I bought these during the Black Friday special for under $20 way less the the other popular name brand that I also own a pair of duck boots. These provide the same comfort and appeal has the higher priced duck boots. For all those people who keep complaining about the snow sticking to them it’s clearly because these are RAIN BOOTS NOT SNOW BOOTS. These boots are meant to wear in Rain or fall like weather NOT snow days. Nowhere in the description does it indicate that these are winter/snow boots! If you’re looking for cute stylish RAIN BOOTS these will do. If it’s SNOW BOOTS you’re looking for look else where these were not meant for that! They fit try to size I wear an 8 and have room for a thicker sock these do not run narrow like the name brand duck boots. I only gave four stars as they do have a mild chemical type odor upon unpacking hopefully that will fade as they are worn. Hope this review helps.

I have wanted a pair of 'duck boots' for a while. These were purchased during the black friday sale. It's currently raining where I live and I have been wearing them without a problem. Though the grip of the tread concerns me on flat smooth services, there is no traction at all. I do not think walking on ground that has froze over would be safe, since I feel as if I may slip on the tile floor. The boots are big for their size. I wear between an 8 to 8.5 in shoes, boots and sandals. I sized up due to some reviews and bought a 9. They were enormous, so I returned then and bought an 8. They fit with room, I can fit a finger between my heel & the back of my boot. I am wearing my thicker hiking socks with them and my toes are not cramped, they also do not feel toasty warm. I bought the green/brown and find the contrasting colors appealing. The quality of workmanship is mediocre, but they are not high end and it's expected.

So comfy & cute at a fraction of a fraction of the brand name duck boot price! I have wide feet & the regular width fit just fine (even with thick "cozy socks" on). The heel feels a little loose, but that's OK because they're so easy to put on & take off - fair tradeoff in my book. The soles, however are SLICK! Hence, only 4 out of 5 stars. I'm trying to scuff up the soles as I walk, but have had to be VERY careful so far. The soles are a hard & have NO traction whatsoever.

These boots are the warmest and most comfortable shoes that I own. However, DO NOT wear them in the snow (rain for that matter too!). The bottom of the shoes don't have enough traction and are slick across the bottom. When I wore them in the snow, the snow stuck to the bottom of the shoe and created huge snow mounds under my feet. I had to kick the snow off every few steps in order to not twist my ankle. The boots are more for style than functionality.

I purchased two pairs, one for my sister for Christmas and one for myself. These boots are cute and stylish but not functional for rain or snow. The sole of the boot is not rubber. It is hard plastic and is very slick in rain and snow. Especially snow! The bottom of the sole had a rough paper like layer and this is where the snow clumped and collected, and I almost fell several times. The plus side to these boots are that they are very warm, padded, and stylish. They run large so if you order these I would size down. I kept them because I got such a great deal on them. Just be aware that they're not particularly good for rain or snow or any real inclement weather.

Perfect for southern New England, where we get more slush these days than actual snow. I love the blackwatch plaid option. Very stylish yet classic. Surprisingly comfortable, lightweight and all-around easy to wear. I measure size 10.5 (which is almost impossible to find) and have a slightly wide foot. The size 10 fit nicely with plenty of room for warm socks. If you have a narrow foot these may not be for you. But I am so pleased with this boots I even want to wear them on sunny days. Only small thing is the “St. John’s Bay” plaque on the heel is a bit tacky and I wish they had just put “SJB”. Would’ve looked more classy.

I bought these exact same boots, same navy and green, last year. They run about a half size to a size too big. I wear a true size 11, so you MIGHT want to size down.
Could be because the top half is more like a quilted flannel, cloth. Also, the rubber sole of the boot gets snow impacted into it, so your traction when walking in bad snow might not be the best. They have that silly cloth-type stuff on the bottom, as you see in the second pic. If you're going to buy them, get them when they're on clearance like I did.

I've had these boots for about 6 weeks and don't wear them every day. I noticed yesterday that the show laces have worn a hole on the outside tongue of the boot. One foot is worse than the other. Seems like it would last better than that. It sucks because of all of the "duck" boot styles, these fit the best.

Got the navy with plaid and they're super cute and comfortable. Got them specifically for rain, to keep my feet warm and dry, and they will. Am a 10 med and these seem to run a little big but that's what I wanted so that I can wear thick socks in cold weather and still have a nice comfortable fit. A wide foot will have no issues with these. A very well made boot and can't beat the price.

The boots couldn't be any cuter. I bought the blue plaid. The fit..for me..is spot on.size 9. Folks...these are rain/ water proof duck boots. They are not designed for warmth or comfort. They do keep your feet dry...which is their designed intent. I actually added a bottom insert for comfort. Overall..these boots are a steal!!!

Bought these last year around Christmas time during a sale and fell in love with them. They were a stylish yet working shoe. But unfortunately after a year of having them the rubber wore out amd it completely fell apart on me one day at work. Buy it on sale and use them mostly for just commuting from my car to the office.

I usually wear 11w and was ready to be disappointed with 11m as usually my feet feel very crammed in rain boots in general. But these are perfect! It’s very roomy inside and can wear thicker socks with no issues. I also love how light and comfy these boots are. I’m very satisfied with this purchase!

I bought these boots a bout a month ago when they were on a great sale. Now I know why! I wore them today on the snowy playground to keep my feet dry and the snow just packed onto the bottom of the shoe. There was at least a couple inches of packed snow under my boot and almost rolled my ankle trying to kick the weight of the snow off. Definitely not for snow but did keep my feet warm.

Ripped as I was trying them on! I was excited and hopeful about these boots unfortunately it was a quick let down. They look good but poorly made. Definitely run big but I got my normal size (7) but I wanted to put and extra sole cushion and thick socks so for me the size was perfect. We’ll, back on the hunt for duck boots.

Just wore the for the first time in snow. They are terrible. The snow packs onto the boot after just a few steps. It gets several inches thick and then if not, careful because it is not longer even, you roll you ankle. They are slippery when wet so not sure how good they would be even in rainy wet conditions. I usually wear an 8.5 and bought the 8 and am happy with that. I found they were warm enough. Like the look and fit and would be a 5 if not for the snow/slippery issues. Giving a one because for the light snow conditions I bought them for they are useless. Daughter was over today and reports the same issues.

These are poorly made. You feel like you are walking on plastic, they are NOT slip-proof and the laces do not stay tied tight. There is no leather or rubber-like the original duck boots. In addition, they are not very warm. Buyer Beware. You will slip wearing these boots in both snow and rain weather. SO protect yourself
