Went with the convection/gas option and very glad we did. Functionality is excellent. Takes some getting used to especially when using convection on reliable family recipes, but the cook is so much better and faster. The split oven is more than a gimmick, works nicely if you follow the proper guidance and instructions. Very versatile. \n\nFit and finish are very good as well, matches our other black stainless Samsung appliances flawlessly. Wish there was a wee bit more stainless on the front sides as you will notice the difference if protruding a little further out from your cabinets. \n\nWhen using the lower part of the oven separately that takes getting used to as it is lower than what you will be used to and the warming drawer at the very bottom is so low, I don't see ever using it for more than just storage. Definitely would recommend overall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have waited soooo long for this oven! It was definitely worth the wait. I love to bake and make large meals for lots of people. I love being able to have 2 separate temperatures for different items. I have never had a convection oven so I baked cookies in the top using convection and in the lower using conventional to see which I liked better. It takes some adjusting of temperature or time for the convection. I almost burned my corn casserole the 1st time with the inside still being unbaked. For cupcakes I find I prefer the conventional but for cookies the convection is great.I love being able to choose the proper size burner for my different pans. I love the griddle for making breakfast. The air fry feature is amazing for reheating leftovers and making fries and chicken tenders crispy. It is also great for making crispy wings. The preheat on the oven is so fast! I've never had an oven heat up that quickly. The musical chime that let's you know it is ready is nice but goes on way too long. It starts to get a bit annoying. The stove top is hard to keep looking nice.It does not clean easily and you can see every smear, fingerprint or piece of lint on it. I can not seem to get it to polish cleanly, very frustrating for my OCD brain. I think it would have been much better to have a marbled design like my old stove. Easier to clean and stay looking clean. The front feet on the bottom of the stove are very noticeable, I'm not a fan of that. The stove is connected to my phone, which I haven't decided if I like or not. We will see over time. Overall, I am in love with my new oven. It is very sleek and elegant looking. I love making meals for all my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some of this review compares current features to a previous generation of this range that we owned for nine years ...\n- Cooktop knob heat settings are grey surrounded by dark grey (on the black stainless version of the oven) and therefore lack contrast and are difficult to see/read/set.\n- After setting the timer, you have to touch a different button to start it. And to stop the timer or to stop the tone upon completion of the set time, you have to touch/HOLD the timer button for 3 seconds. Why the HOLD ?!?\n- The storage drawer is only 3 1/8" deep, which severely limits its use for storage. In a previous generation of this range, this was a warming drawer that was 6" deep. The "warming" function has been moved to the inside of the oven. Now I have to find alternate storage for 1/2 of my pan covers\n- For some reason, a 3" wide space was inserted between the cooktop and the oven top, pushing the entire oven down by the same amount. This means you need to bend over further to place items in the oven as well as to see what's in the oven through the glass panels.\n- The upper oven is larger vertically, which means it takes longer to pre-heat. I liked the previous smaller version that would pre-heat in a jiffy and met 90% of my baking needs. What Samsung should have done is allowed the separator to be inserted in two different slots rather than only one.\n- Overall, I'd say "Human Factors" were less of a consideration than they should have been.

The airfryer in the oven doesn't do as well as our other one. We love the multiple size options on the stove for cooking, and the warming station. The stove is very hard to stay clean. We have a cream cleaner and spray cleaner and we still have spots that don't come clean. Overall, I would recommend this stove...

