Likes: Stovetop has powerful burners and is easy to clean, stovetop grates and griddle plate are substantial coated cast iron, also easy to clean. Oven is incredibly versatile and provides great cooking results. I am motivated to try new dishes and cooking methods. Dislikes: Size and placement of the 2 large burners. Control panel does not illuminate most functions, and is difficult to see without strong room lighting. ThinQ application works well, but seems to lack some helpful features. Specific comments: Stovetop burners are very powerful, unfortunately the 2 large burners are too large to operate on the high setting. The burner flames, when set to high, actually wrap up around my largest pots/pans, creating a heat problem for hands/utensils. The highest I could use those burners was med-high for a flat-bottomed wok, where I don't mind the sides receiving heat. Of further concern is that those 2 burners are not centered in the top coking area; they are approx 1" too close to the center of the area. This means that my larger pans can't be centered over those burners unless the grill plate is removed and the pan uses some of that grate. Also, I would prefer that one of the large burners was medium-sized instead. The stovetop grates and center grill plate are all of heavy-duty coated cast iron and, along with the entire stovetop, are very easy to clean. The manual states the grill plate is non-stick, although I found it necessary to use a non-stick spray for pancakes and butter for eggs, for example. Cook grate had some uneven cooking on pancakes, but it became more even with time. The display panel only has lit the time/timer, oven temperature, hold warm (if selected) and the icon showing the cooking mode in use. The rest of the display will only show the numeric keypad, rows of cooking options and sub-options as grey on a black background. It is very difficult to see these items without substantial room lighting and the row of sub-options is in such small font that it requires me to put my face right near the panel to read them. This was kind of a big negative for me and I feel there should at least be the option to have those items illuminate on demand. Oven functions: a) Bake (normal) - I have baked two boxed cakes in a 9x13 glass dish using this mode. Both the lemon and chocolate were perfectly cooked within the times as stated on the boxes. The cook on the tops of the cakes were 100% uniform in color, could not have been better. The oven gave me the confidence to make a blueberry pie (I have never made a fruit pie) and the results were nearly perfect (it was the first time I ever made a non-wheat flour crust, and the cosmetics could have been better). I am excited to try some new things and am confident the oven will perform. b) Bake (convection) - I used to cook frozen, breaded chicken patties and frozen fries. Results were much better than I am used to, food had the right surface cook. c) Roast (convection) - Used this mode to cook a 4-lb pork roast and had excellent results. The outside of the roast was perfect and the interior was cooked to the right temp and was juicy and tender. Really happy with this cook mode. d) Remote start - I did need to contact customer service to finish getting the app loaded on my phone, but I would not say it is the fault of the app, but more likely the user. When I called LG's customer service, I was able to start talking to a live agent almost immediately. She walked me through the application process right at that time. I appreciate being able to have my problem solved so quickly with such a pleasant and capable person. I have since used the app for several meals (even when I'm right there) to test the app and the usability. The cooking process is straight-forward and logical from the phone. I did find two things that I think would have made the app more useful: a) I could not find an option to set the stove timer from the app (the app allows you to set the cook time). I would really like to use the timer in case I want to begin preparing side-dishes for the meal. I could do that on my phone's timer app, but why use two devices when I am already in the ThinQ app? b) When enabling the "Keep Warm" option, the oven does not send a notice to my phone that the "Cook Time" has ended. I don't understand that, as this now forces me to use my phone's timer to tell me when the cook is finished. e) Slow Cook: I used my outdoor smoker for an initial 2-hour smoke and cook for pork ribs. Then, instead of having to use the smoker to finish the cook (with all the issues of holding the right temp), I sealed the ribs as normal in foil and finished the 5-hour slow cook @ 220 using this mode. Final results were perfect. f) Air Fry - Cooked chicken wings and fresh-cut potato fries. The wings turned out perfect, but the fries were over-done on the ends. This is by far the most advanced range on the market. There is nothing this range can’t do. Prior to this range we had an LG range that was from 2017 and it was fantastic. Here it is five years later in 2022 and they have added dozens of new features. \r\nFirst off, I absolutely love the new black stainless steel. We had the “normal” stainless steel prior, and it was nice, but this new black stainless steel is way nicer. It’s like going from a Toyota to a Mercedes. It just looks much higher end. The next thing I love the most is the new brilliant blue interior. It kind of reminds me of porcelain from the 50’s and it just makes the inside of the oven “pop” when you open it. My wife says it is much easier to clean also. When we cook our little frozen pizzas there is always something falling off them and she said it wiped right up with a damp paper towel while the oven was still slightly warm. \r\nMy next favorite things are the white LED illuminated knobs. When ever you turn a burner on the knob is illuminated to show that it is on. This is a very cool feature and adds to the futuristic design of the range. \r\nOne other fun feature is the knock twice to turn on the oven light. I don’t know who thinks of these things, but it is honestly pure genius in my opinion. You don’t even have to look for a switch anymore. Just tap the front of the oven door two times and walla! \r\nIt has taken me a while to get used to using the burners on this range. On my old LG range there were some slight differences to the burners where this range has huge differences to the burners. On my old range I knew how long it took to get a large pot of potatoes to start boiling