We bought this door and our contractor installed it. We noticed right away the gap between the frame and door. We have been trying to work with feather river without any help. Worst customer service ever. They refused to refund the door. Offered us 75% off another door. Only option appears to dispute our credit card through Home Depot. As beautiful as this door appears. It’s not what it claims. Save yourself a lot of grief. Buy something else.

I got 2 French doors, and almost immediately we noticed an issue with one side not being aligned with the other. As it got colder/ windy/ wet- both doors wiped . One pushed outward at top and other door kicked out on bottom. During a high windstorm, we literally watched snow blowing in the top of door into living room. Home Depot mgmt and their installer has been great. I’m not sure about feather river. They are sending a third party out today to inspect the installers work. It’s not the installer, it’s the quality of theses doors. I do not want another replacement only to have problems again. We’ve noticed when it’s colder and windy they get worse.

I love the door itself. It is gorgeous and added so much character to our home. It did not come with the little plugs to cover the screw holes though and I am very disappointed in that. For the cost of this door it most definitely should come with the plugs.

Where to begin, nothing is aligned on this door. The hinges are not in alignment, the trim is crooked and the door itself is warped. Stay away from this manufacturer. I brought up my concerns with Home Depot and they couldn't help.

The pre-cut holes for the door latch didn't line up and were a pain to get the lock to latch.

Installed and first rain leaked water horribly. First snow storm, we had a crazy amount of snow in the house. Find a different door from a different company.

Had to use the limited lifetime warranty after two years. Instead of wood trim around the center glass, it’s plastic. For our south facing door, the plastic warped, evidently from heat. If you can afford it, pay a little more for a higher quality door. To fix the lack of durability of our door, Feather River sent us another plastic trim. Warranty doesn’t include repair labor.

windows leak rain water, company doesn't care

8 years old. Doors should last longer than that. Door is shaded on porch for about 9 months/year, winter does get full sun on bottom half, live in a 4 season climate. It should be properly engineered for weather. Mine has 3 issues - failing adhesives, failing seals, and warped fiberglass. Warranty not honored by company - wants me to pay a "reduced rate" for new parts and no installation. Materials used are not suitable for the application, expensive junk.

Great door for the price! I thought it was just the right amount of traditional craftsman plus a unique layout for the windows bits high quality and much more reasonably priced than the one my contractor recommended.

Beautiful door and solidly built. Arrived very securely packaged and in perfect shape. Literally fit my old door opening like a glove. Not one shim needed.
