I have had my machines about a year and a half. I have had absolutely no issues until recently one of the dryer drums cracked. How does that happen to a steel drum? I haven’t the foggiest idea. I do have extended warranties for both, a tech was sent out within a few days and diagnosed it within a minute of looking inside the dryer. He told me they would replace the drum. A few days later I received a call that they would be replacing the entire machine, my guess is you would have to disassemble the entire housing to swap the drum out, which would be too expensive. More expensive than a whole new machine apparently. I’m not going to complain. I do a ton of laundry, and both of my machines have heavy use every week. I clean them as directed, wash lint traps, wipe seals and run washer cleaner through them regularly, pull the drawers and clean them, empty the filter at the bottom, etc. and have never had a problem with smell or mold. Pulling them out to clean behind and under them is a task as they are heavy, mine are on sliders for this reason, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to get them to budge. I would buy these machines again and again, the capacity is great, they don’t take too long to run cycles and there is a cycle for everything. I wish they made pedestals for them as the washer is a little low to bend down into, I’m not sure why LG hasn’t done this yet, but if they do I will certainly buy them for my machines. I would recommend them and also recommend the warranty company through Home Depot, my claim was handled very quickly.

What little bit that I have used it, it's done really well and is an attractive unit...what sold me on it was a Queen size comforter fits in it...the digital display is impressive but I think I personally would have liked using dials better, with the option to have more control over the dry time & heat level. I have not tried the Steam option yet. The lights inside the tub, of both, only come on at the end of the cycle for a short time...I would like to see the light stay on through the whole wash cycle and dry time. One thing was a little distrubing to me, the top of the unit didn't look like the rest of tower...they didn't cover it (picture attached to show top of unit). When washing & drying is running, it's a lot more quiet than my last set...very nice!

My previous frontload LG set fit- comfortably. After multiple measurements and extensive research, I have found that all the new machines are bigger than the ones I had. There was no way I was going to risk getting a new set in hopes that it would magically fit. Nope. This washer tower was an a great alternative. Even better. The machines fits nicely with room on top to spare AND the capacity is bigger. I love the wifi function and notifications for when the loads are done. When you live in a TRI level home with the washroom on the first floor, it\u2019s nice not to have to go up and down stairs to check how much time is left. I can just pull up my app and check the time on. I also like that I can start a load via the app in case I need it to be \u201cdelayed\u201d but I just recently discovered that delayed start is a feature in the app! So awesome. Not that I\u2019ll use it much but it\u2019s nice to know that it\u2019s there. A feature that I found kind of cool was that the dryer automatically selects the setting you used in the wash. If I was using the bedding settings in the washer, the dryer selects that when it turns on. Kind of neat. And my absolute favorite of all. The color. That red is FIRE.

I've had this washtower for two weeks and like it. It replaced a full sized Whirlpool washer and driver that stacked in a closet under a stair well. This LG washtower is the same full size for washer and driver portions but is about 2 inches narrower and a bit shorter in height. I like being able to store some light supplies on the top and on the floor in front of the unit. Operation of the unit is not straightforward, so you'll want to read the owner's manual. There are preset wash cycle...

I am very pleased with this washer and dryer that I bought 6 months ago. It has a very sleek look. I like that it has a large space for a queen comforter. I was able to wash 3 pillows inside. It can fit 4 but I don't want to overdo it. This is a one piece washer & dryer, no need for brackets to attached together. It fits in our small condo. The only con is it doesn't dry the clothes that much specially bulky items. I have to add another 10-20 mins quick dry. But all in all it's a good buy.

Only had this installed for a month now but first impressions are positive. Seems to clean well, much faster than our top loader commercial washer we replaced. Conversely the gas dryer is a bit slower in drying than the commercial model, but I'm hoping that the heat cycle will be better in the long run for our clothes. Ample cycle selection and my wife does enjoy the custom welcome screens I put on for her. Only time will tell, but at first glance it seems to be a good purchase.

If you're reading this, hopefully you already did you due diligence and noted from other reviews that despite the site's description, this stack requires a 110 and a 220 outlet. Fortunately we caught that before the contractor was done with electric! Our first delivery came damaged from the last-mile carrier and it took a couple weeks for the new one. I wish to buy this WashTower with very good average rating. I have owned another LG appliance for over 10 years so I am a satisfied LG customer. But this WashTower is not deigned to reverse the doors to open on the left instead as designed on the right side. While I am still in the market for a stacked washer and dryer - I hope soon LG can redesign their WashTower with reversible doors.

We have had our new washer/dryer unit for several months and so far it's been great. Love how easy it is to use. Only complaint so far is since we bought the green unit, I've noticed the paint has chipped on the front of the dryer where clothes hit it when transferring it from the washer to dryer. It very small, but disappointing. Otherwise they have been great.