The griddle slides around on the cooking surface very easily, making it somewhat difficult to use when you have to use a spatula to flip a pancake, etc. It would have been better and safer if the griddle would either lock into a groove on the cooktop or at least had som non slip foot pads on it. We were looking forward to using the griddle pan, which heated up nicely, but we wish there was a way to keep it in place better. Enter the Samsung Smart Freestanding Electric Range with Flex Duo™, No Preheat Air Fry & Griddle 6.3 cu. ft. Capacity in Stainless Steel... Let me tell you; it feels like we just stepped into the future. This oven and range was a very welcome addition to our home not only for its sleek stainless steel design but also for its features. First of all, being part of the Samsung Smartthings family means that I can control it with just my phone if I want to. I didn't know this was something I needed in my life until I had to run to the store and was able to turn my oven off in the car. Another feature I love is the built-in air frying. I was able to gift my big clunky air fryer to someone else since I didn't need it anymore, and with this oven, I can air fry way more food at once. And lastly, all the different heating options on the range make it way easier to cook specific dishes. From pancakes on the griddle to just boiling a kettle of water, I feel like there's a function for everything. My wife and I are really enjoying cooking together, and honestly, I give a big portion of the credit to our new oven and range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it about a month, still getting use to it. The cooking temperatures have been accurate. The tray separating the upper and lower oven, could be more adjustable upward as it hits the fan so can't close the door, you have to remove it to use the bigger space. It is hard to see inside the pans to see the food without opening the door on the oven.

There is only a timer for use when the oven is on - otherwise no timer and I have to use the timer on my phone. The large burner that has three options for sizes takes a very long time to bring anything to a boil. I like that there are two ovens that can operate independently and that you can easily switch to one large oven.

Works as it should but I already noticed the glass top doesn’t clean up as good as my old GE Stove. Controlling the oven using the smart things app is not exactly perfect. The two options for the oven is use the whole oven or use the lower oven. The is no option to use the upper oven only. And yes there is a need.

I like my range a lot but I am upset that you do not get a manual for using it and cooking with it. I looked on line and it's crazy trying to find it. When you pay this much money I think you should at least get a manual!

We had house fire, the home we are temporarily in has this stove/ oven. Wife loves it. Air fryer is very nice. Dual burner griddle feature nice as well.

I like the dual ovens which allow me to make more than one dish at a time when they require different baking temperatures. The no pre-heat air fryer replaced my countertop airfryer, cleaning up my countertops. I like the convection bake and have been dehydrating some fresh garden veggies to store for later. This range even pairs with the Samsung Slim Microwave and the microwave vent will even automatically turn on when your start the oven. The griddle was my biggest draw. I love to make breakfast. I was disappointed in this feature. The paint/coating on the griddle chipped off even with hand washing. The griddle is also slick on the bottom so it slides when being used. I like the rapid boil burner, it has come in very handy.

Love the double oven feature and extra burner potions. Preheats fast and cooks fast

Air Fryer works as expected, but with more capacity than my countertop model so I can cook more as efficiently.\n\nThe stove top is great, although the large burner puts off too much heat and requires moving pans to smaller burners for simmering or risking burning. Fortunately there are multiple burners of varying size to be able to move items around as needed. It is however really good for frying and keeping oil at the proper temperature.\n\nMy only realy complaint is that the clock does not set itself after a power outage unlike the microwave, despite the fact that it is hooked up to my wifi. Would be great if the clock would reset itself since it is connected to the wifi.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been waiting for this option to get this stove for a couple of years now.Lets just say patience is virtue as this is an impressive work of art.We are barely 2 weeks in to it but this stove is amazing.It heats the oven to temperature in half the time my other stove did.It boils water in half the time my other stove did.Half the time means that much more savings for not using electricity when its at is peak demand.We used the dual oven to the max this past Easter cooking tri-tip, scalloped potatoes, ham, and roasted vegetables, and a pie for desert with little worry.On top was glazed carrots, sauces, and gravy with plenty of room and options.It was fun again being in the kitchen knowing that your meal was going to turn out great.Could not be happier with this product.10/10!!!

