I bought these bulbs to replace some 50w halogens that had burned out in my kitchen lights specifically because they supposedly use about 1/8 of the electricity, they have a cooler / whiter color, and they are supposed to last 25,000 hrs. I'm not sure about their ACTUAL power consumption--I have no way to gauge that--but the color was great... I'd say "bright white"... not as yellow as soft white / halogens... not as cool as "daylight". \nHowever, they simply did not LAST. They burned out quicker than the much hotter halogens. At most I got maybe 500 to 1000 hrs of use out of them--nowhere near the 25,000 stated on the packaging / specs. I didn't keep the receipt so I don't know if SATCO is going to warranty them or not. Fileda claim through their site today. We'll see. So just keep your receipt and don't be surprised if they burn out a lot sooner than 25,000 hrs.

Came quickly but once put in my pole building quickly found 4 bulbs were very dim on half of my 30x40. Plan on needing 12 or more for 1200sq feet. So (1) per 100 sq foot
