I'm holding back a couple stars, and I'll explain why. My wife and I picked this up from HD and had an employee help us lift it into the truck vertically. I know not to lay a refrigerator over if you plan to use it soon. So we were deliberately careful, and strapped it safely in that vertical position against my truck bed tool box. We hauled it to our place and removed carefully, and found the unit in perfect condition with great packaging. There were no dents, dings or any marks on the (fake) stainless finish. All good. \n\nSo we moved it into is new home, powered it on and let it do its thing. I also have always kept a pair of remote temp sensors in my old fridge/ freezer, so I installed those into this unit. Upon initial start up, we used the freezer dial at the mid point setting, and the fridge digital pad at level 3 of 5. The freezer got cold pretty quickly, like in a couple hours it was getting ice crystals on the walls. The fridge section was proving to be very slow to cool down. I even ran out to my shed fridge and grabbed a bunch of bottled water and beer to put in, in an attempt to help the unit. A day later it seemed to struggle to get under the mud 40's in the fridge, while the freezer easily hit sub zero tennis that first night. Hmm. Odd. So, I knocked the control to level 4 inside the fridge and gave it another day. Now we were hanging around 40 -42 degrees, still no good per the CDC for food storage. CDC recommends 38 degrees at the highest, 35 would sure feel more safe. So we left for a week and came back to no changes. I bumped it to the maximum cooling #5 setting that next weekend, I have floated 38-39 degrees per my digital sensors i have installed. Drinking bottled water out of it, it's not that crisp cold you expect, rather it's.... cool. I'm leaning on it as hard as I can with cooling level 5 and really seeing the highest edge of what's considered safe for human food storage. I'm not overly impressed with that, I would expect the digital adjustments to allow me to get to the edge of freezing and find a comfortable setting around 34-36 degrees. I'm not sure how to handle this issue, but... I did pay HD $139 for the add on 5 year All State warranty. \n\nThe looks, and the layout of the unit are great. The 2 crisper drawers have simple to use slide bars to adjust humidity, the glass shelving is easy to clean, easy to see through and let's the LED lighting really get to all areas. The size is perfect for our needs, and in sale for just under $600 makes it a great bargain. Assuming it can keep food cool enough to not kill us. The shelving is also adjustable for height in the fridge, so it's design allows you some flexibility. \n\nSo while we love the stainless look, the size, the value and the ability to modify the shelving positions, there is animosity over is lack of cooling ability even in this fall weather. What will it be like in 95 degree summer weather?

Dealing with Home Depot customer service was atrocious. No one in appliance dept, didn't offer install just drop ship. Fridge looses temp when door is open, plus when you close fridge door, freezer door pops open! Got to keep an eye in that. I'm getting childproof locks to keep doors closed!! Freezer is very small, limited shelves. But as a 2nd fridge it's acceptable.

12oz cans CAN NOT FIT between shelves. Almost a great fridge but this lack of space between shelves is pathetic. Literally only a quarter inch more between shelves. A fail for the designers.

We bought this last summer to replace a 30-year-old fridge in our garage that finally bit the dust. We use it pretty much only as an overflow fridge and for drinks in the garage, and the price was right so we bought it. We're disappointed that we did. It performed fine last summer/fall, but everything in the fridge froze solid during cold snaps in the winter.\nI'm finally writing a review now (in May, 10 months after purchase) because water keeps pooling on the top shelf of the fridge. I opened the back panel inside the freezer to defrost the coils and discovered that the bottom coil was bent downward and frozen stuck down onto the drain. I cannot finish defrosting the drain manually because the back panel on the outside of the fridge cannot even be removed.\nI would not recommend this fridge unless you plan to use it inside the house, or in an insulated garage.

Tried to reorder that was another mess first representative did respond to my emails but second time I called they helped but 1 part is still not available. Our 18 month old GE refrigerator's compressor (660r) locked up with a 3 week repair time(!).\r\n\r\nPurchased this fridge 2 weeks ago as a rescue unit. Picked it up in the box and brought it home. No assembly required save for removing the packing/padding material.\r\nPut it in the garage, leveled it and plugged it in. Adjusted the controls a couple of times and it keeps fridge area at 38F degrees and freezer at -1F. I have not noticed any unusual noises coming from the unit. It did come with a hinge to change door swing direction, a small ice cube tray and a 6 place egg holder. The one thing I did notice is there is no lower panel on the back covering the compressor, wiring, etc. Not a bother to me and makes cleaning easier. Overall, very pleased with the unit at this point.

The only issue was that the box was excellent in the outside but inside, the bottom protective box that was unseen was damaged so the same was the outside of the refrigerator it was dented in bottom places. But was the only last one in the store so I keeper because I really needed it badly.

The freezer section can hold several bags of ice and boxes of frozen treats. It came at a good price and a better deal than the competing local stores. Great garage ready refrigerator. I was pleasantly surprised by the great space, don’t let the cubic feet scare you off if you are looking for primarily a beverage refrigerator and need something to fit into a smaller space. I went to the store to view it first. Only request would be to have WIFI ready so you know if you accidentally left the door open. Delivery was excellent also!

But it appears this was caused by the hand truck that it was brought in on. Other than that it runs excellent it keeps the food just perfectly cold and Frozen. On top of all of that, it's super super quiet!

I wasn’t looking for a large refrigerator to store my overflow of drinks. The 10.1 was too big, the 5 was too small, when I saw the 7.1 I thought it was perfect, and it is. It holds just enough, and it actually keeps things cold. The freezer section is small but all I really need it for is my dog food so it’s the perfect size and it freezes beautifully. It’s a great buy!
