The best gaming mouse I've had in a long time. I play some MMO games and some that are more FPS style games. While this is the heaviest mouse I've ever had, it is actually the smoothest mouse I have used. Partly due to the fact that its wireless and no wire dragging or tugging on it when I move it around. And other part is the feet that this has on it. They are super smooth. \r\n\r\nThe eye on the side is only 6 buttons, which would seem like it would be bad for a MMO gamer. But if you don't use all your skills, then you can remap your skills or even make macros that will allow a single button to trigger multiple skills. For me, I focused more on certain combat skills and certain healing skills, therefore, I put those on the 6 keys. And with the 6 keys, I set them up in such a way that when I press Ctrl+(mouse 6 keys here) I get the heal skills, but if I don't then I get the combat skills. If you are like me, you will likely find that you will have access to the skills you use all the time, versus the skills that you rarely need. \r\n\r\nI also play some FPS style games, although I'm not actively competing or even trying to be a professional gamer. I find that the weight is not even noticeable from the mouse. The mouse fits my had well and allows me to play those games well. However, I will admit one thing that I love about this mouse. The weight is just right. its right in the middle of my palm and therefore allows me to flick the mouse like a lightweight mouse but with what I feel is better control. Its a personal preference of mine, I've always added weights to all my mice that I've owned, and this is the first one that came from the manufacturer as heavy as I could want. \r\n \r\nAlso, since I use my system for work related stuff, I have another profile on this mouse geared to that. Even with one of the side eye buttons set up for hiding all my windows on my monitor to maintain confidentiality and privacy that is important in a workplace environment. \r\n\r\nI would highly recommend this mouse. The ROG Spatha X is a perfect mouse for any gamer that doesn't strictly play MMOs or FPS games.

Mouse performance is great, love the joystick thumb control, install was more of pain than I thought it would be though. Make sure you plug in with usb cable and install all the updates or Armory Crate won't recognize it, also so far in Bluetooth connection Armory crate RGB won't work with it. Not a huge deal because the latency is too high to seriously game so I use the 2.4 Ghz dongle anyway. After install have love it so far. Very happy with purchase comes with lots of actual useable extras like a spare set of omicron switches. When setting up for Steam check out the YouTube video you can program the joystick for different functions. Would not recommend for someone with smaller hands, mine I would say are medium and the joy stick isn't a stretch but if my hand were any smaller it wouldn't be comfortable. Battery life is pretty good I'm on my computer most of the day everyday and I get 3 days life between charges and it warns me at 25%. I haven't used the NFC charging function yet so cant tell you how well that works. Overall very pleased and would recommend, the joystick is awesome.

Good button layout and responsive. This is exactly what you need for a gaming mouse. More detail below. \n\nSoftware needs programming for each game; easy to set up and download profiles you can reuse in the future. Whilst active, you can easily switch between profiles with the mouse. The reviews suggesting the software is too difficult are misleading; compared with a Logitech, their software is slightly more convenient in that you can usually set up your mouse within each game (i.e. you press any of the additional buttons within the game it immediately sets it up within configuration) for ASUS you need to set up each game in their app. It's not that difficult and takes the same amount of time. \n\nThis mouse is great for larger hands or the need to rest your hand on the mouse rather than wrap around it. The Logitech I tried was a good mouse but slightly too narrow; it makes sustained gaming difficult and distracting, because you keep thinking about how a slightly wider mouse would be perfect. If you are concerned about width, just buy this.

Over the years I have been through mice left and right, from every major corporation in the computer scene. Once stumbling upon the fact ASUS not only allows, but recommends you to repair your own mine by providing easy access, the tools to do such AND replacement switches, you better believe I dropped mad cash for this mouse and have not regretted it one bit. I am a 6'3 - 270 lb man so I have large hands, this mouse is FOR large hands, if you have small hands, look for another asus that allows switch replacement, this mouse will be too big for you- and honestly- thats a shame. Maybe they should make a Spatha x JR for smaller handed people because again, this mouse is the best one I have ever used. I play tons of games, fortnite is one, theres a button on the side of this mouse for every single build option where you can do it all with your thumb, you can turn the middle button on the side into a "Sniper" button, its totally customizable. Again- GREAT purchase

First and foremost it's beautiful and functions beautifully. It took me a little while to get use to the size difference between it and my old keyboard which was much larger. However dicspite my surprise of the size of the keyboard. I enjoyed this about it. I was looking for a smaller keyboard anyways so it worked out perfectly. Extremely customizable which was pretty cool and then battery has exceptional running hours. However when I first opened it I felt a little misled because when I purchased the keyboard is red that it had a touch panel that came with it so I was expecting a touch pad one you would use for pictionary or drawing in general. Instead its a touch panel on the side of the keyboard that controls the valume on my monitor. Dicspite this misunderstanding which I blame myself for not reading more thoroughly into it, I still would recommend this keyboard to anybody that wants a nice high quality wireless keyboard.

