Excellent suction, easy to assemble, and conveniently located tools. I really like the variability of this vacuum. Lots of great options including telescoping wand, convenient handle on canister for cleaning stairs or curtains, retractable cord, the canister handle is separate from the bag/ hose entry, and the option of wand of floor. The only reasons I cannot give 5 stars is because the hook for the wand doesn’t hold the wand well and the floor portion must be detached in order to store the wand in the slot. You have to use two hands to extend the telescoping wand. The other thing I don’t like is the wand in the floor part is top heavy and falls over ALL the time. Finally, I’ve only had this vacuum a couple of months but the telescoping button sticks so it will slide out of place on its own. Love the versatility and suction but the item could use some improvements.

I am a BIG Kenmore fan and this Kenmore Pet-Friendly Pop-N-Go2 with UltraPlush Canister is quite an invention! Although this vacuum has similar performance features to previous models (including 2-motor system, check bag indicator, variable power control, etc), there's been a major upgrade to the nozzle which has always been one area for improvement. The Ultra Plush Vents for up to 32% easier push/pull on ultra plush carpets made carpet cleaning A LOT easier. In addition, the headlight, in addition, to brush roll on/off switch has made floor cleaning experience a lot of fun, convenient and easy. In addition to the nozzle itself, the hose length increased to 7', allowing for larger area coverage—and the extendable telescoping wand and stair grip has made it easier to carry around this 25 lb gadget around the house. Something that's really neat is the usage of horsehair for dusting brush as well as the inclusion of long crevice tool in the set. I would highly recommend this item to those that are looking for a vacuum for carpet cleaning. Kenmore Pet-Friendly Pop-N-Go2 with UltraPlush Canister will not let you down! This is my third Kenmore canister vacuum in 30 years. This particular model is the least expensive with fewer features. Overall, it is great. The bare floor attachment is too small but the corner design is lovely. The brush attachment is poorly designed and the bristles are so soft that they don't get into crevices. The snap on tool holder is cheaply designed. The power button on the main housing is inconvenient and difficult for those of us with balance and back issues. The power button was on the wand on both of my old models. There is no telescoping option on the wand so reaching ceilings is impractical. \nOther than the diminished features that this model has, it was affordable and the cleaning power is fantastic. \nI'm not disappointed, just wish it had a few more better thought out features.

Being a fan of canister vacuums all my life, when it came time to purchase a new one I came across the KENMORE Pet Friendly Pop-N-Go UltraPlush Bagged Canister Vacuum Cleaner online and decided to give it a try.After taking it out of the box I noticed it was smaller than my previous Kenmore. I was able to assemble it in less than 10 minutes. Once I turned it on, I could feel the power instantly. It had no problem sucking up all the crumbs, dirt, hair and the dog hair upon dog hair that I never knew that could possibly come off a 23lb. puggle. The base of the powermate also swivels which makes it easier to turn. It comes with all the basic attachments that normally comes with a canister vacuum plus a mini pet powermate for stairs and furniture, all conveniently stored on top of the canister. As far as the bag, it comes with a cloth HEPA bag and filtration, but if you choose the type C paper bags also fit this vacuum. At first it did seem a bit louder than my old one but it may just be my imagination. In my opinion it is well worth the price tag and anticipate I will have it for years to come.

Amazing good looking Kenmore canister vacuum cleaner. Best looking vac I have owned. So nice, I hate to hide it in the closet. We have two adult Beagles that shed like crazy. In the house and even worse in my crew cab pickup truck. After unpacking the 26 pound heavy box, I used it right away. Not only did it suck up the pet hair on the wood floors, it did an amazing job on the carpets. You could feel the carpet lift from the powerful suction. Next test was my truck with black interior. The included attachments were put to good use. No more driving around with pet hair blowing in my face every time I lower the windows. This Kenmore pet vac picked up hard to remove pet hair like it was loose dust. The 26 foot long cord helps to reach several rooms without unplugging the cord. It is great for reaching under the beds as well. The vac comes with a one year warranty but this vac feels so well built, I don't think I will even need it. The hose is not flimsy either. So far, the best vac we ever owned and we would highly recommend buying one. Check out the attached photos.

