Very pleased with product, and thankful that others have reviewed it and comparable items. Purchase was primarily for CD player. Two cheaper machines purchased in recent years had failed. Reviews of some less expensive players helped me pick this one. So far, so good. Aux input was also a must for use of speakers with computer and other devices. The built in battery makes this model versatile and convenient. Who wants to buy a pack of C cells? AM reception better with this radio than previous sets. Like station preset function. Unit is somewhat bulky, but provided the CD function holds up, I won't complain.

For a light weight little boombox, this is sweet \u2026 doesn\u2019t take up a lot of room, speakers are sound as long as the volume not too high, need glasses to read the radio dial.

It's great for my small apartment. My deaf neighbor likes rock. I don't. I use it to play things I like when he wants to rock out. It does VERY WELL for why I purchased it.

Perfect for what I wanted. Fit space available, handy to listen to music, either CD or radio, while I work on my computer. Really good sound. Great for the price.

It took a little while to figure out about all the buttons/dials were for, but after that it works great * has a wonderful sound.

It works wonderfully and it's easy to use. The only thing wrong with it was the disk reading lens needed to be cleaned.

The volume varies greatly with station. Finding stations isn't always easy and it is easily overcome by stronger signals. I got it for the CD player. The radio was an add on that came with it. Inexpensive, I knew what I was getting so I can't complain.

the station I listen to is hard to tune into but when I did I left it there , the sound is good enough for me

The radio connected to the wall works great but putting in the batteries in didn't work. It was so disappointing. It was a beautiful radio, but didn't work with batteries. Sad!!!

A basic & simple device that my mother wanted as a replacement to the same model that she had for 5 years before the cd player stopped working.

This "boom box" is tiny. I probably should have read the details info more thoroughly, but even so, this item is ridiculous. This is just so cheaply made. The radio control dials are just that - old-time dials, with no station display feature. The station range windows are printed on the dial, and you have to turn it between the sections that contain the stations you're seeking, guessing which station you land on. That's bad enough. The auxillary feature you'd use to connect your iPod doesn't have the cable attached, or even separately supplied to attach yourself, making it necessary to purchase one. I'm not at all impressed with the extent of the volume output. It doesn't get very loud, which is expected, given the small size, lack of bass-boost, etc. I haven't even bothered trying the CD function.\n\n I feel completely ripped-off, having spent $40 for something more reminiscent of a 70s era radio. Lesson learned - spend more money and get something with actual modern functionality.

I love my music box, I thought it was bigger, the music is good to sit on the porch, or in the backyard and listen. Overall it's very nice. mi

I purchased a Jensen Cd-475-player ordered through Walmarts.com.\nReceived June 5, 2020.\n I tried cd player on receipt and the CD worked fine.\n Used next 8-24-20 and the first cd worked fine, 2nd and 3rd skipped badly. All 3 cds worked fine on my other players.\n Tried it again yesterday, 8-27, and it was no better. 1 cd worked fine, 2nd and 3rd skipped badly. 3rd worse than the 2nd.\nI would like to return in it's original carton for full refund.\nBTW- I notice it was shipped to Walmarts from "Return Center B718 W 350 N Corporation PKW, Greenfield, IN. 48140"\nWas I sent a cd player that already had been returned as defective by someone else???\nI would like a full refund. A CD player should work properly more than one time \nJensen appears to be made in China and is not able to be contacted. Wholesaler to Walmarts will not issue refund.\nAll in all will never buy an electronic order from Walmart.com or Jensen again.\n1 star for on time delivery.

Radio station reception inadequate. Did not receive radio stations as well as I had expected.

This is a great radio/CD player for the $. I am moving and am leaving the same brand/model (different color) purchased about 2 years ago with roommate. Mostly use it in my kitchen while cooking. You can plug it in or use batteries, so it can be easily moved around the house. Good for when you lose power during/after a storm.

The wife uses it with her teachings with young children. We had hoped to put the unit out of reach of little hands and use the remote to start and stop the songs. The remote is almost like a credit card with bumps, and not effective beyond four feet and in direct line of sight. Good little boom box. I like to be outside a lot and this is just great for listening to my CDs or the radio, while I work in my garden or just relax. I love the fact that it recharges and I don't have to buy batteries. Now I have another device with better sound that I can use when power is out as well.

I like the looks of this CD player but when I play the mp3 cds in this player it hesitates during the songs. It was driving me nuts so I returned it and got another one just like it. And the same thing is happening. It skips or stops jerks during the songs. I wanted this CD player for the reason to play my mp3 cds so now I'm taking this 2 nd one back. Wish the player would play them right. The sound of the player is great

Pleasantly pleased as a kid ho group up in the 80's this brought so many great memories back. The best part of the boombox is the enternal battery so no more D batteries of course the sound quality is amazing and its extremely light to carry around. In other words I love it!!

I love this little cd player radio! The sound is good and everything works perfectly. I wanted something for my office to listen to while I work and this is perfect. The size is compact but perfect for my desk, cord length is perfect and it's very easy to use.
