This flooring is a winner in my opinion. I really like the ease and speed of working with it! \r\n\r\nWe pulled up the carpet in the whole house and painted the concrete 20 years ago.  Its chipping and it's time for a change! Since we did the living room and hall, I thought we might as well do with this room too.\r\n\r\n*It feels much better to walk on than the concrete! The pieces are thin, but it really does feel like I'm walking on a more cushioned floor.\r\n*Cutting the pieces was easy, a couple passes with the razor cutter and it could be snapped, then a quick cut on the backing. \r\n*This version of flooring has a matte surface, giving the look of sun bleached barn wood. There are textured groves in it like real wood. The detail is very well done.\r\n*The pattern repeats often, but each piece has the pattern placed at different start points. Like a certain swirl pattern might be at the end of one piece and the same swirl would be in the middle of another piece. It was easy to space them out.\r\n*As for the baseboards. I didn't want to pull them up and will use 1/4" round trim to cover the edges.\r\n\r\nWe've done three rooms with different versions of lock flooring and this one is my favorite. I love the weathered barn wood look.  If that's what you're looking for, I would recommend it for sure!
