Very nice vacuum and is definitely quiet.

Have only used twice, but works great. Has great suction and is easy to set up and clean debris. So far would give it an A!!!

For the money it's overpriced, cheap, plastic junk. Have owned for 1 year. Attachments won't stay in their snap-in holders. Hose dangles out of it's designed loop and sags to floor. Handle won't stay attached (We finally epoxied ours to the canister) Suction is mediocre at best. Hose-to-base connection isn't secure and typically separates while vacuuming. Advise to pick a different machine, or spend a lot less for a mediocre machine.

Only thing I don't care for on this vacuum is the canister doesn't hold a lot of dirt. And being a professional Cleaning company we do a lot of vacuuming so there's a lot of emptying for vacuum. But it has great suction and works great. Got this based on positive reviews, but now regretting it. Bought it to replace the Dyson I normally used as they’re phasing our corded vacs, but it is inferior in every way. Picks up less than half of what the Dyson will, is awkward to use in comparison and especially the hose and accessories, not that well constructed - the body on top is separating and I keep needing to clip it back together, the internal filter is the bane of my existence as it clogs quickly and is a pain to clean properly, HEPA filter keeps falling off the side... need I go on? Commercial cleaning for forty years. Always respected Sanitaire and their cloth bag vacuums. It seems that the engineering for this bagless vacuum causes overheating of the motor, perhaps due to the design of the hepa filter system. Bought one vacuum for use in my janitorial business, four more for two other institutions. Have had to send two back for over heating/smoking/loss of suction. About to send another back this week. Over 6 decades I've owned Rainbow, Kirby, Hoover, Shop Vac, Dyson & other brand vacuums, and am absolutely amazed and the wonderful difference in this Sanitaire Bagless! In the first 3 weeks it's picked up more dirt than I even imagined was possible...my carpets are starting to look newer! It's quieter & most definitely transitions from carpet to floor perfectly....doesn't even suck up my throw rugs!! It's also American Made!! Update from previous terse review:\r\n\r\nI've had this vac for a little over a year now and use it about 3 times a week to vacuum two big area rugs and hardwoods in ~800 sq/ft living room and dining room.\r\nIts definitely not worth the premium.\r\nHeres why I dont like it:\r\n1) Its heavy, very heavy. (I understand thats due to the big motor-its too big. See below)\r\n2) The motor is too big. I vacuumed barefooted once (Once Johnny, once) and it was flinging all kinds of debris at me. No matter what level I put the brush at. I then realized I have to vacuum one area twice. \r\n3) The cord gets warm. Why does it get warm? In every plug in my house its warm. Is it powering a car, why does it need so much power that the cord is getting warm? Its a little scary.\r\n4) Its not really hepa. I mean its just a filter on the exhaust. The hose connection and the canister connection are clearly not sealed. I say clearly because you can see where dust is escaping by the little arrows of dust trails.\r\n5) The hose pulls the vacuum over every time I use the crevice tool. There are a few dents in my floors from it falling over. Its heavy, remember? My floor does.\r\n6) Also the manufacturer site says it does hard surface floors. It does not. IT DOES NOT DO HARD SURFACES. It just flings the bits all over everything. It would be funny if it wasn't half way to the price of a real grownup vacuum like a Miele.\r\n7) The canister has a static charge on it and things cling when emptied. Maybe due to my one wool rug and my one synthetic rug. Dont know. I do know for the $$$ I could have purchased a bissel 1831 for $90 and had all the same problems plus an extra $130 in my pocket.\r\nThese are all first world problems I know. But for $220 I should get more.

It doesn't feel heavy, and it cleans up well after young children. I use it to vacuum preschool classrooms. It's easy to use. Not much assembly. Best vacuum for the money out there. Own four they last forever and easy to repair anyone can replace parts on this equipment. Use for commercial cleaning company so I know vacuums. In process of changing all our vacuums to this one.

Super easy to assemble. If the filter or canister is dirty, you can rinse them out. Height adjustment is super easy and the vacuum is very light...and it’s super powerful. We’ve had it for a month and have had zero problems.

In the cleaning business, maybe not as rugged as most commercial vacuums but would definitely recommend. Suction is amazing, CRI approved, great value for the price!

Very powerful, and easy to maneuver . I live in a condo., so it has to be able to move around well in tight spaces. It cleans like a dream.

Seems to be built pretty well, but it is heavy. The suction and performance on carpet is pretty good but on bare floors, it is really disappointing. The suction at the hose is just so so as well.

This vacuum is very powerful and cleans very well. Moves easily. Cord could be longer.

This is a great commercial vacuum cleaner with plenty of hose and plenty of suction.
