Beautiful chair, not best recliner

Really love these chairs! I bought two in navy in November of 2018. They’ve held up very well with daily use! I didn’t build them, but the man who did said a few choice words while building it, so it probably isn’t the easiest. I find them quite comfortable (I’m 5’1”) as does my husband (5’11”) and they’ve received so many compliments! Like other compliments, they definitely hold onto lint and fur BUT a fuzz remover (like the gleener, ~$20) works like a charm! My reasons for four instead of five is: the reclining action. The legs coming up requires you to push back- not a problem, but the back recline doesnt lock. So with each shift in weight the back wants to come back up. I got these for naps so meh. Also: the legs aren’t the sturdiest. They could easily be glued in to make them stronger, but I chose not to as we move often. We got these on Black Friday for an amazing sale and I’m so glad! I think they’ll last for at least another five years!!

I was looking for chairs for a small 11x11 sitting room. I wanted recliners since the room is too small too have chairs and ottomans; but I didn’t want them to LOOK like recliners. These has only 3 reviews on them so I was nervous, but the price was excellent and these were the exact look I was going for so I took a chance. These chairs are fantastic! I bought the navy blue; I would not call this a true navy; they are a bit lighter in person than the photos show. I would call it almost a marine blue. I love the color, and they look and feel like full size chairs (not accent chairs) without taking up a huge amount of space. They are very comfortable too and easy to recline. The only downside is that they do require a good bit of distance away from the wall if you want to recline them. In my small room I keep them pushed back into the corner when not reclined and if I want to recline them I just pull them out from the wall first; not a dealbreaker but a bit of a pain. For me it’s not a big deal since I’m usually the only one who sits in this room, but if you plan to use them a lot just know that they need quite a bit of clearance to recline.

Overall this was a great purchase! I did not expect to find a set of two chairs for under $400 at time of purchase. Delivery was great. No damages to the two large boxes. Delivery driver used his dolly to put the boxes into the entry of our doorway. Assembly was pretty self explanatory. The first chair I assembled was easy and relatively quick. The second chair of the set, however, was missing some predrilled holes for one of the rear legs. I used a glue gun to melt through the Velcro and layer of material to find the areas where the screw was supposed to screw into. Also one of the brackets for the wings of the upper part of the chair needed the screws loosened and bent outward in order to slide into each other as instructed (the other three areas I did prior to this went in without too much effort). Overall the chairs look awesome and I scotch guarded them for extra protection. The seat cushion is a little firm but not bad when reclined. Very happy overall for the price.

This chair lives up to previous reviews: it was very firm to begin with, but is becoming more comfortable. It is attractive and sturdy. It is a pushback recliner and it is easy to push back.\r\nHere is a caution: \r\nPlease be sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendation to have TWO adults present to assemble this chair! The bottom went together fairly easily but attaching the sidewings to the back of the chair and sliding the assembled chair top into place requires two people to make sure it slides into place straight and evenly.. i am a senior female but healthy and strong. Having no one available to help me I tried to accomplish.the entire assembly myself. When trying to slide the top part of the chair into place it was awkward\r\n and heavy and didn't slide into place evenly. It jammed and it was very difficult to fix. So : make it easy on yourself : assemble this chair with a friend !

First, I must say I was very hesitant to purchase these for my new home based on all the poor reviews. I have no idea what they are talking about... these chairs are amazing! I cannot believe the great price too. If you are looking for comfort in a wingback chair, you need to look for another chair- lol! But to be honest, I’ve worked all day on my computer desk at home while seated in this chair and it was great. It’s of course not something you’d want to sleep in, but it’s so gorgeous in the house, not too large, which I love and function perfectly. Perhaps many of the bad reviews are a U-S-E-R issue. ;) Luckily I have an awesome husband that built them really well and we love them. We bought the taupe and have no lint issues. Seems to be durable fabric. Bought 2 and I can’t wait to set up my new study. Photo shows temp setup in living room.

Very nice recliners without looking like recliners. Ample reclining space, nice modern look. Pretty easy to assemble. Fabric looks good 2+ years later (and I have a cat). Color as shown just a tiny tiny bit darker and hair warmer gray, which I find elegant. It's easy to miss that the edges have little silver studs - they also look great. My only complaint is the seat depth is deeper than I like (i'm only 5'5) so I need to use a pillow behind my lower back. However, if you are looking for a deeper seat this will work great.

Very happy with the new recliner; bought for a tight corner in my bedroom. It looks beautiful, was extremely easy to assemble, and didn't break the bank. I got rid of a bulky chair and ottoman and this sleek chair fits much better and looks great. Only caveat would be that it isn't super comfy...the bottom cushion is very firm and I needed to add a back pillow to provide some lumbar support. Still, I've sat in it at least an hour each night and find it comfortable enough for that.

The chair looks great and the assembly directions were very clear and easy to understand. The wings were a bit difficult to attach, but I assembled the chair myself in 30 minutes or less. The seat cushion could be more comfortable and I need a throw pillow for my back. All in all, I like the chair. Delivery took longer than expected-about 2 weeks.

I looked for a smaller/narrower recliner for our bedroom and found this one. It works perfectly in the space and looks great, too. I don't think it would hold up well with heavy daily use, particularly as a recliner, but I'm very satisfied with the quality and look of this chair for the price.

Very easy to assemble and no extra tools needed!\r\nMy one con is putting on the wings are a bit tricky. First have the chair back on its side, to line up the brackets on the wing, then place the chair back right side up and push on the wing to line up for placing the screws in. (This will save you some sweat).\r\n\r\nI bought 2 for my new place which has a very large master bedroom. The footrest comes all the way to the back of your ankles so no "leg over the edge" discomfort. My mom fell asleep in it almost instantly so it's a winner!\r\nPut it together by myself and will put together the second tomorrow

I am so pleased with this purchase! It fits great in my apartment bedroom and doesn’t take up too much space. Really comfortable and very good quality. This was a great purchase and a very good deal for the price. The only negative thing I have to say is that the fabric has a strange smell when you first take it out of the box.

I’ve had two of these chairs in my living room for about two years now. They are good for the price I paid, but definitely not high quality. The fabric is beginning sag/stretch a bit on one of the chairs. Also, I pushed up on the chair arms with my elbow, and the particleboard, or whatever is inside to give it structure, cracked under my elbow (I weigh 120 lbs).

The chair looks nice, but isn’t very comfortable. It’s comfortably firm, but the back isn’t high enough. The arms are also very narrow. If they were wider it would be nicer. It reclines very far back, but the arms are so narrow you need a pillow for support on the sides. This would be okay for an office, not for a living or family room.

We have a small apartment and this recliner fits perfectly into our living room. It's comfortable, sturdy, and it matches another barrel chair that we purchased. It was also very easy to assemble, very minimal assembly was required. We're really glad that we found it.

The chair is great! Looks more expensive than it is. It’s really comfortable, I am used to having an ottoman to rest my feet, and even though the foot rest ends at my ankles, I really like sitting in it. I will eventually move it to my bedroom since it is so versatile.

I purchased this in the teal/beige and just love it! I needed a small accent chair for my formal living room and this is perfect! It did need assembling but it was easy and didn't compromise the stability of the chair. I wouldn't be afraid to purchase this chair again.

I love my new chair. It came so quickly. My kids were able to put it togehter for me. The price was much less than other places. Great for relaxing. The size was perfect for a small condo. Perfect color for my beachside condo.

The seat cushion is incredibly stiff, and not at all comfortable. The chair itself looks nice, reclines nicely (and stays in that recline position), but if you want a recliner you can take a nap in or relax in, this probably isn't it.
