I've always highly regarded Alfred Dunner clothing for years now. I find for myself and my size, these pants may run slighty large for the size in the waist and pant legs even though plus size myself, but I can wear the size anyway, because I enjoy loose fitting pants on occasion. They're really stretchy, but like that to be comfortable. I beleive they would be seemingly water resistant when out in the rain or snow, while the material is thick, but light in weight too. I can layer wearing leggings underneath them for cold days!

These pants were much larger than the stated size. I would definitely size down. Ultimately I ended up returning them instead of exchanging them for a smaller size because the fabric wasn't what I was expecting. It had a very synthetic feel almost like swimsuit fabric and I was afraid it would be uncomfortable and hot with long term wear.

Not the fabric I was expecting, but will make a good pair of pants to wear to the office, or for meeting someone for lunch. This fabric is better during the Spring. A trendy light weight blazer will add to the look. I prefer a knit material that I can wear during the Fall and Winter. These are strictly for Spring and light Summer.

Great dress pants. Plus size short is for petite or shorter women. When you sit down the pants no longer cover your ankles if you are not. Had to order plus size and not short to get perfect fit. They shrink a little in the wash and then stretch back out a little when you wear them - mostly in the waistband. Just to manage your expectations. Ended up getting the blue and black colors.

The fabric, feel, fit of these Alfred Dunner slacks are wonderful. The only reason I gave it a 4 is the color is a bit different than I expected for the online photo, but I still have tops to wear with the capris.

These are very light weight and are a bit baggy and long on me so they may run large. I bought the black ones and they look quite smart so after I will hem them they will be a great addition in the spring/summer.

I like these pants because they fit well and are comfortable and I can wear them all day without discomfort. The stretch waistband is perfect. It doesn't feel too tight or too loose. I put them in the washer with the rest of the dark load and they have come out just fine. I just hang them to dry.

I have bought a previous style for my mother which were just right except a tad bit too long. I love this one even better because it's a true petite short. Great quality with a little stretch making it easy to assist her getting them on and off. And they look pretty darn cute!

Pants fit true to size. They are made of good material and live that they are pull in's without buttons or zipper. They do have front pockets that are good size but no back pockets. Wore these to a wedding and was very comfortable in them. Will be purchasing more.

When you just don't want to wear jeans anymore, here's the answer! Sizing "short" is slightly different than Petite. The "rise" is regular depth, but the inseam is short like petite. Comfortable, dress up or down.

The quality of the fabric is excellent and this should be the best ever except the waist goes all the way up to my bra line. I have to roll the waist down two or three times in order to be at waist level. I like the fabric and fit otherwise so much that I will keep them and see if I can get them altered.

Loved the fabric and color. But a bit too baggy and was 5 inches too long! So will have to hem. I see they make a short cut size so I will order them if available. A lot of colors and sizes were no longer in stock so if you see something you like order it ASAP. Not made to size though.
