My Ring Floodlight Cams changed how I secure and monitor my property. Night visibility stays crisp, and motion alerts trigger instantly. I watch my dogs in the backyard (“Dog Town”), check that the yard crew shuts the side-gate, confirm package delivery, and track anyone approaching the front. The cams also catch neighborhood wildlife—especially coyotes—so I know when to bring my dogs in. The floodlights, alerts, and video history create real deterrence and accountability for deliveries, workers, and service crews. I would never go back to not having them. I have had these over five years so they are quite durable outside all the time. The solar panels also work great. I have 7 and only 1 has given me a problem. So overall these are really great!

We put this in the backyard facing the pool and grassy area, as we tend to sometimes get little animals hang out in the florida months. This allows me to check the backyard before letting the dog out late at night. We had this up and running withen 20 minutes, thanks to the convient tools the light comes with. This is a very durable light, and the camera is crystal clear. The trouble we ran into was our house wiring after installing, no product issue, a house issue. We have an electrician coming in a few days. Having this floodlight camera gives me peace of mind at night.

I have two Ring 2K outside floodlight cameras installed on my home and three at my son’s house. I figured I couldnit go wrong with the new Ring Retinal 4K video camera floodlight. As always, Ring did not disappoint with their new 4K outside floodlights. The new 4K installs just as easy as the 2Ks. It connects up so easily to your WiFi. The difference between the 2k and 4K is noticeable as you can see by my two photos. Again, easy to set up, outstanding value, a super app, and connects easy to your WiFi. Remember, you need AC voltage to this camera.

I just installed this last night and it was super easy to set up and connect to the WiFi. Can’t say anything about durability cuz I’ve only had it a day, so we’ll see! And I love the functionality of it, you can record and talk through it & I love that feature. The lights work perfectly too as soon as I walk near it the light comes on quickly. I’ve had several ring cameras and I like all of them, now I need more of the motion lights for my front yard! Gives me peace of mind knowing I can record if needed, and see my backyard anytime I want!

We had no problems doing this ourself above our garage it was super simple as we have siding. We had to buy a special bit to drill (a nice and long one). We drilled from the inside out we bought the “Ring plug in mount” and did no electrical just plugged it in near where the garage plugin was. Super easy then wired it. I absolutely am thrilled that we got this floodlight cam. It has truly eased my mind about safety around our home. It has outstanding picture, video, sound, and even the siren if needed. The subscription to the ring access is not terrible, it is actually pretty reasonable. My husband was able to install it very easily and it was so easy to set up. I contemplated going for the level below this one, but I am glad I got this one with the Ai advantage and the amazing picture quality it gives.

The night vision isn\u2019t terrible but it does show enough for identity purposes. It\u2019s WiFi range is awesome because I have mine about 75\u2019 away from my house and it still works. I definitely few more secure now that I have this. You can dial in the exact location you want to recognize motion, even times you want all your features to work. The hard wire installation was super easy. Setting it up was even easier because Ring walks you through every step. Try it, you won\u2019t regret it.

The installation required some assistance in securing to previous floodlight position. I was disappointed that the actual camera was defective out of the box. I had to run to hardware store to get specialized tape to establish visibility. The overall setup to view was a breeze. I connected it to my app and voila I was able to view and receive alerts. Another major Dow side has been the bright light at night. I literally have to turn off the switch so it's not so bright. Overall, I'm satisfied with the safety features and will look at how to transition lighting to motion activated.

Bought 3 of these items. The biggest obstacle was deciding how to make needed revisions from the old rectangular electrical box to the needed 4 inch round electrical box to install these cameras. I had removed existing exterior lights and installed them at the same locations. 2 of the 3 locations were lower 61/2 ft versus the 8 or 9 feet that I would have preferred. Two are now working and I continue to make adjustments in the settings to minimize unnecessary notifications. Quality of pictures and videos (night and day) are better than I expected. Bright lights and sounds are very good. Parts included for installation are good and once you resolve the electrical box issue, installation is a breeze. Given the price of these cameras, why not include a round electrical box, or make them available at the point of sale? My remaining issue that I need to call RING about is that for one camera, I have not been able to fully install due to error message in not being able to join the RING network. I am not doing anything differently that I did for the first 2 cameras installed and I have tried about 5 times now. Price was good given these were on sale so overall, I am pleased; just a bit frustrated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This floodlight cam is all good after you installed it. However, it took me a while to decide where to install it. Since it has to be wired into the wall, I have no way to turn it on and check out how wide the camera view is before installing. I was debating between install it in front of the garage or front entrance. Since I have to drill a hole and run the wire from the power box, it would be really helpful if they floodlight cam have a battery operated option for me to just turn the cam on and decide where I want to put it. Anyways, I ended up putting it in front of the garage, it's all good now.

This ring camera was purchased as a second camera on the other side of the driveway. The clarity of the image is much better than the original model I bought for the other side. The ring app is easy to setup, there are privacy settings that you can select what you want to share. Simple installation- my son (adult) and I were able to get it wired, installed and programmed in a very quick timeframe.

The installation was easy although it does not use the previous hardware/plate so a full install is necessary. Setup is just as easy as before. Once fully installed the picture, lights, and coverage is far better than previous version. We only changed out because chime was considerably late and couldn’t see who was there until after the fact. New 4K version is a definite upgrade with a clearer view.

It’s perfect and makes us feel more safe being in the home. I like that it doubles as flood lights as well. It’s a very reliable camera operating system and I highly recommend everyone has one in their home.

Great camera works excellent, Camera view is good as well clarity. Fairly easy to set up and operate. Only issue is using it on the eve overhang to replace a existing flood light it is limited on adjustment because of how it is made more for mounting on the wall not for eve overhangs. I found a u-tube video on how to make some modifications to swivel mount to get more adjustment on camera view.

We have one of these and it works great. The floodlight is nice for when we come home and it is dark out. The camera part works well. The Ring app allows for quite a bit of control over the various motion settings for the camera and light. You can set various notifications for the camera. The light can be set for different levels of brightness or even turned off if needed.

I have several Ring devices @ our home & this setup Pro series flood light & security camera is absolutely amazing, works fantastic crystal clear images as well as hearing what’s going on. This is one of my favorite ring products. It works perfectly near a darker corner of my home. I like that the light is bright enough to illuminate the whole area when walking by. I have had some instances where it misses some movement but I think I just need to mess with the settings. I have never had issues with the connectivity and it is great quality.

Easy to setup using existing outdoor light wires. Setup was a breeze in the app. Video is good with less lag than my previous camera. The floodlights are nice and bright. Motion detection is also nice, does not overload you with notifications from inaccurate detection unlike my previous camera. Overall, happy with the results.
