I spoent a lot of time considering chairs on youtube. I am struggling through employment at the moment but was in need of a chair. My general rule is that you should never skimp on anything between your feet and your but. Chairs, beds, carpets, shoes, etc. So I chose very carefully. I'm happy to let you know, this chair is quite comfortable and was definitely worth it. It's unfortunately a bit cheaper and if you can afford more definitly try to get a Colomy Atlas chair over this. But when you're on a budget and you plan on getting a long-term chair anyway, this'll do. This'll do. \n\nCons however and the reason I struggle with it, the handles are not adjustable in either horizonal movement to get them out of the way, and the headrest is only on a stable swivel. I tried to install the arms and the headrest loose because the screw holes are long slidable holes so I thought that meant I could customize how far back or out they go. This is unfortunately not the case. As you tighten the screws to ensure they are secure, the rests also fall inn on the chair. \n\nPluses though FAR outweigh these cons. It's a good chair. comfortable, I can sit cross-legged on it, the armrests do their job regardless, and the head rest, despite being inflexible, is out of the way when you want it to be. The adjustible lock for the back also ACTUALLY works unlike mosty of the chairs I have used.

I bought this chair for my son on his 24th birthday. He's 6'1”, about 160 lbs, and wears a size 15 shoe. He's long and skinny and he's always been destructive to furniture. He's not purposefully violent with furniture or anything, he just has a talent for wearing a furniture and shoes ALL the way out. This chair is different. It's extra sturdy and somehow comfortable at the same time. When he told me this is the chair he wanted when he found it online, I was doubtful it would last 2 weeks. The mesh that it is made out of looked as though it didn't know what it was getting into. We were both surprise at how strong and supportive the material is. It has been over a month and the chair look like it just arrived at my home yesterday!

I haven't had the chair long enough to give an honest overall review because I consider longevity important as well but so far the chair is okay. I have all sorts of joint problems. I work from home and I'm in that chair at least 12 hrs a day , ( with breaks that is). I have one hip replaced and two knee replacements and my back is almost hopeless. so far this chair is serving me well. I did get rid of my administrative chair that I have only had for maybe three years. I past it on and replaced it with this chair. so far I have no regrets.

I was looking for a fairly inexpensive chair with good back support. Those 2 things are tough to find in a decent office chair. I needed something comfortable with good back support for long photo editing sessions. After spending a few weeks watching videos, the Dexley seemed perfect! I tried it in the store & it seemed very nice, even when comparing it to more expensive options.\n\n\n\nI have been using it for a few weeks now & so far I like it! This is a basic no-nonsense office chair that is comfortable and does the job. There are three adjustments: height tilt tension and upright tilt lock. That's it. You can't adjust seat tilt or position lumbar support back tilt locking position or arm heights. Some may find the seat feels to be tilted forward so try it out for fit before buying it. Otherwise the chair is very comfortable to sit in. The shaped fabric back provides basic broad lumbar support. The wheels glide easily on a smooth floor. If you don't want arms just leave them off. Assembly is straightforward and a breeze if you've put together similar chairs before. Pro tip: make use of the box as an assembly stand.

I replaced my old cushioned office chair with this one for the breathability of the fabric. Ergonomics are great and I just figured out the recline feature by pulling out on the height adjust handle. I'm 6' 220 lbs. an although the chair is wide enough, the high pointed plastic seat edge rails that hold the webbing in place can be painful if your thighs are on top of them. I thought about trimming them down and grinding softer edges to them, but opted to add a sheep skin seat cushion to raise above the design flaw. Everything else was good enough for me to keep the chair and not return to seek another.

I originally purchased the teal variant as a college student. It didn't give me any back pain I loved the color and it was perfect. As I got older I upgraded to a big-name $600+ 'gamer chair ' which gave me back issues wrist problems and other issues. I was such a fool to give away my original chair. Unfortunately so much time had passed that I couldn't find the maker of the chair until recently by chance. I'm so sad it's being discontinued but this is one of the best most inexpensive comfortable and durable office chairs. The first chair is more than 10 years old and it's still as soft and firm as ever. Too bad I don't know how to make things go viral because this office chair is too good. So very sad it is being discontinued.

The reduced price was excellent and the simple assembly required was easily accomplished. The short assembly manual was clear and easy to follow. I bought this for my domestic partner and she loves it especially as a replacement for the aging thing it replaced. Having a few color choices was nice and she loves the Teak version as it complements her office decor. She enjoys the increased freedom of movement and the breathable comfort of the mesh. While not as luxurious and impressive as her leather office chair at work it's a happy addition to her home office and it makes me look like a hero.

