I got this with the intention of gifting it to a friend, however the tree began to die within three days of purchase. I’m an avid bonsai tree collector and unfortunately was unable to save this tree. The growth medium was so tight, all peat moss, that the roots were rotted due to not being able to drain. I think this tree was in the store for too long of a period. Cute plant but came with a ton of those little flying gnats. Used powder and those little sticky traps and it's still not enough. I wouldn't choose this plant again but we're trying to keep this little guy alive while we deal with the 100,000 little flies.

Disappointed in the bonsai ficus because: it didn’t resemble the picture of what I ordered and the packaging, as described below. As a retired florist, I'm always looking for unique plants. This bonsai from Costa is very cool, in fact I bought a second one for my brother who loves plants too. They are both doing well and look great after 4 months. I purchase all of my live plants from Costa Farms because I have had fantastic luck with them. I definitely recommend both Costa Farms and this bonsai of theirs.

This mini bonsai plant is so adorable and easy to grow. It's small but it's very calming to look at and it's so cute. I'm learning that it doesn't need much water or like to get too wet. I having sitting with other plants under a plant light. It's one of my favorite plants.

The plants are lovely. I gave one as a housewarming gift and kept the 2nd one. Unfortunately, the buyer is not told WHAT the plant is, only that it was a bonsai version (that is, miniaturized). So I had to do some research to find out what I had. I thought perhaps it was an elephant foot tree because of the trunk, but it's not a palm, so I'm back to square 1 trying to discover what my plant actually is! It would definitely help if the supplier said what kind of bonsai it is.

Even though my delivery driver delivered it UPSIDE-DOWN, the plant was packaged so securely that not even soil leaked out. I highly recommend this seller. Their care of this plant was magnificent.
