The console came brand new and in perfect condition. Everything inside the box was neatly packaged. Once all set up, the console turned on very quickly. There was an update, but that was quickly done. The screen quality is clear with very good color. The joy controllers feel sturdy and well built and connects instantly. I've spent a good amount of time playing on TV and handheld, and both are equally good. The handheld feels comfortable and dock mode switches over quickly without no problems. Since owning the system has worked amazing and I really do enjoy the system, and my husband and I are both in our 30s and 40s. This would also be fun for the younger generous as well. Very fun console, and I do highly recommend it.

I am seriously SO impressed with the Nintendo Switch. I haven't played video games in years, and this brought me right back to how fun and relaxing it can be. I'm so glad I finally went through with buying a Switch - it's really easy to set up for playing games on the TV, and you can either buy the physical game cards or download games through the store, which is convenient when you want to avoid going to the shops. The lanyards that attach to the Joy-Cons take a bit of getting used to - I've already managed to put the wrong lanyard on the wrong Joy-Con which is a nightmare to separate. For that, I've taken a point off my score. Apart from that, I'm very pleased with the console so far. And I'll be looking forward to playing with it after lockdown, too!

I bought this for my granddaughter to replace her old switch. This one has a slightly bigger screen which makes the switch itself slightly bigger. She noticed it right off when holding it, but acclimated to it in no time. Screen is bigger, brighter and more vivid than the old switch, and she liked the kickstand way better on this model. This is a Japanese model and all of the packaging and paperwork are in Japanese, but this is a non issue.

Great item, however had to return the first one I bought because the dock was not functioning well when I would sit my switch on it lines would appear across the tv, tried it on different tvs and different HDMIs and still had lines appearing. However, lines didn't appear on my screen when I used the switch as a handheld playing device. Got my second one and haven't had the issue again!

So great to replace our old Switch. This new one came out of the box ready to roll! It felt so new and fast! My boys started playing in less than 10 mins of setting their accounts up. This one came with the Mario Kart download. We haven't loaded it yet, but I'm assuming it's going to be pretty easy to do so.
