I like to shave every day and this razor has made that job effortless. The bright orange handle is made out of rubber and is comfortable to hold. It is also textured, so it is easy to grip. This means no slipping from my hand when my razor is wet. I like that the handle is weighted so it sits nicely in my hand. The head is extremely flexible, and moves smoothly with the contour of my face and neck. There is even a lubricating strip above the blades, so the razor can glide more easily. The blades can be rinsed when finished shaving. The blade cartridge is easy to remove by simply pressing the light gray part of the handle upward. When you are ready to replace the head, the new blade cartridge just snaps onto the handle. I like that they have even enclosed a travel case to keep my blades safe while not in use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to complete my shave in one downward motion rather than having to follow-up with a second "upward shave" as I usually have to for smoothness. I usually am prone to cuts as well, but not with this razor! I comes with 2 blade cartridges which have 5 blades each and lubricating strip I also includes a ventilated travel head cover to protect the blades. I really like the orange handle because makes it easy to find in a drawer and has a very nice grip. The only thing it seems to lack is a wear strip so you know when to replace the blade. This will be my new go-razor for sure!

I bought two Truman Kits for two different men right before Christmas and there was a mix up. I called customer service right away and explained my situation and they were wonderful. They listen to my problem and then were very empathetic and professional about my situation. They made sure I was able to get the correct product before Christmas and that I was pleased with the overall outcome. As for the product both of the guys said they like the razors and that they noticed less redness and bumps since using them. They also commented that they like the overall appearance and sleekness of the product in comparison to the other razors being sold in stores.

This box comes with 2 blades, the razor and the blade cover. The blade cover is a great idea - the blades stay clean and away from water so they don't rust and you can set it wherever. The blade pivots, so it's easy to use on my face. There are five blades in the cartridge and they get right up to the skin and provide a smooth shave. I will buy some more cartridges and continue to use this razor.

After buying a metal-handled one for myself earlier in the year (2015), I bought four with the plastic handle to give for Christmas. Since we are now angry at one of the potential recipients, I kept hers for myself (yes, hers. Harry's needs to expand it's demographic to include women--these are the best razors ever). Now I have two.The verdict: the plastic handles are much better--less slippery in a soapy shower, and not cold to the touch before your hand warms it up. I am reminded of equestrians who are thoughtful enough to warm the bit in their hands before inserting it into a horse's mouth.

Too expensive to buy the store brand blades. When you see the store blades in a container with something that will sound an alarm you have a wake up call that maybe you are paying too much. I briefly went to using a straight razor but one day I was in a rush and managed to give myself quite a bad cut. So Harry's to the rescue. The blades last longer than the store bought ones ; they give a really nice shave and way less expensive. I might stock up on them because I fear one of the store brand companies might buy Harry's if they get too popular. Also good customer service!

I go through one blade per month. Can you imagine out proficient that is? People use throw away blades every few days to per week. I like the concept, the handle and all that. I get a good shave, ut I do wonder about the quality. Part of the problem might be my fault, am not sure. Oddly, my right side of the face seems to shave marvelously, very close, while the left is not quite as good. Might be an issue with the angle I hold the razor at. Furthermore, I do not get a very good shave under my nose above the mouth, and some trouble on the chin as well. Overall I will stick with it for a while and work the issues.

It's weighted pretty well and has a nice button on the top that pops the razor blade off so you don't have to worry about pulling it off and cutting yourself. Putting a new clip back in is easy too. The only issue I have is that the part that is meant to help travel with the blade broke really easily and wasn't able to be put together again - see photo. I don't really use this piece ever so I don't mind but something to keep in mind if you do.

I purchased some of these Harry's Shave Razors as gifts for some of the men in my life a few years ago and they loved them. I was getting ready to buy some blades for my lady's shaver recently which was not a Harry's Shaver and thought wow the blades are so expensive! I decided to give Harry's a try since they were much more reasonably priced. I've been using a while now and they work great for me, will be buying more. Ladies don't let the name Harry's keep you from buying these wonderful razors for far less than you have been paying.

Took a chance on this because my other razor and blades just kept going up and shave didn't seem as close anymore. I really thought about how much i hate change and dreaded in buying something that might be worse and then i wasted money in doing so. After 4 shaves i feel this is The Best Razor i ever used. Sharp blades and cuts smooth. Can hear the blades cutting whiskers cleanly with ease. The trim blade works just as good for hard to shave spots under the nose. Will buy again without a doubt.

I am relatively new to Harry's blades. The razor and blades are outstanding! The closest shave I have had vs the other well known brands. I do like Harry's shaving gel however I prefer the Suavecito products I have used in the past with my new razor. Harry's blades tend to keep their sharpness longer than the competitors blades which came as a surprise to me. I do recommend ordering in bulk as it will be the best value and change the blades every 4-6 shaves to get the closest shave.

My husband received a razor (Truman) with free blades and he liked it so much that I bought one for myself. The handle is nice and solid, I even dropped mine and it did not break. The blades are good for the price, although the moisturizing strip could be a bit better, especially for the ladies. I do realize this product is geared more for men, but a no slip handle would be nice too- for when we are doing that silly shower yoga we have to do. Overall, great product for the price!

I'm in my 50's thus my beard is greying and becoming stiff. I needed a change from most over-the-shelf options. I did my research and tried a few high-end razor options.
