heat. It has good weight to it and the triangle design looks as if it won’t tip over so easily. I ran it on its highest setting because I wanted to make sure it cool to the touch like it say it is especially if it going to be floor and it was. The highest setting also didn’t feel too harsh. Overall I really like it since I will be using it for my son playing area. Would be perfect for office use, my husband was eyeing it for work office.

I bought 3 of these based on other reviews. Our bedrooms are only about 11X11, but with the doors closed most of the way, these heaters keep them nice & warm. Easy to operate: high or low setting, or fan for air circulation only, and then temperature up or down. VERY QUIET--you really don't hear anything on low, which is the reason I got these for bedrooms. It has a lever on the bottom that shuts it off if it's lifted (or tips over), so if I want to adjust placement, I just slide it over. It also has a cool-down feature, so when you turn it off, air blows for a10 second count down. The lighted temperature number goes dark after a few seconds, so it doesn't hinder sleep. Great investment for our 1965 house with questionable insulation:( I would recommend these and purchase again. Hopefully, they will last for many years!

I am really impressed with this heater. I did not expect it to warm up the room the way that it did! I even put our central air on to make the room extra cold but this eater kept the room very comfortable. It was not loud, and I really liked the fact that the exterior did not get too hot. I was able to read while this heater was on, there was no loud sounds. It is easy to use, compact and stores easily. It is even small enough to be placed up on a desk top if needed. I really like it's size and portability with it's function. This is probably the best heater that I have had, I love the fact that it is not distracting. I received this product at a discount for my honest review. I am VERY glad that I was able to review this heater because it has allowed me to find a heater that I finally love!

Ok, at first I chuckled to myself when I found out I was going to be writing a review for a space heater in the middle of summer. Then, I walked into the bathroom and accidently kicked the space heater that my hubby uses on a regular basis. He likes a sauna like room when he gets out of the shower. I digress. So, I swapped out the heater for the Vornado VH202. I will say I'm impressed. This little thing puts out quite a bit of heat, and very quickly. Also, it's fairly quiet. No louder than a regular fan running. This model only has two fan setting. High DEFINITELY works better than low.

I have a relative in a hospital bed in our drafty living room. The room is small enough (over 100 square feet, but close enough that this did the trick) that I decided to try this heater and it worked like a charm. It was a cold night and I turned down the thermostat below 70 and came back an hour later and the room temp was 73 and eventually got up to 76. I turned it off and moved it to my small bedroom and didn't leave it on as long, because I didn't want to be too hot. I got a second one for a relative who has health problems and is always cold and I am thinking of getting the next size up, because I think I could heat the whole house at one time and never use my heating oil or other space heaters again.

I even use it in my living room over the central air heat, as it’s just as effective but less expensive to run. \n\nIt has an automatic shut off for safety. It also has two different heat mode settings and one mode for air circulation. This is nice if you don’t want heat, but do want white noise. \n\nAs you can see it’s the perfect portable size. It’s smaller than my cat- see photo for comparison. \n\n*I received this product free of charge in exchange for my honest review.

Initial opening of the box, it had a strong electrical smell. Operating the fan was very easy. 2 rocker switches. The fan switch on the left was a little confusing without reading the instructions. Low Fan and High. The heat was delivered very quickly. 2.32 seconds to be exact. Not a heater to be used under the desk to warm the toes. It's more for tabletop use. The emergency off switch underneath the fan is a good addition however wonder if that was really needed since the heater doesn't get that hot.

This product is just a few days old and is performing well. I am a Vornado 'fan'. (A play on words, but absolutely true.) Our last Vornado heater/fan lasted for years and gave great service. This one is designed to heat our entire room...about 10 x 12.' Does a very nice job. We're in the CA foothills and it gets chilly here on a winter day. I can always turn it to a lower temp and warm just my footsies. A light indicates that it is on. That is a helpful reminder to flip it off when you leave the room. It's exceptionally quiet. You hardly know it's on until you feel a very nice neat. Highly recommend.

Still quite nice and I can tell there is a difference between the settings. \n\nSmall so definitely not going to heat up a whole room even if it’s small room but benefit is that it’s portable. Has an edge to hold/lift. A bit heavy. \n\nI’d probably still recommend it but depends on the situation.

