I replaced a 15-year-old Black %26 Decker hand vac with this model, and it's thus far performed well in most tasks around the apartment. A very long-running popular design that has good suction, high debris storage capacity, structurally easy to handle especially for seniors with joint and/or muscle problems. A bit bulky, a little heavy and runs about 10 minutes on a full charge, about 4 minutes less than my old B%26D hand vac. Has no charging base like my old one, but it's proven to be convenient, nonetheless. Extension tube makes it easier for seniors or anyone to pick up floor debris with minimal bending over. Reaches into narrow areas anywhere and the brush actually does work well to capture hairs. Noisy like every hand vac I've had, B%26D or otherwise. Easy clean-up. No HEPA, however.

This handheld vacuum is powerful enough to pick up anything that a regular vacuum cleaner could pick up. Yet it is light enough and quiet enough to be comfortable to use. The instructions say to charge it fully before using it. I used it for a short time straight out of the box, to see if that would work, and it did. After I finished my task, I charged it overnight. When it is charging, a light turns red on the charger plug. When it is done charging, that light turns off (not green). The charging dock can be mounted on a wall or placed on a flat surface. The vac comes with an insertable brush attachment, and the end of the vac can be extended to get into tight spaces. Be careful when you push that extension back into the device, as it can be a bit difficult to push in, and then when it does go back in, it goes quickly, and you do not want to pinch your hand. This is a great device to have around as a quick solution when things get a little messy.

I have been using Dustbusters for nearly 35 years. This Black+Decker Dustbuster is a basic model with good suction for light duty pickup. I have used it to pick up crumbs on a countertop, vacuum my sofa and also in my car. It is not for heavy duty use. It is easy to use, but you must press and hold the power button to keep it on. The collection bowl contains one fabric filter. There is no micro dust filter. Emptying the collection bowl is simple. Included with the vacuum is a crevice tool which can be extended 3 inches, a small brush tool and the wall hanging charging base. The vacuum must sit upright on the charging base to charge. This is a good, basic handheld vacuum.

The power isn't awful. I actually like the charger for this one better than the traditional disk you used to sit them on that wasn't sturdy. I'm not exactly fond of the extension nozzle. it doesn't stay extended. If you bump it just right, it goes back in. As expensive as these hand vacs are, I expected better quality. This is my go to for picking up quick debri from pets. I prefer the older model, as it seemed to be made with better quality. If you're going to get a hand vac from Black And Decker nowadays, I suggest the best model you dan get. This one is mediocre in terms of quality compared to others I've had from this brand.

Was replacing an old dustbuster and once again without fail, Black & Decker come through with the BLACK+DECKER Dustbuster 7.2-Volt Cordless 1.3-Cup Handheld Vacuum. The vacuum fits well in the hand and the weight is well balanced. A few changes for the better from the last model I had, is the power switch is now a push and hold button rather than a slide button. The end of the vacuum now has a recessed extension that you can pull out as well as the usual brush attachment. And while charging, the plug now has a light on it that lights up while charging and goes out when charging is complete. the charging base can either lay flat or attach the the wall with included hardware. The power behind the vacuum is nothing less than an A+ in typical Black & Decker fashion. If you're in the market for a new dustbuster, this is your answer.

Unexpectedly light weight and enough battery for quick cleaning. Mountable charger helps for space saving if that would be your concern. Easy to clean and no need bags to empty the machine. I bought this little handheld vacuum a couple months ago and absolutely love it. It is so easy to maneuver on floors, drawers, couches, etc. It's ideal for small, quick clean up when it's not worth bringing out the big vacuum cleaner. I live in Florida and the entrance is always like a beach (full of sand). I fixed the charger there and often clean it up in only a few seconds. \r\n\r\nMy only contention is that I have been trying to buy more filters for a month now (so I can use one while the other dries), and I keep hearing these filters are on back order. I am starting to be a little worried that the filters won't be available, which would render this amazing hand vaccum useless. Fingers crossed, Black \u0026 Decker will have this filter available very soon.

I can vacuum my car which is the main reason I wanted this vacuum. You can swivel the head on it to fit in different spaces which is a nice feature. It come with a filter that is easy to clean also. The only thing I wish were better would be more powerful suction. This does the job pretty well overall for what it is intended for.

The Classic Dustbuster will always be an essential item in any household. We use it for quick messes and especially for our furniture and vehicles with the brush attachment. The only thing I wish I'd done differently is to have bought the version with more attachments. This version only comes with the brush attachment - which is great. I also like the long skinny attachments that go into tiny crevices but will have to get one separately from B&D.

This little guy is right in line with all of my previous dustbusters- reliable! It does the job very well and is able to pick up basically anything. This little guy packs a big punch in my book. I had to purchase a second one I must say.. I had this little vacuum for about four years now and it's never let me down. I purchased a package of two filters for it and I still have the one and this little machine is still going strong. I had to purchase another one, although the price went up by $10 from when I first purchased it. Oh I paid $20. But as I said, it was worth it so I purchased this second one , figured I do a review and I do recommend it.. I keep one in my shop downstairs and one upstairs which I use for the kitchen sometimes. Everyone should own one! It is handy for quick cleanups. I especially like for molding around the floor and other corners where the larger vacuum can't get too. The only negative is how it sits in the charger. It's awkward to quickly put in and take out.

This light weight hand vacuum is great for quick cleanup of small debris spills all astound my home. The suction power is better than my much older Dustbuster and the battery is a lot longer lasting. It is very easy to open to dump the debris picked up. The charging bracket makes it simple to recharge and store the vac . The warning light with automatic shutoff when the battery is fully charged makes it easy to know the status. The brush attachment can be used to clean furniture.

We have ALWAYS had a, “Dustbuster”, of some kind in our home. We have purchased several, all different brands. None of these small handheld vacs last very long. At most, we had a Scorpio that lasted two years. Scoured the internet and local stores. It took me one year to come up on this Black and Decker (2Ah). Slim enough and sleek enough to fit on our “Dustbuster”, wall. Working for 2 months now and going strong. Just what we wanted, and needed!

I have only had this vacuum a couple of weeks so I can't attest to its longevity but if it is like all Black and Decker products it will be fine. At fist I didn't think I would like the fact that you had to hold the on switch in the on position all the time but it has proved to not be a problem even though I'm 84 and my fingers are a little weak. It picks up dog hair great. I call my little dog a hair manufacturer so I really need a good vacuum.

I've never had a cordless handheld vacuum before and I like it. It is lightweight and very easy to carry and easy to use and it's small size makes it easy to store just about anywhere. It has good suction and charges very quickly. You can use it for small jobs around the house, the stair treads, and the car. The small nozzle makes getting into corners and small areas easier. It comes with simple instructions and is easy to operate.

Great for small jobs. I love to sweep up my piles and then get up every item with this handheld vacuum instead of a dust pan. It is a little frustrating how the front of the canister is so small it can't be cleaned out all the way so over time things buildup in side there. Overall, I love this thing, and recommend to everyone! I got my mom one for Christmas last year!
