What little bit that I have used it, it's done really well and is an attractive unit...what sold me on it was a Queen size comforter fits in it...the digital display is impressive but I think I personally would have liked using dials better, with the option to have more control over the dry time & heat level. I have not tried the Steam option yet. The lights inside the tub, of both, only come on at the end of the cycle for a short time...I would like to see the light stay on through the whole wash cycle and dry time. One thing was a little distrubing to me, the top of the unit didn't look like the rest of tower...they didn't cover it (picture attached to show top of unit). When washing & drying is running, it's a lot more quiet than my last set...very nice!

First unit I received was not good. The washing machine sounded like a turbo jet and it was just unbearable. Even after leveling, the unit bounced around and made so much noise. The dryer also would stop before my clothes were dry. I called BestBuy immediately and they sent out a replacement. The new unit work’s beautifully. It’s quiet and I have no issues so far. \n\nAnd just to clear up any confusion. The dryer DOES NOT come with a plug. Makes sense because they don’t know what kind of outlet you have. I have a 4 prong outlet and connected everything myself. The directions are right on the back of the dryer or look up a YouTube video. It’s a pretty straightforward install. Plug cost about $30 extra.

I have had my machines about a year and a half. I have had absolutely no issues until recently one of the dryer drums cracked. How does that happen to a steel drum? I haven’t the foggiest idea. I do have extended warranties for both, a tech was sent out within a few days and diagnosed it within a minute of looking inside the dryer. He told me they would replace the drum. A few days later I received a call that they would be replacing the entire machine, my guess is you would have to disassemble the entire housing to swap the drum out, which would be too expensive. More expensive than a whole new machine apparently. I’m not going to complain. I do a ton of laundry, and both of my machines have heavy use every week. I clean them as directed, wash lint traps, wipe seals and run washer cleaner through them regularly, pull the drawers and clean them, empty the filter at the bottom, etc. and have never had a problem with smell or mold. Pulling them out to clean behind and under them is a task as they are heavy, mine are on sliders for this reason, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to get them to budge. I would buy these machines again and again, the capacity is great, they don’t take too long to run cycles and there is a cycle for everything. I wish they made pedestals for them as the washer is a little low to bend down into, I’m not sure why LG hasn’t done this yet, but if they do I will certainly buy them for my machines. I would recommend them and also recommend the warranty company through Home Depot, my claim was handled very quickly.

My previous frontload LG set fit- comfortably. After multiple measurements and extensive research, I have found that all the new machines are bigger than the ones I had. There was no way I was going to risk getting a new set in hopes that it would magically fit. Nope. This washer tower was an a great alternative. Even better. The machines fits nicely with room on top to spare AND the capacity is bigger. I love the wifi function and notifications for when the loads are done. When you live in a TRI level home with the washroom on the first floor, it\u2019s nice not to have to go up and down stairs to check how much time is left. I can just pull up my app and check the time on. I also like that I can start a load via the app in case I need it to be \u201cdelayed\u201d but I just recently discovered that delayed start is a feature in the app! So awesome. Not that I\u2019ll use it much but it\u2019s nice to know that it\u2019s there. A feature that I found kind of cool was that the dryer automatically selects the setting you used in the wash. If I was using the bedding settings in the washer, the dryer selects that when it turns on. Kind of neat. And my absolute favorite of all. The color. That red is FIRE.

I live in a tiny condo with a tiny laundry closet. My old washer somehow lasted 14 years with several repairs and unclogging efforts but I knew it wasn't worth trying to repair it again. Unfortunately, there weren't really good options that were similar in size and I had no desire to have to go down in size and have to do twice as much laundry. I knew this would stick out of my laundry closet several inches past where the old ones were but for the size and features, I was willing to deal with it...

I've had this washtower for two weeks and like it. It replaced a full sized Whirlpool washer and driver that stacked in a closet under a stair well. This LG washtower is the same full size for washer and driver portions but is about 2 inches narrower and a bit shorter in height. I like being able to store some light supplies on the top and on the floor in front of the unit. Operation of the unit is not straightforward, so you'll want to read the owner's manual. There are preset wash cycle...

I am very pleased with this washer and dryer that I bought 6 months ago. It has a very sleek look. I like that it has a large space for a queen comforter. I was able to wash 3 pillows inside. It can fit 4 but I don't want to overdo it. This is a one piece washer & dryer, no need for brackets to attached together. It fits in our small condo. The only con is it doesn't dry the clothes that much specially bulky items. I have to add another 10-20 mins quick dry. But all in all it's a good buy.

