It took me less than an hour by myself to assemble. Im only 115 lbs and over 60 yrs old so it can be done if you dont have help. I watched a few youtube videos first and chose to assemble it on my wood bed frame. My main concern was being able to lift it and my mattress after it was done. Assembly was easy with only 8 screws that go in corners. I have a 12†memory foam mattress that the foundation supports. I chose this because the shipping was free and Im sick of paying $100.00 delivery fees with local furniture stores. Im very happy with this foundation. My bed is 30†high because I chose the thicker foundation and my bedframe is raised too. I would suggest you measure top mattress and how high your bed frame stands so you can choose which thickness of foundation you will want.

I purchased the full size foundation for my full size mattress, also purchased from Ashley. This is a low foundation, about half the height of a traditional box spring. It didn't take long to assemble it either. It may be a little finiky at first, but there are only 8 screws to worry about, and you're given a spare just in case. The foundation gives a nice little height to the bed and full coverage for the mattress. It also fits perfectly under my mattress. Both the foundation and the mattress are a little smaller than my bed frame (also purchased from Ashley), but I'm okay with that.

I give it four stars because in the first step I was blocked because the pieces didn't exactly fit together. I had to use a rubber mallet that I already had to get the pieces together. And the isn't a one person job at all, however it is possible… It's easier to build it on the bed than to build it and then put it on the bed too.I would recommend! I definitely feel a difference in my mattress and once you get pass the first step it smooth sailing afterwards.

Well, after an agent had me to purchase the incorrect foundation for what I ordered, I had to return it and get the low profile foundation. Otherwise my mother would have needed a ladder to her on her bed. The low profile foundation has the bed sitting at the perfect height. I am now very happy with my purchase. I had to pay shipping to return the old foundation that they had me to buy. They should probably ask more questions before making suggestions…. Not cool that I had to pay for their mistake….

Very sturdy but lightweight, provides nice firm surface for a mattress to lay on. Fits in my bed frame perfectly that I bought at Ashley, topped it off with Bonita Springs mattress from Ashley as well.\n\nWord of warning though, dont buy a high profile foundation and mattress and then put it on a raised bedframe, top of mattress was 30" off ground, way to high. Had to take cross supports out of bedframe, lay 2x4's across floor and put foundation on that, now at a perfect 24" height, lol

The low foundation that I purchase Has to be put together this is my first time ordering something like this and right now I am disabled I had spine surgery so it's still in a box up against the wall because I didn't know it needed to be put together .so I don't know if it's good or not. Don't know if I recommend this low foundation but the reason I purchased it is because of my spine surgery and it's hard for me to get in and out of bed but I'm going to take a picture of steel against my wall because I can't put it together, so I can't answer the question if I would recommend it or not

I am very happy with the two Twin XL Bed Foundations I purchased for my granddaughters' beds. I feel very confident they will provide excellent support and safety for the girls. I would like to stress that anyone assembling one of these foundations should be sure to follow the suggestion to wait to tighten the bolts until all of the slats are installed. It really makes the task easier! Quality product!

It's been really sturdy to hold us up. The frame itself is metal and there is a sheet that covers it nicely. It fairly easy to put up, I had some help from my partner which truly made a difference. Since we already have metal rails the frame does tent to slide out but nothing too serious that you can fix by re-sliding it back in. Over all I'm very happy with this purchase.

It was very easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to understand. All the tools and hardware were included. It only took about 5-10 minutes. You only had to screw 8 nuts onto 8 screws. The cover is like a fitted sheet. It feels very sturdy. I'll definitely buy this again when I need a new mattress for another bed. It came the day it was promised when I ordered it.

This is a very sturdy base. I enssembled it myself. It looks like it will last for many years. The instructions are easy to follow and with the cover it looks more expensive than what it really is. I gave it a 3 stars because the slots are not flat and the spacing between them is big and I think thats going to decrease the life of the mattress because it doesnt lay on a completely flat surface. This is important to me because I suffer from back pain. Now if you dont have back problems, this box would be perfect for you and the price is right

The construction of this product is really good, but I didn't imagine that it would be somewhat time consuming to assemble - still I am glad I bought it at such a reasonable price and would recommend. Comes in a long compact box so was easy to receive it by mail delivery.

Assembly was easy and it is made with superior quality metals. It is a little pricey and there should have more Velcro strip on the corners from keeping the cover from moving while placing the Box Spring in place. Other than those things a very good buy!

Furniture set is great, only complaint is that the movers could have cleaned up better. I tipped really well since I used do it myself a long time ago. Had some stuff in the room but that was no big deal, but some stuff had blown into neighbors yards and they complained to the HOA and I did apologize to them.

Super pleased with how this foundation turned out. I have always had beds that didn’t require a box spring, but when I bought my new bed, I had to find one and this has been perfect. Super easy to put together. Maybe 20 minutes total, doing it solo with a power drill. Highly recommend.

Excellent product!! Assembly wasn't too difficult and it really give support to the mattress. We bought a foam/hybrid mattress that ended up being a little too soft and since it is for a small child, we also wanted to give it more support, so this was the perfect addition.

My daughter loves it. She is smaller, so the low profile foundation doesn't set the mattress too high that she would have to struggle to get into bed. It was very easy to assemble, fairly light, and very sturdy. It will definitely outlast a traditional box spring.

Pretty easy to put together - watch out for those velcro tabs and put them in the right direction. Very sturdy and that's what I was looking for. Fit right into my bed. I feel much more confident having this as my foundation than my old wooden frame one!