We purchased this stacked washer dryer unit to replace the late 90s separate washer and dryer units in our laundry room as part of an over hall and remodeling project. Moving to a stacked washer dryer unit allowed us to free up much more cabinet and counter space for our laundry room. Our WKEX200HBA stacked washer dryer unit is infinitely more efficient than the units we were replacing and does a much better job at thoroughly cleaning and drying our clothes. We have a household of four and a lot of different types of laundry to be done; the WKEX200HBA handles everything we throw at it easily, no matter how dirty. With a multitude of temperature and care settings available, we know that every type of clothing is well cared for. Additionally, we do appreciate the Wi-Fi enabled functions as well, particularly the notifications when loads are done (especially handy when you have teenagers in the house who start laundry and then promptly forget about it.) we would highly recommend the WKEX200HBA to anyone looking for a new washer and dryer.More

Overall I like this wash tower very well. I have had it a few weeks and still trying to learn all the different wash/dry options - a bit confusing and not so simple as just turning on/off. I love the large drum in both the washer and dryer. It is a very sleek and attractive appliance and does not take up much room in my wash/dry closet.More

I LOVE my LG WashTower!!! It is the best investment I have purchased in a very long time! I'm the type of person who does not believe everything they read and have to try it for themselves to prove how it works. I thought it would be wonderful to have a short wash cycle, possibly to shorten all my wash loads, so I tried an experiment of using the short cycle for a load of quite dirty clothes. WRONG! I was then convinced, as it was written in the manual, to use it for a smaller load of lightly dirty clothes, and it worked fantastically!! I have tried many of the different options and I totally agree with the suggestions offered in the manual. The dryer part of the WashTower is a work of wonderment! Again I optioned to try drying a load of bedding sheets, on high, for a long time and they came out wrinkled. So washed them again and used the suggested cycle for drying and they came out of the dryer PERFECT! Hardly any wrinkles!If you follow the suggested washing and drying cycles you will love this WashTower as much as I do!!!

I've had this washer and dryer for about 8 months. I do 1-3 loads of laundry everyday. It's much quieter then my old Samsung, and it seems to wash faster as well. In the last month it has been leaking out of the front door on the occasion . so far 4xs. I can't figure out why but this is a complete inconvenience .

It's a great combo does a great job works well the only down part is the actual manufacture craftsmanship as they rust and in some case cause problems with access to utilities of the washer but I will not blame that on the machine as it continues to work I will just blame it on LG for their lack of foresight

Generally, the unit does a great job of cleaning and drying laundry. I wish I could change the side of the hinge, I.e., reverse the door. Also, it would be nice to have an optional stand to raise the unit up a little. It is pretty low to the ground.

This machine was working great no problems. 18 months and 5 days it blew up. The washer exploded put a hole in my wall and shot plastic and water everywhere. I called LG to let them know and was told I should have purchased the extended warranty.

In our last home, we enjoyed using a front load LG washer and dryer for many years. The home we moved into two years ago came with an old style top load washer and dryer with limited features. We have known that we had an option to install laundry equipment in an upstairs area by our bedrooms (roughed in to receive it), but the space would only accept a stacked installation. The problem with that was the inconvenient access to the dryer controls by my vertically challenged wife (5'). We were delighted when we discovered the LG Washtower model that places controls for both machines in the middle. We've had it installed for a couple of weeks now, and absolutely love everything about it. While our main reason for choosing the Washtower was the location of the controls, we are wowed by so many other advancements including the amazing communication between machines. We are happy to be cheerleaders for LG!More

We retired, moved, and left our old washer and dryer with the home we sold. After some addition construction in our north woods weekend home turned permanent home, we turned a small bedroom into a laundry area and half bath so decided to go with a stackable washer and dryer as the laundry space was limited. We did our research and decided on the the LG WKEX300HBA and am really happy we did. We absolutely love our new unit. The instructions and display are easy to follow, has a wide variety of features to use, and is really quiet. Above all, it cleans and dries wonderfully. Our contractor tried it out when he had it installed and even he and his workers were impressed with the looks of it and the ease of use. And now, even my husband is helping with the laundry. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a stackable laundry center. Thank you LG for a top-notch product!

This washer has a nice appearance and has multiple features for either washing or drying that you choose from. I'm not sure if this product qualifies for tax credit!

Leveling the machine is problematic because of the total weight. Did my best on a hardwood floor but the washer still "thunders" during rinse cycles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wash tower is a excellent choice I had two appliances taking up space this gave me enough room for a clothes folding table and nice laundry soap storage\n\nI have had a few washing machines over the last 35 years this one by far gives you the most clean clothes I've ever had come out of any washer by a long shot they smell good without scented detergents I use plant based detergents for my septic system and no fabric softners..I like that your phone alerts you clothes are washed and dried and you can even turn it off and on with your phone..The dryer is good but for some reason doing bedding I have to run on very dry to ensure my comforter has no damp spots when the dry cycle is complete..\nIf your on the fence I wouldn't hesitate to buy again very quiet very nice and efficient

Like the big capacity of this machine. I'm able to wash my large comforters and get them clean without having to go to the laundromat