FIRE HAZARD! KEEP YOUR FAMILY SAFE! DO NOT BUY THIS! From the first day we bought this we began contacting Samsung. I'll attach some pictures so you can see. But the biggest issue happened on the 4th of July. We use the griddle it came with and made some steaks. I went to the stove to move the griddle to the other side to finish cooling off. The moment I moved it the back burner shot a flame up so high that it burned the vent fan on my microwave. It was so scary. If you buy this keep a fire extinguisher nearby. Thank God we had one. Just so you know my husband has really bad COPD and he struggles. The smoke it caused made him so sick. He had to stay outside for 2 hours while we aired out the house. Besides that, the first few issues we experienced: Don't you dare spell anything on the cooktop. Even if you get to it right away with a hot sponge. If you cook don't ever be messy. I've never met a cook that's not a little bit messy. The first time we use it we spilled some sauce on it. Even the technician couldn't scrape up the gunk that the stove top just absorbed. The technician used steamer and a razor. Samsung said it was a cosmetic defect and it was my fault. Another ugly situation? So I bought this for its classy looks. Don't ever accidentally drip any liquids like cleaner or spray polish anywhere near the door handle of the oven. If you look at the picture that drip is never going away. There's no way to take those two pieces of glasses apart. Not even a large baby nipple cleaner brush does the job. We've tried everything. Those drips are stuck there. Very classy. I'm ashamed of my stove. Even the fire they will not help me. It's actually inhumane. Even though it's going to be more expensive in the long run to hire an attorney, I'm going to. Nothing will change my mind on that. If you respond Samsung I don't want to hear it. You have put my family in danger and you just don't care. I wanted to attach a video but they said YouTube only. We bought the predecessor to this model a few years ago. The top oven heats incredibly fast which is great, but does it offset these other issues? The cooktop scratches very easily; that's sort of ok. The control panel with the clock and timer has lights out so we never know what it depicts. Not ok. The handle is a great crumb catcher that cannot be cleaned. Not ok. The 'S' in Samsung decal/logo broke off. Not ok. But the worst thing .... the door latch for the oven broke. We've tried for over 6 months to get a new latch and it seems the factory is 'out' of them. Definitely NOT ok. So my next range will NOT be a Samsung no matter how much I love the Flex Duo ovens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great, modern stove. The black glass and stainless steel finish are contemporary and go well with our other stainless steel appliances. The cooktop heats very quickly as does the oven. The oven can be used as two separate ovens which is energy efficient when you just need to use a small oven. It has capability to air fry and includes a stove-top griddle. These accessories fit neatly in the drawer below the stove. The only drawback I can name is the front feet are black blocks about 2 inches in diameter and they protrude from beneath the stove just slightly. I would have preferred that they had been recessed just slightly so they would not be viewable from the front.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dual Oven is a space and energy savor. To heat only half takes barely 5 minutes so my pizzas are ready to go quickly. I usually let it stabalize for just a few more minutes to make sure to not burn the top of my items if using the top oven. It does take some getting used to because it cooks different on the top or bottom oven. Also this is a convection oven so even heat. Overall I like a new feature every time I use it. The timer is unique and requires you shut it off, but better than my old one which I never heard. The cooktop is clean, provides multiple options for different burner sizes. Overall A+ on this unit. Planning a kitchen remodel around this unit now. :)

My thoughts are that this stove is beautiful. I had a Frigidaire before this and while a nice stove didn't have the ability to distribute the heat when cooking like this stove does. I also use very good cooking pans too. I cooked eggs and pancakes and soup on the range top for my first few meals. Eggs, bacon, pancakes...all even heat distribution so my food didn't taste burnt but fresh and you could really tell a flavor difference between my last stove and this one.\nI showed the picture of the stove to my coworkers after it was delivered and all of them said just how stunning it was to look at and my mom immediately asked about the steam clean function lol.\n(If you must know I use Emeril legasse cookware.)

I am so happy about the air fryer because now I can get rid of my portable air fryer, which takes up too much space. The built in air fryer also works very well. Cooking on this range is amazing and I could swear it even makes food taste better than before! The bottom right section of the stove has a three ring heating system, so you can boil water within a very short about of time! Also, the griddle is so great and can be used to grill all sorts of food. This is the best stove I have ever owned and I am looking forward to making all sorts of food with it!
