Over the years I converted from drop corded tools to gasoline power tools. Well its 2022 and cordless powered yard tools are here to stay. The Ryobi 40 volt 160 mph whisper quiet blower will make you a believer. Right out of the box you get an easy to assemble blower. The blower tube slides on to the blower motor. And the turbo tube slides onto that tube. I charged up the 40 volt battery about 90 minutes. And your ready to use your blower. First try I blew out the garage floor. Great power it was easy to use. And nice I didn't smell like 2 cycle oil. Then I cleaned up the front yard after edging the grass for the first time this season. Great power love the throttle lock feature. This helps reduce finger fatigue from holding down the throttle trigger. Plus the turbo button gives you that extra power to move those wet leaves or in my case the edging grass clippings and dirt. The battery probably lasted about a hour. I used the turbo button quit a bit. So that does use the battery up a whole last faster. Totally impressed. The Ryobi blower kit includes the blower, charger, 40 volt battery and two blower tubes. Ryobi warranties the blower for 5 yrs. And the 40 volt battery for 3 yrs. Great product no more mixing gas and oil. Maybe it's time to check out this new modern yard tool.

The RYOBI 40V HP Brushless 190 MPH 730 CFM Cordless Battery Jet Fan Leaf Blower with (2) 4.0 Ah Batteries and Charger is a powerful, almost too powerful, leaf blower. It has a comfortable handle, though it could use a shoulder strap due to the weight when loaded with a battery. Due to the high volume of air it puts out, you have to be careful when using it to clear leaves or other material. It will easily blow other items away. After using it a few times I have learned to pulse the trigger in such away that bursts of air are emitted in a controlled fashion. It comes with two batteries and one charger. The charger is pretty efficient at fully charging the 4AH 40 volt batteries. A fully charged battery seems to last quite awhile and could easily clear a normal sized yard on one charge. The kit includes two nozzles, both capable of being cut to adjust the wind velocity. However, they are rubber and once cut, they are permanently set to that velocity. The unit is a little on the heavy side, weighing in at 7.5 pounds with a battery attached. The battery, alone weighs almost three pounds. All-in-all, this is a good unit, but having a should strap included would be helpful. The other issue, which just recently has occurred, is that the trigger is not always responsive. After a few weeks of use, the trigger now has to be pressed a number of times sometimes to get the blower to activate. Consequently, I've dropped the rating to average and cannot recommend the product.

This is the first electric blower that I've used that I think is actually powerful enough to use for real landscaping. It's just slightly lower powered than my Ryobi backpack blower (which clocks in at 175mph/700cfm), but it can still easily blow things like acorns and twigs out of the way and where I want them to go. And it is *quiet*. Besides having no idling noise, like you do with a gas blower, even when maxed out, the motor on this is extremely quiet. You mostly just hear the whoosh of the wind being blown--your neighbors are gonna love this. The battery doesn't have an extremely long life--just a bit more than I need to blow things around on my 1/4 acre lot during weekly landscaping. But that's probably enough for most homeowners. \r\n\r\nA couple other things to note--\r\n1) Assembly is beyond easy. Just snap a couple pieces of plastic into place and you're good to go. 2) It's kind of heavy--at around 25 lb., I wouldn't want to be lugging it around all day, but it's not bad for the amount of landscaping the average homeowner will be doing.

This thing is powerful! Simple to use, quiet and no maintenance!\r\n\r\nMinimal assembly is required. Simply clip the tube onto the power unit, clip the battery in and you are ready to work. \r\n\r\nControls are good too. You get a speed trigger plus a ‘turbo’ button that adds additional power as needed, for example a thick layer of wet leaves that needs to be lifted up. In addition one can also set a knob on the handle (cruise control) that holds the speed at the selected level so you don’t have to hold the trigger down all the time. This reduces finger fatigue.\r\n\r\nRyobi also supplies an additional flexible blower tip, and these tips can be cut to make a larger spout.\r\n\r\nYou get the blower, a 6 Ah 40V (well 36V) battery and a battery charger, and spare tip.\r\n\r\nThe blower tube can be unclipped from the power unit for more compact storage.\r\n\r\n5 year limited warranty on the blower.\r\n3 year limited warranty on the battery.\r\nBlower and charger made in Vietnam.\r\nBattery made in China.

This is definitely one of the most powerful battery powered blowers I've owned. It's great for cleaning out all of the trapped leaves in my bushes and flower beds or clumps of mulched grass after I mow the lawn.\r\n\r\nIt measures 41" long, but is easy to handle. I really like the "cruise control" function that allows you to continuing blowing without having to hold down the trigger. Very easy to operate. The power control lever is also easy to use.\r\n\r\nAs for the noise level, it's definitely quieter than other blowers. I think my neighbors will appreciate that. \r\n\r\nI also like the redesign of the battery. While it's still heavy, it's easier to install it than the older version that I have. Took a 1 hour and 15 minutes to charge the battery. In terms of battery life, I think that will vary per person depending on how you use it. \r\n\r\nIf you're looking to make the switch from a gas blower, this will be a great option.

