[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this calculator for my son, who is in high school. The calculator is a slim design, durable (it's been knocked off his desk a few times), and it can withstand being carried around in a bag with heavy books. The actual calculator is easy to use, powers on as soon as he slides the cover off, and the buttons do not stick. We bought this as a replacement for another brand that was more fragile, and the buttons would stick and therefore give inaccurate results. We bought this exact same calculator for my oldest child, and he used it all throughout high school and college. A great buy for the money!

I like this specific one. They offer many different color combinations, but this one has more of an easier to identify keyboard. It has a cover, which is nice, but once it is off i dont imagine I'll be storing it with it on- maybe, if it had a hindge and it could slasp closed, like a clamshell. It came sealed in its original packaging, shipped securely and sent immediately after my purchase. Trustworthy company and seller. Will order more products from them, as needed.

calculator is very versatile. I'm not an engineer or engineering student but needed to do some science/engineering calculations. The documentation with the calculator is USELESS. There is no good information from either the paperwork with the calculator or on the TI website to help. I found a number of youtube videos that pointed me in the right direction to learning the calculator. If you are in a class with an instructor who can walk you through the various functions you'll be fine. If you are already knowledgeable about scientific calculators, no issue. Other wise start looking for someone or something to explain how to use this good device.

I used to have an expensive HP calculator with 9 separate storage buttons. Although this only has three storage buttons for that reason alone for me it has been well worth the price. I have one in my purse and one at my desk area at all times. You can replace the batteries in it although it requires removing some screws and selecting the right button batteries. Which I have done successfully. Or just buy another one and pitch the old one.

I thought that for the price this was going to be a cheap-looking, flimsy calculator. it is just like the quality Texas Instrument ones i used in high school. i bought this because it was on my rising middle school daughter's back-to-school list. it's a convenient size and it does what it is desighned to do. the color looks even more appealing as it's shown on the site. i'm still amazed at how inexpensive it is.

I needed a scientific calculator for a college statistics course and the professor actually sent the manual for this one so I bought it. You can't beat the price (less than $9) and it serves the purpose. Nothing fancy, but does the job. The only "problem" I can see is maybe when I have to change the battery as it is only battery operated (not solar as well). It looks like you have to take the entire back plate off to the change the battery...not sure how much of a hassle that is but it would have been nice to have had a small battery panel in the back like most devices do. Otherwise, it's a great buy.

This version of the '30 has a "backup" button that lets you correct the current entry without cancelling an starting over. Unfortunately it comes without a user manual. I wish I had this one while I was a college student. This is definitely a scientific calculator, not suitable for kids. The only complaint I have is that it's non-rechargeable.

Excellent calculator, I use it for university level algebra, trig and chemistry and it has so far held up to the constant workout and being carried around in my book bag and occasionally dropped. This is the version of calculator that my university's Math Department allows for test taking. "higher" level calculators that graph are not allowed.

Super simple to use and they don't break when my kids throw their book bags around. Only reason I had to get another one is because my daughter went into an advanced class so she needed a better calculator than what she had last year. My old Texas Instrument calculator lasted until my 4 years cousin throw it in a bucket full of water. When we found it won,t turn on. Lasted for more than 5 years without a battery change. Great display and small size makes it easy to carry around. Went to the store to buy a replacement. Love Texas instrument brand.

This calculator works great but it's a little odd...it's more like a digital adding machine than a calculator but again, it works great. I bought this one due to the fact that I had an old TI calculator in which the battery went out and I couldn't get the back off to change it. The battery lasted for many years but finally went out. I thought this one was an upgraded version of the same thing. It's a good calculator but, again, it reminds me of an adding machine more than a calculator.

Cheap and effective does exactly what I need it to do and when I need it to do. There is also minimal bloat in terms of buttons making it easy to navigate. For fast paced exams not dealing with complex math I would use this over an Inspire calculator any day.
