Hi all. Bought this for a New PC I am currently building. This version is on one of my current PCs. I give it 4 Stars as it seems to be stable. I just Wish Microsoft would stop sending me ads for Office 365. And my Major complaint is, A lot of the older Programs (MS Money) and Games (MechWarrior Series) don't work.

It's an OEM copy of Windows 10 - no end user support. As long as you understand that, it will provide a copy of Windows 10 for a machine that isn't eligible for the free upgrade.

I had to scrub all my files before it would let me replace expired OS with licensed OS

Needs an active Windows serial to use.

This is really a system builder version of Windows 10; you basically will want only to keep your data files and blow out the apps. If can't do one without the other, just back-up your data/doc files and reload on new install. Best to load from DVD at system start-up on a scrubbed machine, but not necessary to scrub it. Expect to use a ton of broadband in downloading updates with Windows 10; I blew thru 50 GB on two machines in two months. Best to download April 2018 version of 1803 as an ISO file using Media Creation Tool from Microsoft site, and then load on all your machines with specific product keys. If you have a flashing screen during install process, it maybe IDT High Definition Audio driver that seems to even give cloning software a hard time. Had problem with product key, ... I replaced the disk drive on a Windows Vista laptop with a new disk drive. Just unscrew it from\nthe bottom and it will just pop out. Purchase a similar or larger size disk drive and pop it back\ninto the connector. Put back the screws and you're ready to load the Windows 10 disk.\nJust follow the instructions on loading the program disk and before you know it, you have \nalmost a brand new computer. Not too hard to do. Save yourself the price of buying a new\nlaptop.

Windows were activated from a link within Windows, which requested the product-key. Windows were not activated by calling Microsoft.\n\n4. Windows 10, runs a lot slower than Windows 7. Easy install, but the computer I use is 20 years old, but they still work with this window 10 the only issue I had a problem with since the Microsoft change to activated, but I got it to activate it so it to make it legal. it ran fine, but the PC is little slow, but that's OK. At least my neighbor can have it a laptop yes I recommend it with no tan. Does work on your computers as long as you meet certain guideline on a memory.

I purchased this product to use on a fresh install of Windows to be used on an IMac. My prior version install disks simply wouldn't work and kept giving me errors of one sort or another. This gave me a fresh install to use and worked like a charm. I have not used this version, so there are some learning curves, but overall very happy with the product thus far.

The USB Microsoft uses is garbage. It inside is so tight that you have to force it into the USB ports, and it almost feels like you're going to damage your PC. I had to get a Samsung 64GB thumbdrive and the install over to it (using a USB dongle that I didnt mind destroying) so I could install windows without destroying my motherboard.

on a ten year old desk top with vista. It was a good laptop for its time cause it does have system requirements. Shut down computer and turn back on and push esc to get to boot menu put in usb and install from there just follow instructions in computer. May install from regular windows if later version.

Received Windows 10 and it was a genuine windows with activation key.\nHad to try to load it on a fresh computer a couple of times because I'd not changed a setting in the B550-F Asus motherboard. Changed BOOT Configuration from "Windows EUFI" to "OTHER" and everything loaded as it should.

Easy, peazy. Put the digitally delivered code in to authenticate and good to go. I was emailed the code within 30 minutes.\n\nThis is not the DVD, just the Windows 10 Key. This is for anyone who has the warning: "Windows 10 is not activated, will expire in XX days."\n\nHope this review helps.

backup your personal files. All programs will have to be re-installed from either your CD or re-download them. A clean install is the only way to use this version of Windows... it does save your old windows (if your installing over an older version) in the Windows.old folder

this operating system is better than windows 8 It puts you into the original screen as the operating systems before windows 8 came out when you start up your computer. I got so I can upgrade from windows 8 since it works a lot better and it is a big improvement

This is an oem microsoft product. Once I got the cmos and bios updated and configured right\n on the computer the instillation went smoothly. The shipping was slow, possibly due to the holiday mail.

My PC originally came with Win 8. Upgraded to Win 10 (free) a few months later al I got was the spinning Icon. Went to a PC repair place $300 later still broke. Ordered this reloaded and now it's ok.

Cheapest price at the time of purchase. It comes in CD version but you can, with the aid of a USB disc, still install on new computers that do not have an optical drive.

I didn't like that it couldn't link up to my xfinity internet. even the tech couldn't figure it out said it was a glimp in the disk!

It came with detail instruction for installation. Software package is most current version 22H2 that save your system update.

Was able to upgrade an old PC for an affordable price with this disc. Better than paying for Win 11 .

We had to update our computer from a 7 to a 10. It was very easy to do and our computer is so much better

The disc worked perfectly. I was able to format the hard drive and load the new Windows 10 onto it.