I went from a brushed Ryobi blower to this new model and it has exceeded my expectations. The difference in power is huge and it feels like a top of the line model. The quietness is pretty amazing as well. I don't feel the need to wear earplugs.\n\nEven with variable speed I mostly stick to High with intermittent turbo. I get about 10-15 min. per battery. I get a good bit more with the 6ah that came with the mower and in either case the weight and balance in hand is acceptable. \n\nI'm not a huge fan of nozzle attachments. I cut it down to the 160mph level and left it there. Feels like a good balance of speed and power.\n\nThe blower is big and bulky compared to my older blowers and is easier to knock over. If there's one area that I'd improve it would be that.\n\nDefinitely recommended. The kit as a whole felt like a great upgrade.

The Ryobi 40V cordless jet fan blower is amazingly quiet compared to other blowers. This blower has a brushless motor for more power, longer runtime and longer motor life. It comes with a 2-piece blower tube, a lithium-ion battery and a quick charger. The battery took approximately 2 hours to completely charge. The blower tube is easily installed/removed without any tools. The trigger switch works well for varying the speed of the blower and the cruise control lever keeps the speed at the desired level. The turbo boost button gives a burst of power similar to a gas blower. My one complaint is that the battery is heavy and the placement of the battery on the rear of the unit makes the weight of the blower out of balance toward the rear. The blower comes with a 5 year tool warranty and a 3 year battery warranty.

I purchased this blower in the fall to handle the massive amount of leaves from multiple oak and maple trees in my yard. I already owned the 18V Ryobi One+ blower, which worked fine for light jobs, but it just couldn’t keep up with the volume of leaves I needed to clear.\n\nThis is my first 40V Ryobi tool, and it definitely won’t be my last. The power is impressive—the 730 CFM output easily moves even large piles of leaves and debris. It was strong enough to push leaves all the way to the back of my yard, making cleanup much easier. It even helped clear away the endless acorns covering my lawn.\n\nThe 40V blower has become my go-to tool for fall cleanup. I highly recommend it to anyone with heavy yardwork needs, and I’m already planning to expand into more of Ryobi’s 40V outdoor tool line.

I was able to weedwack 1/4 acre lot with chainlink fence, givien it's not growing season I was able weedwack both sides, edging and driveway then used blower (turbo is great!) and the battery still had 2/4 led. The trimmer head works but kicks up a lot of rocks and sand. I put my old trimmer head and it works great! I used the it on low speed most of the time, the trigger on 40V head allows for much more control that my old 25cc craftman

Yes it is very strong ,Since my Roybi mower uses very little of these batteries (one charge I can cut up to two times for the same battery) like that the batteries rest too long, especially during the winter, so I had to get a leaf blower the most powerful in its category, in order to clean the snow on my stairs and some on the driveway. And today I tested on my cars , it seems that the snow is a little wet and quite heavy even that the blower blows very well, except that the blower consumes a lot of current, it only lasts about 12 minutes for the 40v battery at 6 amp unlike the mower this one I can cut up to two times in addition it is a self-propelled mower from ryobi!

Both the String Trimmer and Blower are of good quality. I do like the introduction of carbon fiber into the trimmer for increased rigidity and decreased weight. The motor on the trimmer is quite good as well. I haven't purchased any attachments for the unit yet but will do so in the future. The leaf blower is an absolute BEAST. I love this thing. I had leaves 12" deep in my backyard and was able to move all of them to one side of the yard to mulch in no time. Excellent.

I already had this same weed trimmer; I bought it last year. The 40V really makes this as powerful as my Stihl... maybe a bit more. I received this combo as a promotion for purchasing an 80V lawn tractor. I've put the trimmer away as a backup but I am using the blower. It works great and my only nitpick is that my pants get sucked-in against the back of the intake. Not a serious issue and certainly not dangerous... just weird.

I upgraded from a 18v Worx to this 40v monster. It is worth the cost since it comes with 2 batteries. I can continuously hold the trigger down for 25-30 mins. I haven’t had to use the turbo button no need to. The only reason for 4 stars is the weight but that’s because of the battery. I nice shoulder strap would be nice with this one. This blower replaced a 30 year old Ryobi blower/vac, so there's not much to compare other than the old unit still runs. The new blower is very versatile, from clearing the walks and drive, sweeping the garage out, blowing light snow, drying the cars, and blowing leaves. It is well balanced regardless of the battery size installed. I have used it with 4 ahr., 6 ahr., & 7.5 ahr. packs. Great run time and the cruise control is great long running jobs. It's also quiet at full throttle.

So my old cordless leaf blower died and I thought it's time to try Ryobi. It's bigger and heavier than my old one. It's rated at 650 CFM as my other one but doesn't seem to blow as hard and it' takes more time to move the leafs and grass. So would I buy it again not sure.

Full disclosure, I work for "the other guys" and made the choice to purchase this product because it offers an extra battery and rapid charger. The only thing I don't like is the rubber nozzle-tip which is the reason for the 4-star rating. The work speaks for itself.

This is fantastic and every bit as powerful as our corded blower. No more lugging around an extension cord and having it come unplugged all the time. Really good blower. I wanted to be able to blow the pine needles up without disturbing the gravel underneath. This guy did the job! My sister calls it my bazooka! I was able to carry it without difficulty but my arm was a bit sore the next day. It's a bit heavy but not too bad. Got the job done way faster than raking. Battery life lasts til I'm ready to take a break! And it really is fairly quiet.

Very powerful leaf blower. If you do not use the turbo button too much, you can get about 10-12 minutes on a 6aH battery. The turbo mode is enough to send pinecones flying. My only complaint is the battery makes it top heavy, and it can easily fall over when placed on the ground. However, it is very stable if you place the back intake on the ground (see photo).