for mashed potatoes. With this new range the front right burner is a dual burner, and you can get a large pot of water to a boil in mere minutes. I overcooked my first pot of raviolis the other day because I wasn’t used to it yet also. This is not a negative it’s just cool to have burners dedicated to boiling water, using to simmer, using for a wok, etc…. LG really packed the extra features into this range. \r\nNow that my wife and I are empty nesters we bake a lot of frozen pizzas. Sometimes as appetizers when friends or family come over or sometimes as a light dinner with a glass of red wine. This range not only cooks them faster, but it more evenly cooks them. All the edges of the pizza get the same perfectly crisp edge vs. just some areas on our old range. This range also heats up a lot, lot faster than our old range. The first time I used it I kept hitting the buttons on the digital display thinking it hadn’t accepted my setpoint of 400*/f just to find out it was already at temperature. \r\nI have found that this range seems to put out a lot more heat into the room also. If you hold your hand above the back of the range, you can feel quite a bit of heat dissipating up through the vents. I’m assuming this is because of the convection oven fan but I could be wrong. Either way it is not a problem, but it was noticeable. I do have a microwave above my range with a fan on it, so I just turn it on medium to let it suck the heat out during the warmer months. During the colder months I just let it come out into the room as free heat. \r\nMy son who is a vegetarian used the air fry setting during his most recent visit to cook his veggie nuggets and he said they turned out perfectly. He also cooked some Arby French fries in there and they were perfect also. Nice and crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. \r\nMy brother-in-law loves to cook so I’m hoping to have him come over and use the Air Sous Vide setting to cook us some steaks soon. He has cooked us some steaks that way once before at his house and they were amazing, but I haven’t used this setting quite yet. I’m looking forward to learning how to use it because I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. \r\nMy wife did download the ThinQ app, but we haven’t even begun to use all its features yet. It is crazy the list of things you can do now either remotely or via Wi-Fi at home. The fact that you can scan a bar code and have the oven turn on and set the proper temperature, etc…. is just crazy. Also being able to use Alexa to turn on the range is just nuts. I can only imagine what the future holds for these types of technologies. We are living in some cool times as far as technology goes. \r\nOne other great feature on this range is the smooth touch glass controls. They are very intuitive and easy to use and due to the angle of them they don’t get all the grease splatter like our older range did. These controls stay much cleaner and are very easy to read since they have colors on the display vs. just being an all-gray digital display. I like how the oven temp is in red and it is easy to see what your setpoint is. The angle of the burner knobs is also very nice. I really like this range, especially the modern look of the stainless steel against the glossy black finish used on the range top and oven door. This is my first slide-in range and I am finding I prefer the oven controls on the front of the range. I do not have to lean over a hot stove to start or adjust my oven settings. The stovetop surface is covered by three large grates allowing you to use larger pans and/or pots at the same time. It’s really nice being able to pull a large pan out of the oven and place it securely on the grate surface without trying to balance it on a couple of smaller, individual grates.\r\nThe three grates easily lift for cleaning the stovetop. The glossy black surface of the stovetop is easy to clean. Just wipe with normal dish soap, rinse and dry with a towel. The individual burners have two pieces that can be removed for cleaning. The burner heads and caps lift without any tools and can be cleaned and replaced without much effort. You need to make sure the caps are seated correctly on the burner heads or the burner wont light.\r\nThe control surface of the range is glass and easy to read. The burner knobs are weighted and made from metal. They can pull off for cleaning and have a large diameter for making subtle adjustments to the burners. I found the distribution of the flames is more consistent and my pots and pans heat up faster when compared to the range I replaced.\r\nThe range is connected to my wireless home network. I have the ThinQ app on my phone linked to this range and my LG dishwasher so I can see various information about my LG kitchen appliances. If I’m not in the kitchen, The ThinQ app tells me when the oven has heated up and reached the desired temperature. The app will even let you know when to clean your oven. There are a lot of programmable features to this range. Too many to list in this review.\r\nThe oven is a bright blue color and has a large capacity. The glass portion of the oven door is much bigger than my old range and I don’t have to open the door to check on the status of what’s cooking. The interior blue surface is durable and very easy to wipe down. One of the new features for cleaning allows you to spray a fine mist of distilled water in the oven and place 8 oz of water in the bottom, run a 10-minute quick clean cycle and then just wipe out the oven. If you use this cleaning cycle on a regular basis, you won’t have to run the normal cleaning feature which takes hours and generates a lot of heat.\r\nI recommend this range if you are looking for a modern, well-built range for your kitchen.\r\nI only had one issue and that was with the crew Home Depot used to install my range. They were in and out of my house in 15 minutes, start to finish. The included accessories that should have come with my range were thrown away with the box. The crew didn’t offer to install the anti-tip kit included with the range. If you have little children at home, you are going to want that kit installed! Also, the range should have come with a rear filler piece which you will need to close the gap between your wall and the back of the stove.\r\nMore importantly, the installers never checked the new gas line for leaks or leveled the stove! Going forward, I would have Home Depot deliver my appliances, but I will install them the right way myself.