This is the second chair for me. I was completely satisfied with the the first one. When my grandson needed a chair for his studies I gave him my chair. I enjoy from my new chair. I decided to order it on line thinking it would be assembled. To my surprise my wife and I assembled it once I got over the surprise. I bought the first one in the Staples store fully assembled. I also see them in the store assembled so naturally I expected to receive it that way. We may have overlooked this detail but if it is not clearly stated that would be good to mention.

I have never been a fan of these mesh fabric chairs but I needed a chair on the cheap. This chair fits my immediate needs. Assembly was simple, chair is lightweight but sturdy. If there is a downside, it would be the seat. It could be a bit more comfortable. Then again, more comfort will translate into a more expensive chair. For this price, you will get a functional chair.

i bought this chair to replace the old one in my music practice space. I learn and practice songs on guitar while sitting at my computer desk and this chair is perfect for that. Although I did not install the arms because they would interfere with the guitars the seat is very comfortable and the back provides plenty of support. It rolls smoothly even on my carpeted floor and it is very quiet unlike my old chair that was creaky-squeaky every time I moved. For under a hundred bucks this is a solid value!!

Comes with 14 bolts and a wrench that fits them all. That's a good thing because assembly took ten minutes and self assembly probably knocked $100 off the price. The arms don't go up and down but they don't have to because they are exactly in the right place. Savings $40 The lumbar support isn't adjustable but it is exactly in the right place so who cares. Savings $40. It does go up and down and leans back which is all I really need. The cushioned area is thick enough to be comfortable and angled just right with good leg support. On sale for $80 it's a no brainer.

In my opinion, the chair is comfortable and supports your back. All the functions work as advertised. It was easy to put together and the instructions were clear. My only complaint is that the unpadded arms are a bit rough on my forearms (but I knew they were not padded when I bought it). To summarize, in my opinion, this chair is a good, inexpensive task chair that met most if not all my basic requirements.

PRO's: Easy to assemble; easy to follow directions. CON's: Headrest material is a little slack making it kind of uncomfortable but tolerable; minimum chair height is on the high side -- I'm 5'11" and the minimum height adjustment on this chair barely allows me to rest my entire foot on the ground (so if you're shorter than me be sure to test-drive the chair in the store). Overall: good value.

I saw and sat in this chair while in the store. I was blown away. I told my husband jokingly to come back in an hour. So we just bought it and I love it. He tightened the knob underneath so the chair back doesn't rock. It sits up straight. Just this past week I was able to remove the left arm because it was catching my desk. That was due to me getting up and out towards the right. For a small fee we got the extended warranty. I'd say “Go For It!”

We bought two and assembled them ourselves. We found we needed two people at the end to balance the unwieldy parts but as two older women it was relatively easy. They provide the allen wrench the only tool you need. We bought extra lumbar pillows to balance out the fit for ourselves. We got the chairs on sale from the website and are happy with them.

My husband's previous desk chair was getting worn (15 years old). He picked this one out when we were in Staples shopping for a new laptop for me. He didn't want to spend that much money along with the laptop. Last week I received an email and the chair was on sale Yay! The next day we purchased it. He is enjoying it. It's a good chair. Gives you support. Seat is kind of hard and the arms are hard plastic so not too comfortable if you sit for a long time. We did end up buy a more expensive chair with more back support and cushion on the arm rest. Keeping both. Too much trouble to return the first one so we put it in another room.

This is a great chair for this price point. I love that it swivels and reclines. Much more comfortable than what I had before. Good variety of colors as well. So far the seat is a little bit firmer than the ones I tried in the store but that was likely due to many people trying it out and I'm sure mine will soften up a little more over time. Would buy again.

This is a good desk chair if you get it for under $100 which we did on sale. Save yourself some money and choose to put it together yourself. It's a very easy do-it-yourself assembly and I'm not handy. The directions are clear and the screws come separately packaged in labeled envelopes so you can't make a mistake. It took me no more than 15 minutes.

I have this same chair at home that I bought when Covid started. I needed another chair at the office and went with the same model since I knew how it felt already. This time I bought it because of the lumbar support it gives me helps with my sciatica. Overall a comfortable and affordable chair. I would definitely buy again if needed.

Fine office chair for the home office, but it's seat is not the most comfortable for me. It seems to slant forward making it hard for me at 5" 2" to sit comfortably while tying to support my back. It's fine for the money and is not so big that it takes up a great deal of room since I share the office and we have two of them.

It's almost a great fit with the exception that the arm rests are too high at their lowest setting. Considering this chair is meant for larger people it seems like an oversight in the design that it cannot accommodate people with long arms. I've been using it without the arm rests and it's been good otherwise.

This chair is such an upgrade from my last one and so happy about to price! I love the back support it provides for my long days at a desk. Wasn't too difficult to put together (but as all instructions can cause a ‘wait what' moment) - took about 45 minutes. Really completes the at home office and makes the office grind a little more enjoyable!