I received the mouse today quickly from Scan, so thanks for that. It comes in a quality look and feel box. Just taking out of the box you can see that this is a quality product and the price of it reflects that. Connection to the pc was no problem and straight forward. It's moves effortless on my new mouse pad, even though a tad heavier and larger than my previous one. The downfall of it, is using it with Armoury Crate, this is a buggy piece software that tends to work on somethings and not on others. I was unable to even register it via the software and had to use MyAsus app, so not sure what was going on there. I love Asus/ROG products and the quality of their hardware is visible to all to see, even though at a price point which could be better. IMO, If they sort out the some glitches, software and pricing of their products, that would shoot them right to the top.

The mouse is nearly perfect. The replaceable L/R click actuators is such a nice feature (two extras included) - sweet! The Armory Crate software certainly gets the job done and the Aura Creator software is a nice added touch. This mouse kicks butt with it's great foot print and solid feel, that fits my larger hand very nicely. The magnetic charging storage cradle is very convenient. Two lightweight and flexible USB cables are great for wired gaming and second cable can be left attached to the charging stand. Completely customizable RGB wheel, logo and 6 aux buttons makes a nice show of color. The only complaint I have is the wheel "middle click" actuator is a very light touch making it easy to accidently middle click during a wheel scroll. This mouse is easily recommended.

I'm basing my review from my years of running the Logitech 700 and 700s. For the most part it's a good mouse, its far from great and could use some improvements but I don't think there are a lot of disappointments. If you could snatch one on a discount, I would go for it.\r\n\r\nPros: The mouse software is easy to manage and setup is a breeze. The buttons easily customizable feel great to the touch. The charging station is on point and keeps my desktop neat. Extra switches to swap out later is a huge plus since the reason I replaced my old mouse is because the switches were going bad. And the number of thumb buttons which was the main reason for the purchase. I've become so accustomed to running four thumb buttons like the Logitech 700 that it's hard to downgrade to anything less.\r\n\r\nCons: The weight. It's a tad to heavy and could benefit from maybe having replaceable weight like the G503 does. The mouse a bit bulky as compared to others on the markets but luckily for my paws it's not a big issue but maybe for someone with smaller hands it can be a bit much. Lastly, the shape of the thumb buttons. I get that it was going for a look but some of the button shapes makes it difficult to accurately push because of its shape and position, such as the center thumb button. My thumb is far to big to avoid smashing two other buttons while trying to use the center one. I mainly leave that center button disabled.

This thing is heavy but with that comes a rock solid build packed with so many features and programmable hotkeys that it made gaming with a keyboard and mouse actually comfortable for me. Software was easy to use and the face it has a charging dock that acts as a receiver for wireless communication is very nice. \n\nI didn't know what to expect at first but I can say that this one is a keeper and easily replaced my Basilisk Pro that I was quite fond of.

The Spatha X is a great quality mouse with enough customizability to fit most games. The ability to adjust the mouse's sensitivity can offset any issues you may have with the mouse's weight. The only problem is the slightly awkward placement of the side buttons. The large two-forward buttons are great, but the small middle can lead to accidentally pressing the buttons around it. The rear three can be awkward when trying to press them. The software to customize the mouse can take a bit of learning and tends to reset factory default the first couple of times before saving customized pre-sets.

The mouse is superb. The grip is really good and the little rest for the thumb makes it very comfortable, despite the size. It is a bit heavier than most mouses, but that haven't caused any problems for me so far. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the customizable buttons aren't recognized as mouse buttoms. The Armoury Crate app is needed to individually assign actions to each buttom, which means different games will need different setups. Profiles help with that, but it still annoying.

Raises up your hand enough to fully click properly right and left. Has a comfortable feel to it once you get used to the mouse and the side buttons. I would say the only downside is the thumb rest should be larger and carry onto the surface and the pinky placement should have a rest as well, which the dark core has.