Gas line comes up through the floor so i was concerned the oven would sit too far away from the wall. There is an option to install a cover if that’s the case, but ended up not needing it. The manual gives dimensions on where the gas line and electrical outlet should be located so i would verify that before purchasing. I had reservations about the touch controls, namely accidentally turning something on when cleaning or just bumping it, but it requires a relatively solid “touch” to actually get the controls to work. There is a control lock and the screen does turn “off” and just show the time when not in use. A dial turn is required to get it back on. None of the touch controls actually do anything (except settings, control lock, clock, light) without the oven control knob turned to an “on” position. Even with it in the on position you still have to press start for it to begin heating. Nice level of safety. Burner knobs have white led rings illuminate when you turn them on. Great visual to know the gas is flowing. Temperature was accurate to within 3 degrees when I checked it with a temp gun. Time from completely cold to 350 degrees F is about 8 minutes. It was roughly 1 to 2 minutes additional time for a 20 to 25 degree increase. Not much of a baker so only used the broiler and bake “modes” so far. Really like the included pizza stone and peel. The manual is really comprehensive so make sure it’s read through. Unexpectedly, tapping twice in the glass turns the oven light on like the LG refrigerators with the window view in the door. The LG LSGL6335 slide-in range is a fantastic addition to my kitchen and perfectly complements my other LG stainless steel appliances. Its contemporary, modern design and large glass oven door give my kitchen a sleek look. I especially appreciate the front-mounted oven controls, which make it easy to adjust settings without reaching over a hot stovetop. This is my second slide-in range, and I much prefer this control layout.\nThe stovetop features three large grates that cover the entire surface, making it easy to use multiple large pots and pans at once. I find it convenient to pull a large pan out of the oven and set it securely on the grates, rather than trying to balance it on smaller, individual grates. My model also came with a griddle option that fits on top of the center grate, and I installed the rear filler piece to close the gap between the stove and the wall.\nCleaning is straightforward. The grates lift off easily, and the textured stainless steel surface wipes clean with dish soap and a microfiber towel—just be sure to wipe with the grain of the steel. We were looking to replace our old gas range with something newer and smarter.. LG definitely filled those requirements. First of all, it looks great! We love the cobalt blue porcelain interior of the oven and the center fifth burner is actually useable as it is oval which fits our roaster perfectly and provides an evenly distributed heat. It also comes with a griddle for that center burner which is extremely nice and easy to just store in the drawer below and pop on top when you need that 4 cheese grilled sandwich. The LG app was easily downloaded and synced with my home Alexa. This is a definite “smart” bonus. I like that I can make adjustments and start the oven remotely from my phone, or just tell the woman in the box to make the changes..somtimes I forget. The burners are great and the ignition is much quicker than our old stove. Having an integrated air fryer is also helpful with keeping the counters uncluttered. The only thing I am trying to get used to is the operation of the control knobs… Instead of pushing in and turning, you have to squeeze the switch on the side of the knob and turn. Definitely a great safety feature for keeping meddling little fingers safe, but just takes a bit of getting used to. Overall a great range and an even better value.

