It's just all right. The measurements are of the outside edge of the facing, So the flame area is smaller than I thought. It's really meant to be inserted into a wall and not just hung as I have done. Since I surfaced mounted the fireplace it sticks out over four inches from the wall. (See photos) It's not terrible. The heater works great. Getting the flames to look more like flames in nature is hard to achieve. But is kind of cool. Just a bit clunky. I like it enough not to send it back. I think I might like it a lot better if I was able to install it into the wall as it suggests in the installation instructions. The timer function great. Pros: Compact, good heat, price point, pretty easy to install. Cons: Needs to be installed into the wall rather than surface mounted. Flame color choices are okay. The black outside frame is really large. (the black around the fireplace) Summary: This is a pretty nice little fireplace. Great price point. You need to fully understand what the size proportions are before buying. Just realize that the fireplace window is about 20% smaller than the black glass frame is. You might want to go one size bigger when buying. Less

Beautiful fireplace. I'd recommend to anyone looking to add great ambiance to the room. We haven't used/tested the heat element as we're not moved into the home yet (new build) - so I can't say how well it heats a certain sized area. The options for crystal colors, flame colors, flame height, flame/crystal brightness is outstanding. Has a main off on switch tucked into an inconspicuous spot, plus has hidden controls on the glass front & a remote. This product is a great value for the money.More

The cutest electric fireplace that really puts out the HEAT, too. It changes colors and flame height and has a fan that has a timer so you don’t need to worry about turning it off. The high tech controls are right on the screen, and it also comes with a remote. It’s not hot to the touch, so we don’t worry about the littles when they put the hands on it. Love this foreplace and what it has done to transfer our master bedroom. Looks great on the wall and kicks off a good amount of heat when needed. Love the variability of the flames and colors. Onlybwish is that the remote werent so flims y. Feels like its going to break just pressing a button. The fireplace is currently being installed. After dry testing it, everything [heat, fire styles, etc...] seems to work as described. There are small complaints. One being that the electrical cord extends from the side [Right] instead of the back. As a result, we had to carve out the stud to accommodate that. Also, the remote requires direct trajectory to work. I can tell more on it after installation is complete. More

But let me tell you Wayfair customer service is the best in the whole entire world. They addressed the issue immediately. Sent me another fireplace ASAP I was stunned with customer service. Is pretty, quiet, and produces about as much heat as you can get from a 15 amp circuit. The only issue we have is that the lighting effects do not extend all the way out to the edges of the fireplace. It seems like they took the same inner components from the 68in model and just stuffed them into the 72in model, leaving about 2-3in on each side which are not well illuminated. Less

This fireplace is a game changer!!!! It comes equipped so that you wont have a problem trying to find the studs in your walls. The heat output is nice and cozy. And it can heat up an entire bedroom in about 5 mins. It took half an hour to install. The remote control didnt come with AAA batteries, so youll have to purchase them separately. The best fireplace with various colors, timer, other settings on remote but best of all, it takes in air from front and gives\nHeat on front, unlike others that take air from back or sides or below and give heat above or below, so they need openings on the side, below or above and need deflectors to give heat on front-a major I pain point. The fireplace fits exactly how I wanted it to right underneath my 65 inch screen television. The assembly was a little quirky but it all came together. Also it is somewhat noisy but it doesn't bother me, I am happy with it and the item feels of substantial quality I've only had it about 2 months so we shall see how well.it hold up.More

This is a beautiful accent that we put under our 77” large screen TV. It makes us feel so cozy when we have it in our family room. Perfect size for my small wall that I converted. Did not need to build out the wall out much due to the smaller depth. I am not in love with the crystals and the flames are not very bright, but I seem to have found the right setting for it it to seem somewhat realistic. Heats up the room also! More
