I had a Logitech wireless K365 wave keyboard and M510 mouse combo that lasted many years, but the mouse died and I couldn't find it in stores or online. That old style came with a 2" long USB receiver.\nI found the M510 is an improved model where it's usb receiver is around 1/4" long and stores in the battery compartment of the mouse, but they removed the sync button and it doesn't automatically sync to the older USB receiver.\nI could try downloading Logitech's free keyboard/mouse pairing software to see if that works, but I chose to plug the extra usb receiver into my 10 port usb hub and that works so I am happy.\n[side note: I accidentally spilled water on my old usb receiver so it no longer worked even after trying to dry it, so I bought a replacement USB receiver at Walmart (or Best Buy or online) and a few days later the old usb receiver worked again so I kept the new receiver for the future]

I have been a Logitech product user for years, and the quality, reliability, and overall performance of their products has always impressed me. The Logitech M510 wireless mouse is no exception. It is durable (I've dropped the poor thing many times ), yet it still works perfectly. The battery life is surprisingly good, and I love the ability to customize how each of the 7 buttons (2 on left side; 2 on top; a pressable scroll wheel button with three directions: Left, Right, and Down) work both overall as well as in each program. Thus, I can program a button to do one thing in Word, but something entirely different in Firefox, etc.\n\nIn short, Logitech has once again met and exceeded my hopes and expectations. This is a VERY good product at a very good price.\n\nVERDICT: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I love the Logitech mouse because it is very comfortable for my hand. The only thing that bothers me is that it's very sensitive to the touch. When I'm clicking the left side of the mouse, my other finger accidentally clicks on the right side as well. So, I wish it wasn't so sensitive. I compensated the sensitivity, by placing a small piece of paper into the grove of the right side of the mouse button, so now it prevents me from accidentally clicking on the right side. The paper that I installed into the grove does make it slightly harder to use the right side of the mouse, but I rather it to be harder then being too sensitive. Overall, it does a fantastic job, and I love the size and shape. It's perfect for my hand.

This has been my choice for a Mouse for many years. It fits my hand perfectly, does what I need it to do effortlessly and is so reliable...I don't know what I'd do without it. I've been using this particular model since it was wired and went on to the wireless version when that came out. The M510 is a necessary addition to my PC system and if I am working with a laptop...I use it there as well. I'm so used to working a computer with a Mouse, it seems I cannot work without it...nor would I wish to. The USB Connector is handily housed inside the battery compartment so if you need to pack it up, it won't get lost! It's simply a GREAT MOUSE!

I now own three of these. This is the perfect mouse for me both functionally and ergonomically. I use computers (laptops and desktops) at work and at home. I travel with my laptop and use it at multiple locations at work with and without docking stations. I hate having to make my mouse mobile as well. I keep a mouse at each location and with this model I can associate multiple mice using only one mini unifying USB receiver. Also, I used to get what I call severe mouse hand pain. With this mouse and a good wrist support mouse pad there is no more pain.

My favorite mouse ever. I need the extra buttons on the side and the scroll wheel can tilt left and right. The scroll wheel tilting counts as two more buttons and can be programmed to be any keyboard button and several actions. Longer life span than any other mouse I ever bought. Software will also warn you of low battery on the computer screen. So you don't get surprised in the middle of a heated game battle.

I love this mouse. Perfect for small hands. I am just ticked. Found the same mouse on 2 other sites for $12 less. Going back for price match when I have time.\n\nIt really is a great mouse. I have two others, one for another PC and another for travel. While it's a bit big for travel the buttons are positioned perfectly for me. Logitech always makes great products so can't go wrong.

This mouse works extremely well! Would recommend for anyone needing a cordless mouse. When I first opened the box I thought that they had forgot to give me the key (small USB receiver called a dongle) for my computer. However they had tucked it in the compartment wear the batteries are.

I have been using a M510 mouse at work for years and it has never failed me. The batteries last a long time, and it works good on most surfaces. I purchased this one for home that my wife uses because I really miss the forward and backward buttons and now, she is sold on them.

Had to replace an earlier logitech after 4 years because it was acting erratically. This unit is a step up from the one we had, but it is well worth the couple of bucks more I spent on it. Comfortable to use, and the shortcuts for scrolling and recalling previous page is very handy.

Love this mouse! This is my 4th one but only one was replaced because the wheel wore out. All of the others were my fault.
