Mario Party Superstars is a great upgrade from the previous Super Mario Party game for switch. My 5 year old is an amazing gamer and picks up on playing games super fast. He is a big fan of all the mini games that the Mario Party games offer, since at his age, the attention span is still not cut out for a long drawn out game. \nSuperstars included all the amazing Mario characters and over 100 mini games. The prior Super Mario Party game required detached single joycons and couldn't be played on a switch lite. This new game allows for all types of play even on the lite, which is great! \nMy son is still too young for online play but for those who like to connect through games with friends this game offers online multi player.\nSuper fun game for all ages, even the young gamers!

Mario Party Superstars looks like a fun little party game… until you play it and realize it's a psychological warfare simulator with cartoon characters. This isn't just about dice rolls and mini-games—it's about watching your so-called “friends” gleefully steal your last star, five turns before the end, as you sit there questioning every life choice that brought you to this moment.\n\nIt's bright, it's cheerful, and it's the most passive-aggressive game on the planet. You'll witness betrayal, gaslighting, and emotional damage—all wrapped in rainbow graphics and Toad's annoying commentary.\n\nBy the end of game night, I wasn't sure if we were still friends or if we needed group therapy. Would I play it again? Absolutely. I crave the pain now.

We really love the interchangeable amount of time you can chose to play the main event game. Game is up to four players. It has an option to practice the side games and gather coins through side games if the kids just enjoy playing those. Fun for the whole family or just the adults if free time is ever available. Only negative would be that there is only five boards available indefinitely. Some of them get a little repetitive %26 we tend to just play our favorites. We would love to be able to unlock other boards for different gameplay just as you unlock stickers, music, etc. overall we really enjoy this game and will continue to play. Got Mario Party for my family to enjoy while I was still working over the road. Things changed and I was able to enjoy the game too. Even my 4 yr and 5 yr old at the time enjoyed the game once everything was explained to them. The controls were easy to navigate as an adult; and once the kiddos understood which controls to use, they no longer needed help, except for reading. This game had so many family oriented games and other challenging activities too. You can someone play up to 4 players; and don't worry if there's only 1 or 2. The game will choose the remaining CPU characters.

I have my grandson over almost every day. I am not a proficient game player. So we struggle finding a game we can play together where we both can enjoy it. Some minigames are hard and he does good on them. But there are some games that I can play and win. The basic game is just the luck of rolling dice and choosing which way to go. After each round, everyone gets to play a minigame. Some he wins but when I can win some of them he can't, he is just as happy for me as I am for him. And I have to say that I think the graphics are pretty good.

This game was fun!! However, we were expecting it to be like the first version of Mario Party for Switch. It's definitely not nearly as cool, there are less extras, you can't play the same partner/team boards… we have much more fun on the original game. I actually seem to end up playing this newer Superstars version myself just to make sense of the $60 price point. \n\nDefinitely not as good. Fun, yes. I like other mario games much more. I got the 2 in 1 Mario world and bowsers fury. That was cheaper and way more fun!

If you're a fan of classic Mario Party, this game is for you. No more cars or crappy Amiibo integration just to play something that's a shell of its former self. This is a quality recreation of classic boards from the N64 and GameCube as well as 100 of the best games from the entire series. This is what Mario Party should always be. You can be selective when it comes to the mini games as well, so this is great for people of all ages. Best played with others, but the online integration is a great feature.

I bought this game for the holidays and it's so fun to play with friends and family! Many mishaps and laughs were had! I was only familiar with the first 2 Mario Party games and was pleasantly surprised how well the classics were remade as well as introducing minigames from newer titles. Even when you're alone, you can play online and communicate with stickers which is rather amusing, probably my favorite addition. Must have, especially when it's on sale!

This is amazing! It's definitely geared towards nostalgic game play, which I LOVE! It has games and boards from back on the N64! One of the best features, in my opinion, is that it has family-friendly settings, making it easier to play for the kiddos in the home so all can enjoy equally! Ive been playing this since I was knee high to a grass hopper and have been let down in the past when it came to new games, but this one is NOT that!

I grew up playing Mario Party 2 on N64. This game brings back all of the feels and excitement. The mini games offer unlimited modes and don’t stop you in hot rope jump after 99. They bring back some classic stages and allow you to choose which sets of mini games you want to play during an actual game. I can’t top the hours I put into this as a kid, but I’ll get close. Tons of fun!

I bought this game as a Christmas present for my son. He was so thrilled to open this one Christmas morning. Mario games never disappoint! He and his best friend spend entire afternoons playing Mario Party Superstars! There are so many options with the mini games, it never gets boring. Just bought the new switch 2 for the family and have been renting a lot of games from the library. Superstars is a lot of fun and we played it almost every day and decided it is a must buy! Pretty fun game and great for the whole family. Only thing is that it would have more boards! \n\nA great plus is that you can play the original switch games on the new switch 2 console!

The game is so much fun! I play it almost every day! The only thing is that it only has 5 board games? But it has like 94 minigames, I believe. I wish there were more board games to make it more interesting. I like that you are able to just play all the mini games without having to go through playing the board game.

You can't go wrong with Mario or Nintendo! I remember playing on the Nintendo 20 years ago! Loved it then and love it now! Plus this time I get to play with my granddaughters! They have a blast with it as well. They are ages 5 and 8! I would suggest the age range would be from 5 to 99!

My 9 year old got this for his birthday and it's been such a fun way for our whole family to make video games a way to spend quality time together instead of being isolating. Kids of all ages can play and there's some skill involved but it's mostly luck. The graphics are great!

Loved this game. I love Mario Party and loved that this one had the old boards and minigames from before. The only thing I wish was that you were able to utilize the motion sensors in the controls with some of the games and also wish there were more than just 5 boards.

This game is sooo much fun. I got it for my 6 year old and he has a blast playing. The whole family can play (but you do need extra controllers). Not too difficult for kids and lots of levels to keep them entertained. My favorite game of the year.

If you have ever played Mario party on the wii this is very similar. It was nostalgic to play with the improvement of going through screens faster. It is more of a luck based game then skill which can be frustrating in a competitive family.