Very nice machine. I have been using this for about one month and the machine is nice and quiet and gets the job done. I really like the app associated with the machine that reminds\r\nyou when to clean the tub and do different maintenance on the machine, it makes me feel like the product will last. As far as washing machines go it is also quite aesthetically pleasing which is a nice bonus. Overall I would recommend this machine to my friends or family based on my experience so far.

Only had this installed for a month now but first impressions are positive. Seems to clean well, much faster than our top loader commercial washer we replaced. Conversely the gas dryer is a bit slower in drying than the commercial model, but I'm hoping that the heat cycle will be better in the long run for our clothes. Ample cycle selection and my wife does enjoy the custom welcome screens I put on for her. Only time will tell, but at first glance it seems to be a good purchase.

This is a wonderful wash/dryer combo. Buy beware of LOWES's AI trying to make you buy items you don't need to install. The buyer must check on the features and gas pipe sizes before assuming that LOWES know the install items you need. They are just wanting to sell stuff. This dryer doesn't have a steam dry feature, but they will try to sell you an install water hose kit. GAS line inlet has three different kits you must get the correct one for your house.

Product is good but not compatible with new builds. \n\nThe new electric breakers and GFCI outlets prevent the machine from operating correctly when it uses hot water. It flips the breaker every time. This leaves the homeowner having to replace a safe GFCI outlet with a non-GFCI outlet or illegally modify the breaker box to operate the washer. I really like the u it but it has been an expensive issue to track down and resolve.

We are absolutely enjoying our new stacked front-loading washer and dryer. There are multi-options that meet and exceed our needs. From our delicates to our farming clothes, these units give us all that we need. I LOVE how much our laundry room opened up by having this stacked unit. We now have the space to add a counter for folding and additional cabinetry.

I've had this washer and dryer for about 8 months. I do 1-3 loads of laundry everyday. It's much quieter then my old Samsung, and it seems to wash faster as well. In the last month it has been leaking out of the front door on the occasion . so far 4xs. I can't figure out why but this is a complete inconvenience .

Generally, the unit does a great job of cleaning and drying laundry. I wish I could change the side of the hinge, I.e., reverse the door. Also, it would be nice to have an optional stand to raise the unit up a little. It is pretty low to the ground.

Delivery was great. The gentleman who delivered and set my wash tower up did a wonderful job. The washer worked great also, it was the dryer that was faulty. LG’s customer service was excellent, today 7/22/2025 I am waiting for my new wash tower.

Nice looking, well functioning washer dryer combo. The good, easy to work controls, fast wash/drying, large capacity. The bad, detergent draw is flimsy junk, swapping wet cloths to the dryer is an on your knees experience. Menu is limited.

The good: now that I fixed it, this unit works well and is very quiet. You can barely tell that it is running!\nThe bad: I installed it and started performing tests as per the manual. It heated up but was kind of smokey? Then would not heat up, only air dry. Contacted LG and that person said I needed my vent professionally cleaned... So I took apart my dryer myself, and discovered that the tube with the element was detached from the back air port and was resting on the floor of the dryer. Which explains why the high limit fuse was blown (no actual airflow through the tube when disconnected) So I ordered some fuses, swapped it out, and good to go. (Happily, this unit disassembles pretty easily) Had I not just DIY'd it, I fear I'd still be waiting..\n\nThe Ugly: had unit delivered and there was some damage- front face of the dryer had some creases in sheet metal. Cosmetic only, and Home Depot gave me some $ to compensate. Also, the strike plate for the dryer door was cracked. LG sent me a new one to swap in.\nTLDR - delivery and quality control issues I had to fix myself to make this work. Happy now though.

This is a very good unit with plenty of options for the different types of laundry that anyone might want to do. As with any major appliance, it is essential to ensure that there is enough space for it, especially as combination units like this are often used in places with limited space, such as apartments, and need sufficient clearance, especially in the depth (to accommodate the vent hose for the dryer). These are large units, excellent for washing large loads and larger items, but of course take up more space than smaller washers. This unit also requires both a 220 and a 110 electric line, unlike the smaller units. This is something to remember when upgrading from a smaller unit. The washer and dryers are quite quiet, and easy to operate from the panel on the front. It is not particularly easy to set up the app so it can be used with wifi, but I did manage to that. Although there are pre-programmed cycles, many options (like temperature and spin) can be set to customize the cycles as the owner prefers.

Leveling the machine is problematic because of the total weight. Did my best on a hardwood floor but the washer still "thunders" during rinse cycles.