I'm hoping my review will help others in my situation. I have rheumatoid arthritis and the carpets in my home are high pile. It is challenging to push nearly any regular vacuum across our floors. I had done lots of research and the results kept pointing me toward the WAY more expensive German brand. They sell it at our local vacuum shop...I tried it...I cannot say it was worth the $1200 price tag. Finally in m6 search I discovered this Kenmore, and it is eerily similar to the expensive canister vac. Right down to the color! The Kenmore was so easy to put together, and even on my bad days I can easily handle this gem. The suction is adjustable and it glides over my high pile carpet while still cleaning very well. I have never owned a canister vacuum before, so it takes some getting used to having something drag behind you as you clean. When I grabbed my upright, however, I realized just how much easier the canister style is on my joints.

I had a Dyson and was extremely disappointed with it. It didn't clean that great and using the attachments required a engineering degree to use. It was always a struggle...\nBut this Kenmore has been great. Powerful suction, easy to use attachments, plus I like that it has bags... I know the trend is for no bags but I think it's so much cleaner to dump a bag instead of cleaning out the non bag version. Seriously! I also am able to control the suction power so am able to vacuum throw rugs. Something I could not do with the Dyson... Plus I can clean up cat hair! Yay! I'm glad I bought this Kenmore...

This is my third Kenmore canister vacuum in 45 years. I noticed immediately that it doesn't seem like it'll hold up as well ex: the plastic detachment handle on the bottom is pretty loose and flimsy. The hose is very stiff (maybe it'll soften over time) which makes maneuvering a bit hard. The hoses on my other two swiveled making it easy to move around. It does have great suction, it's lightweight, has a retractable cord and it's easy to switch tools (my daughter had a model that you had to unplug part of the cord to switch which was a bit annoying). All in all, it seems fine for the price paid.

Works great! Love the power. It can adjust the power so the suction can change . Love the fan sweeper - can get the dust off easily. \nThe accessories does not fit the universal size because of the inner diameter for the attachments. This one is bigger and can only buy as a Kenmore brand. I wanted to buy a round brush which does not come w the vacuum cleaner and unable to find it because of the fit.\nCannot find the fan sweeper attachment to buy as a replacement. Kenmore doesn't even have a part number for this.\nI did not give a 5 star rating because of the accessories.

I've had this vaccum for a couple weeks now and so far, so good. I have 2 long-haired cats that she'd a lot of hair, so I need a vacuum that can keep up. The variable suction and powered motor head are great. It has all the onboard tools you need for different cleaning scenarios. The biggest issue I have is with the cord length which needs to be longer. I live in an older house where power outlets are not plentiful. Overall, this vacuum does a great job and is fairly easy to use.

Have used this vacuum now for couple months. It has nice features and suction seems pretty decent but less than our high-end model. I really like the extra attachments that come conveniently included within the canister housing. The couch handheld brush attachment works really well and helped clean some built up soiling on our couch. I have already looked for replacement bags that seem to run around $11 per package. Overall decent vacuum with the Kenmore history.

I really love this vacuum, gets into tight places, great power, not too loud, compact and lightweight…..but, this is the third one I've had to purchase. First one lost suction around the base hose and the second ones wand/handle won't stay in place, slides down to the shortest length wile using. Also the bare floor attachment continually falls off while in use. I hope this one lasts awhile longer. Shrinkflation/not made like the old days. ?

I grew up using the Kenmore vacuum at homes that my mom would clean as a housekeeper. Various homes had different vacuum cleaners and my preferred to use were Kenmore canister vacuums they are very versatile to go under beds, furniture, stairs. and tended to do the best work. As long as bags were not overfilled. Kenmore vacuums would clean the best with the least amount of dust causing system. With the use of both the HEPA filter and a HEPA vacuum bags I believe they would even improve air quality in the cleaned rooms. For Over 35 years I have purchased three different Kenmore vacuums. I will continue purchasing them as they improve on models. Thank you for constructing a quality vacuum.

