This plant came a few days before it was originally slated. Which was a happy surprise! The box it came in was very strong and clearly labeled to stay upright. There was a little loose soil in the box so I recommend opening it outside, but there was no damage to the plant. I love this color of this plant. It’s new growth is a bright lime green, and as it matures, it turns a gorgeous dark green that’s almost black. As the new growth ages, it starts at the tips and almost looks like it’s decaying, but it’s very much alive. It’s been very fun to watch it age. I will say upon delivery the plant was a little lopsided. Like it grew towards a light and wasn’t turned often. I have it in my living room above the fireplace. It’s about 7’ away from a north facing window. Not a ton a light, but as you can hopefully see from the pictures it is growing! And I’ve been turning it regularly so that it grows more uniformly. I’ve only lost one leaf since it’s arrival. It doesn’t like a lot of water, but it’s potted in a nursery pot with drain holes inside a nice ceramic one with some clearance at the bottom so that the roots don’t have to sit in the standing water. I did buy this plant when it was on sale, so at a regular price I’m not sure if I would have bought it. I was looking for this particular variegation and it came as described. So I am happy with my purchase!
