The door looks great, however the finish scratches easily. I also do not like the etched in wording in each pane of glass, ruins the aesthetics.

We bought this door a month ago and upon install noticed paint peeling in several spots. We like the door but the quality of the paint is a concern. We reached out to the company and were told to submit an email to the warranty department and they would respond within 48 hours. That was over a week ago. We are still waiting to know what can be done to resolve this issue.

Purchased this door to replace a steel one that had outlived it's life cycle. The door was extremely high quality and provided an instant upgrade over the one it replaced. The installation was easy, even given the fact that it was being installed in a 112 year old structure with 1.5' thick walls. The fiberglass construction provides great heat resistance given our door faces the South West. The frosted glass provided great light transmission with outstanding privacy. Well crated shipping.

The door I purchased was overpriced and poorly constructed, especially for the cost. Once installed, there was a significant gap on both sides between the door and the bottom seal. Although a technician was sent to address the issue, the problem actually worsened after their adjustments. Initially, the surface quality seemed fine, but I’ve since received no follow-up response. Now that winter has arrived, the issue is even more inconvenient. Find a different door for price.

I really love my new door. I been looking at doors for about 4 years now and just second guessing myself about ordering a door that I could not see in person, but I read reviews and I could not be happier.

Great looking door as far as aesthetics. Heavy, and solid, just what we were looking for in an exterior front door.\n\nSome downsides, the door was dinged up in several places. The trim and door both had visual marks. Home Depot was kind enough to return some of our money. The weather stripping had tears in some places, and the door itself had a couple what looked like raised glue pieces. \n\nNot a bad purchase, but would definitely recommend they get ahold of their shipping and quality teams on the damage.

Purchased the Autumn Wheat color, had it installed a couple of weeks ago and the paint is already peeling off. It is not just peeling in one spot that sees friction, but along the sides and around the windows. It seems that the manufacturer forgot the primer?? The chipped paint makes the door look cheap.

This is good looking door. I will suggest to pay attention to frosted glass. This wasn’t and anyone can see in .

It looks great! Glass is frosted. Let’s in good light with full privacy. Gives a great transitional/mid century feel to the house. Only thing was there were a few flaws in the finish, but nothing that you’d see if you weren’t looking for it.

The crate started to fall apart upon receipt and caused some paint repair that was required

The finish quality on this door is unacceptable. There are multiple visible nail holes and dents along the vertical frame and at the corner joints. These are not subtle — they are clearly noticeable and were not properly filled, sanded, or finished before delivery.\n\nFor a brand-new door, this level of visible surface damage is disappointing and suggests very poor quality control. A finished product should not arrive with exposed nail marks and surface dents.\n\nI expected a clean, professionally manufactured door. Instead, it looks like rushed workmanship and incomplete finishing.\n\nI would not recommend this product based on the quality I received.

The design and quality of the door are great, but the paint finish is disappointing, it began peeling almost immediately. Unfortunately, not worth the money.

Bought the unfinished slab, which was easy to paint. Door did not come with hinges or sweep but called Steve’s & Son’s customer service and they shipped them out promptly. The windows are frosted and let in just the right amount of light. So happy with this purchase and with S&S customer service.

I bought a 42 X 80 wheat a couple of months ago and looks great installed. It comes with touch up paint to cover up the scratches from installation. I love the texture of the fiberglass and it comes packaged really well. Very protected.

You'd think for the price of this door it would be good quality, but it arrived to my local store with multiple scratches and imperfections. If you're going to buy this item, I'd suggest having it delivered to the store to inspect before bringing it home.

Nice door, but when I installed the handle and lock today, i realized that the bore holes are not standard and the bolt does not close the door. Very disappointing at this price point.

The wrong door configuration was delivered. Had to return and reorder. Fingers crossed it's actually built with the correct specs this time.