This is a huge upgrade from the 1990s relic I had previously. Everything works well. Just two comments: I thought I was ordering a range with the curved handle that matches my new fridge and dishwasher, but this one (same model number, but with a different letter at the end) has the new "premium" handle. It's okay, but I really, REALLY wanted the other one. I don't think swapping the handle is an option. Also, the position of my gas hookup prevented the stove from being pushed in all the way and the handle was blocking a drawer (another strike against it). Had to pay a plumber $$$ to get that issue addressed. Home Depot might want to communicate that to customers -- I measured very carefully, but didn't know I needed to take that into account. (I will say that customer service was accommodating and helpful on the phone.) Otherwise, great stove and I love the beautiful blue interior.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we love this range. It cooks wonderfully. There are a few minor complaints. One is the writing on the knobs wears off very easily and I've already had to have them replaced after a couple of months. Even soap and water only for cleaning will wear the writing off. It effects nothing but aesthetically is not great. Replacement process was easy. Second, if you wish to keep the griddle plate on the center burner it makes lining pots and pans up over the burner impossible, so it must be removed and only on when in use, a minor inconvenience. And lastly, it's a pain to clean and keep clean but as is most stainless. A few minor complaints but overall the unit is awesome.

LG has and continues to make great home appliances! The enamel blue interior looks great and provides good color for food being cooked. The control panel is straightforward and easy to use. This oven provides several additional features with the air fry and convection heating makes for a all-in-one stove/oven without the need for multiple appliances in the kitchen. Easy to hook up the gas connection, hook up the electrical and off and running. Ensure the anti-tip is installed as well. I recommend getting a stovetop guard to make cleaning up easier. The stove is fantastic according to my wife, she makes bread and sweets every other day. The bottom drawer has shallow groove for fingers and it pinched my normal sized fingers more than once on closing, first time it almost took my nails off - design defect #1. The bigger issue is the #2, which is the so-called simmer gas burner. It is a full 2-inches below the surface of the grate, but it is the only one that is small enough for a 4-cup espresso maker. I purchased this item over 2 years ago as we were renovating. I absolutely loved that two years later, ALL LG appliances are working perfectly. The range looks amazing and works even better. It puts out tons of heat and does heat evenly. It is a perfect match for anyone that loves to cook. In addition, I love all the bells and whistles. The backlight on the knobs, the InstaView functionality, the many oven options and the fact it connects to WiFi.

Oven superb and burner options/operation excellent. Burners difficult to maintain: caps and burners stain easily after every use and caps cannot be restored to "like-new" status. Griddle stains easily and cannot be restored. Air fryer tray stains easily and has permanent stains after one use; baking soda - as recommended by customer service, does not correct.

All around a nice gas range. Heats up quickly, cleans up easily, and burners are powerful. I gave it a 4 star rating only because the grates and burner caps became discolored very quickly. I cleaned them according to manufacturer instructions but the discoloration is still present. I would recommend this product based on great performance.

This range was installed mid-March and by mid-April I can already tell that the quality is less than ideal. While the range seems to work well, the cooktop portion is not worth the money we paid. We have been very gentle with the top and it is already stained and looks terrible. We don\u2019t make a mess when cooking and have been very careful to clean anything that gets on it (even water), but the burner covers have ugly spots, the burners and cooktop look like they have stains or rust spots, and the grates are rusty where the holes are. The grates are also scratching/gauging the stainless-steel cooktop, even though they are put in place very gently. This is very disappointing as a range is a purchase that you will have for years. If it already is showing signs of wear from very light use in one month, I can\u2019t even imagine how horrible it will look in five years. I am almost scared to use it for fear of more permanent stains and scratches. The other disappointing issue is that the cover over the exhaust area at the back of the stove cannot be removed to clean under it. So, if you have a stray crumb or such, it cannot be cleaned up. The first few times we used the oven portion it set off our smoke alarms even though nothing was baking at the time. This morning, a month later, it made them chirp two times. Be prepared to deal with a horrible plastic smell from the oven during the first few weeks. And if your smoke detectors are sensitive to particulates, it will probably set them off. It was also disappointing that the range only came with 2 oven racks. For the price it is odd. I will say that my favorite feature is the knock-on door to turn on the oven light. We had high hopes for the range, but are starting to regret not heeding the other reviews which mentioned the cooktop and grates easily staining.

The grates are also scratching/gauging the stainless-steel cooktop, even though they are put in place very gently. \nThis is very disappointing as a range is a purchase that you will have for years. If it already is showing signs of wear from very light use in one month, I can't even imagine how horrible it will look in five years. I am almost scared to use it for fear of more permanent stains and scratches.\nThe other disappointing issue is that the cover over the exhaust area at the back of the stove cannot be removed to clean under it. So, if you have a stray crumb or such, it cannot be cleaned up.\nThe first few times we used the oven portion it set off our smoke alarms even though nothing was baking at the time. This morning, a month later, it made them chirp two times. Be prepared to deal with a horrible plastic smell from the oven during the first few weeks. And if your smoke detectors are sensitive to particulates, it will probably set them off.\nIt was also disappointing that the range only came with 2 oven racks. For the price it is odd. \nI will say that my favorite feature is the knock-on door to turn on the oven light. \nWe had high hopes for the range, but are starting to regret not heeding the other reviews which mentioned the cooktop and grates easily staining.