It also has great safety features and has a switch on the bottom to shut off if it gets tipped over. This is actually on the list of approved heaters by my corporate employer allowed in the office if I wanted to take it in. I sit on a ton of conference calls so a quiet heater is a must! This delivers great heat that is safe and quiet.

this little heater is great. my hubby has his office downstairs and is always cold. i also am down there i work part time for him. it gets cold down there for me. the heater fit great on the desk. its not noisey at all it kept me warm. just the right size. this one works the best of the other one we had. which was to big and bulky and big to much noise. this one is great ill be buying another one . so he can have one. this heater will be great to take with us on vacation to. sometimes im colder then him. love this heater

I bought this in November of 2024 to replace a 7 year old machine that was out of warranty. The VH202 is now slightly heavier \u0026 much quieter. Cosmetically looks the same; but more stable. Hoping it lasts as long as the last one. I use it to heat a 22’ x 10’ room all Winter. I like to be warm, while the rest of the family likes their areas cooler. Occasionally I’ve used it to heat the entire house when furnace was out for 3 days. Kept entire house over 64° on High Setting for 3 days.

Before this model I struggled with my old, long lasting vornado ANALOG (2 knobs) heater which I had to guess how to set then it turned on and off 5 times before it stayed on forever until I was sweating!!($ waste) So this modern digital heater has been my climate savior this winter of no central heating! I love the accurate and sensitive thermostat(drops when door to cold hall opens!) I love the looks (white jacket gold grill) and the red ON light resembling a hot ember glowing in the grill!

Great little fan/heater. Very quiet barely know it's on. My daughters room has a ceiling fan to circulate air but it's much too loud so she uses the fan mode on the vornado keeps her comfortable and is quiet so she can sleep. Also love the safety features, there is a button on the bottom if it tips over it shuts off. Also shuts off if the air flow is blocked, so when my daughter uses the heater mode if the blanket covers it the unit shuts off. Love it and would definitely buy another

This AVH10 heater performs well. It has a digital thermostat so its easy to adjust the temp degree by degree. The output is sufficient for heating my downstairs LR which is chilly in the winter. The heat output is a gentle heat (doesn't overheat my feet) unlike my old space heater which lacked an adjustable thermostat and cranked out skin blistering heat on high and almost nothing on low. I can't comment on durability bc I've only used it one month. Yes I recommend.

I tried using it in my living room, but the area is a bit too big unless it is directly in front of you. I tried it in my bedroom and it worked decent in there. I bought this about 6 months ago from home depot this the second one the problem the on and off button is loose so it stop working. The first one lasted a few years I purchased it from bed bath and beyond. Same problem with the on and off button it became loose and stop working.

I went for simple and reliable, but I should have ordered one with more features. The fan has only 1 speed, on or off. A quieter setting would be nice. The heater has only two settings. I don't think the cooler setting is even worth bothering with. Otherwise it is a very good heater.

IT IS 34 DEGREES WITH A WIND CHILL OF 28. I PUT IT IN MY UNUSED BACK BEEDROOM, THE COLDEST ROOM IN MY APARTMENT. THE ROOM SIZE IS 12 X 8 WITH 7' CEILING . AT THE TIME IT WAS 62 DEGREES IN BEEDROOM AND IN 45 MINUTES IT BROUGHT IT UP TO 65, JUST THE TEMP I WANT TO KEEP THAT ROOM AT. AND I HAD IT SET ON LOW (325 WATTS). AND IT IS THE ONLY HEAT SOURCE IN THE ROOM. GREAT LITTLE HEATER AND ONLY USING 325 WATTS.

I’ve been using these in my bedroom for years now. In the summer \u0026 warmer months, I select the air circulator to use as a sound machine (white noise) to sleep. In the winter \u0026 cooler months, I alternate using the high \u0026 low heat, which still acts as white noise, but also warms up my bedroom. I absolutely love these. They’re compact \u0026 get daily use year round. Totally recommend them!

Great heater as advertised also excellent circulating fan in summer and perfect sleep aid because of its steady whirring sound which cancels most other noises!\r\n\r\nOnly problem since my initial review was after 9 months of continuous use the spring loaded ON/OFF thermostat button has failed and slipped out of sight. However I am still able to use "stick underbutton" it just looks broken from above.

It has all of the safety features it should and so easy to just pick and move and plug in! We love it and are so glad we were able to receive it and leave a review.