I liked this vacuum I did not like the price. I paid 249.00 plus tax while this same vacuum was priced on your list 209.00! I believe it was just an oversight or did the price was decreased. I would like you to correct this and adjust the price to 209.00. There is another way - I return this and buy for 209.00. Sincerely. Laima Aleksa

I had a similar Kenmore that lasted for many years. Motor outlasted the rest of it. On this one I could have paid more for the swivel feature, and wish that this model did have it. Makes it so much easier to clean. Overall I wish more parts were not plastic. Also hope I can find paper bag replacements instead of what came with it.

Always preferred a canister vacuum, particularly a Kenmore to the other vacuums. Had one for years and years before the power head finally failed. It couldn't be fixed since it was so old [took it in after being delegated to the back closet for a few extra years]. Have an upright Shark and it is only good for large open areas like the living room, while I need one to get in nooks and crannies full of dust bunnies.\nIt has most of the needed attachments [can use the ones from the old vacuum] and the suction once again tries to eat my carpet. Wouldn't trade it for a cordless; just not enough power in those.

I have a Siberian husky who blows her coat multiple times a year. Her hair has burned up at least five vacuum cleaners. With the double motor that the 600 series has it is so powerful in picking up her hair and not getting clogged. Beating out all of the name brand Vacuums on the market.

I love my Kenmore's ! I had a Kenmore Canister that lasted for 18 years. I was sad when it finally gave up. It always kept my floors looking stunning!\nI looked a stick and found them too heavy on my hands, plus you have no idea how long the battery will last so, I stayed with my canister. I purchased the Pop-N-Go series and I must say, it is awesome! All the new features such as the pop and go attachment, Pet Power Mate, retractable extension cord, and the wand extension to fit my height so perfectly. I would highly recommend a canister and never have to worry how long the battery will last.

I am an older person with significant arthritis in my hands. This wonderful vacuum was just too much for me. Too large, heavy and awkward. A strong younger person would handle it fine. But, alas I am in the process of returning it as I realize I will not be able to use it regularly.

This is a heavy duty vacuum. I had a Kenmore cannister previously and this one is a bit larger and heavier. It works great but is heavier than I am used to. The telescoping handle is very convenient to use. The attachment for furniture works great on getting the cat hair off!

Love the color, lightweight and long cord for convenience. This is my sixth kenmore vacuum cleaner and we shall see how long it lasts. Have had 200 series in the past and it didnt last 2 months so we will try this 400 series. Suction is quite impressive for a small canister vac.

I Noticed right away how solidly built it was, Thick plastic and metal can withstand an occasional bump at the base of furniture. Suction is more than adequate. So far the only problem I have is the storage hook does not function. Still I would purchase the product again

all the attachments fit right into the unit. very easy to snap/click together, so easy to use, beautiful. great suction, already used it, absolutely love my vacuum cleaner. and the purple color is so pretty. \nif I have to put any kind of negativity at all it would be because of myself, it is a heavy vacuum cleaner. however it's okay, the wheels are easy and it's easy to maneuver. just be patient with it if you have limitations like I do. otherwise it's great I love all of it, it exceeded my expectations. I am so glad I purchased this. thank you.

Best vacuum for the "older set." Suction is GREAT! It is light weight and easy to move about. I love the individual attachments, telescoping wand, nice long cord. That said, it is so lightweight because much of the operation is made of plastic. This is the 5th Kenmore Canister I have owned. I'd strayed from purchasing these as most parts of made of plastic making them prone to breaking. However when I paid more for a heavier duty Simplicity vacuum that cost about $200 more, I found it had electrical problems and didn't last much longer.

I bought this vac a few weeks ago and it's turned out to be exactly what I wanted. I prefer canister vacs because a lot of what I need is NOT carpet, But the powerhead with this unit works really well on the deep pile carpet that I do have. I have used bagless vacs in the past and don't care for them. This is a dual-filter vac (bag + HEPA filter for discharge air), and I'd say it works really, really well. I love everything about this vac. Great attachments, light weight, long cord with auto retraction, reasonable sound level. Great vac!!

PROS: retractable cord, ease of changing attachments, good suction\nCONS: hose is stiff and doesn't swivel like my previous canisters, handle pulls to the left, I liked the attachments storage better inside the canister
