[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer for my mother at the beginning of this month and had had it for about three weeks now.We love it.It is quiet and dries the clothes completely.I was a little skeptical at first given some of the reviews, but we have found none of the problems have been our experience.This dryers moisture sensor technology has performed flawlessly.The first time we used it, we were surprised at how quickly the drying cycle completed.We were sure the clothes would be damp and we would have to run the cycle again. Not true. They were completely dry.The large capacity drum has been very helpful.Some of the reviews state objection to the cycle completion tune being too offensive.We had no problem with the tune nor felt it was too loud.We are pleased with the drying setting choices and find them to be adequate for our needs.Over all we are very pleased with our LG DLE6100W Dryer and complement LG on the design.We highly recommend this dryer based on performance, features and price.

We LOVE this color. I know may sound un-important to some, but our laundry room is right off the living room so many people see our washer and dryer as they visit. So , looking nice is important. Also, this could be considered a pro or a con. The face of the wash dryer has no more dials. It is much more modern looking with push buttons. We like the sleek look of the new front, but some people like traditional dials. It really depends on what you like. When you open the door to get your laundry out, the light comes on inside the drum, we really like that. also, the clothes come out nice and dry, not too dry, not damp at all. We really Like that, too.

Dries clothes extremely well, but 3 things to consider that cause me to rate this lower
1. Find a great need to manually set the drying of each load. The automatic feature does not always meet my needs
2. There is no light on the inside and it makes it harder to see what I need to selectively pull out when the items are partially dry.
3. Since the door opens sideways and not straight down, when I pull laundry out of the dryer, clothes end up on the floor - cannot avoid it unless I place a laundry basket under the door.

The dryer is capacious and working great so far. The only problem is that the dryer door only opens about a 1/3 of the way and does not go all the way down. Thus, it's awkward to have to reach in the dryer to remove dried clothes. If you are large framed, it would be really hard. From researching the issue online, it looks like maybe the door can be attached so it swings open from one side all the way. Just installed this 4 days ago & it was easy. Recommended 3 prong cord was replaced with 4 prong because that was my outlet requirement. Dryer has performed well. I chose this model because Lowe's features stated it had a delay start option. This model was not present in any local store to verify & I took a chance. There is no such feature on the control panel, I read owners manual with no luck as well. That's the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 as it was a selling factor for me on this...

Overall I like this dryer. I really like the steam setting it has if you need to get wrinkles out. I am still trying to get used to the different dryer settings. Couple cons for me are the dryer door doesn’t open very far. The top of the dryer is not flat, it is slanted. I used to have a drying rack on top of my old dryer which I liked to use. The biggest issue I have had is some of my clothing items get caught near the lint filter so they are twisted and very wrinkled when the cycle is done.

I knew from the reviews that there was no interior drum light and that is not ideal in my dark basement. I'm still getting used to the different settings which are different than I am used to but overall I like it just fine. I like the controls better than my old turn knobs that broke on 2other dryers made my different manufacturers. This is much better.

So far, so good-ish on this dryer. I will say the settings leave something to be desired and it seems unless we set it to its higher/ better drying settings, it tends to leave clothes damp. Once we figured out to kind of ignore the suggested settings, we've been able to get our clothes dry. It is a decent dryer, but if I did it over again, I may opt to try something else within the same price range. Shop around.

I have been very happy overall with this machine. Looks great, I love that it plays a song when it's dry so that I know it's time to take the clothes out. The only thing I will say is that I have had to use my 3 year extended warranty to fix the control board (kept dryer when clothes were already dry). However, the technician was great. I would've been upset had I not purchased extended warranty.

It dries in a reasonable amount of time for an Energy Star Certified machine, others take far longer. Also, the options that don't offer energy savings are present and work very well for bedding, thick fabrics (old-school jeans), and other items that need a higher heat to dry. The tone it gives off is loud enough to be heard from my basement by default, but can be altered to a lower volume if it is too loud for you. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase, it was an excellent price for an excellent dryer.

I’ve had this dryer for two weeks. I love that it is an energy saver, and I love the countdown feature. However, I have had two washes so far that the sensor said the dryer was done, however, the clothes were damp at the end of the cycle. The dryer was a good value, and I’m sure with a little bit of operator finesse. It will be perfect.

Easy controls make it simple for any user to dry the clothes at the right temperature and time. The filter system is quick and easy to clean right inside the door opening. The dryer is fine. The delivery and installation was the problem. The delivery crew called ahead of time to tell me they had no tools to do the install. (All that was needed was a Phillips screwdriver.) so they dropped off the dryer in its box and just left it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this unit a little over a week and so far so good.I do have to get used to the settings and ensure I am putting the right amount of clothing in.I had one instance of putting sheets in with clothing and put it on heavy and when I walked into the laundry room I literally had a wet sauna going on and the sheets twisted around the clothes.I hate reading so I have not sat and read everything about the unit so bad on me but overall it is easy to use and the features are great.

I love this dryer! To be fair, I replaced a 30 year-old dryer with this, so maybe my expectations aren’t as high as others.
