I love my crock pot! I've owned mine for over two years now; it still looks brand new and it still has much more life. I got this one because I liked the digital display, the option to put a timer on, and the heat ranges from warm, low, and high. Crock pots are a must if you're meal-prepping and/or trying to eat at home on a budget. The only thing I think is worth critiquing is the heat of the warm setting - I think it's too hot. When the timer runs out and the heat changes to "warm", I noticed the food continues to cook so there were few instances where my food ended up over-cooking. Consequently, I still have to turn the crock pot off entirely once the food is done, which seems to be counterintuitive to the timer and warm option. Other than that, wonderful product!

I really like this crock pot cooker. I prefer a larger size crock pot so that I can fit a meal large enough for my whole family inside and this crop is able to do that. I had a Crock-Pot that did not have the timer and I have to say the timer on this is one of the best features. I love that I can set the crock pot and forget it knowing that it will automatically switch over to the warming feature as soon as the cooking time has run out. I would highly recommend this particular model Crock-Pot to anyone who is looking to purchase a new one. I also love how easily the crock cleaned up. Good crock pot and easy to use. Although it did burn the food a little I’m still giving it great reviews because it could have been operator error :-) . This is an updated model from my last which was about 15 years ago. Sturdy, looks very nice and is large. The lid is not snug to fit but I believe that is so steam can come out. Happy with the purchase.

The two things (flaws) I have seen already is 1) there is no start button. When you program the time, it starts counting down as soon as you enter the time and 2) there is no beep alerting you to when your meal has finished. It's very convenient and so much better than the smaller ones, especially if you like to slow cook an abundance of a meal.

I use this crockpot slow cooker regularly for a lot of my cooking needs! The features are great and allows me to cook at the time that I want. The controls are convenient and easy to use, allowing me to vary the temperature and time of my recipes. I’ve used this about five times since receiving it. The timer is great and switches to warm. It does get very hot to the touch so If you have small children make sure they can’t get to it. Cooks faster then most crockpots so you definitely don’t have to cook things as long.

This is the first crockpot I purchased. First thing I loved about this, is it’s capacity. I could’ve gone for a smaller size but I figured an 8 qt crockpot would come in handy for parties/large dinners. The controls/buttons are easy to use and straightforward. I’ve used it for pulled Tri-Tip recently and was extremely happy with the results. I was short on time and cooked the meat on high for a shorter time period, and it still tasted as if I had been cooking it all day. I do sear both sides on a skillet before placing it in the crockpot with beef broth.

Bought this as a gift for my wife (she specifically requested it!). This takes the traditional\r\nCrockpot into today’s real world and routines. Using time and/or temp to cook then automatically setting itself to warm has been a needed feature for years. Coupled with 8 quart capacity and it’s the perfect kitchen cooking appliance. It kept us from upgrading our oven instead !! When you need to cook a whole bird, a ham and multiple side dishes a single oven won’t cut it. No longer a problem with the programmable 8 qt models. I bought this crockpot and it seemed to cook fine. When it came to cleaning the ceramic crock, the food stuck and was very difficult to get off! I suggest using cooking spray in the crock. I ended up returning and buying an upgraded model by the same brand that performs other functions (pressure cooker, etc). No problems with that.

Lost my old (circa 1970somthing, hand me down) crockpot. I loved it, used it every week and I was so sad. It took me a while to figure out which model I was going to get, but I'm so happy I picked this one. Though it's very different from the original it is just as amazing! Day 1 I cooked 8Lb pork to make pulled pork. The timing was amazing. The crockpot arrived a day early, and the guys were so happy to have pulled pork for football. Ship time was amazing, and I just love the ease of use. Quality that spans generations.

I needed to replace my old crockpot which still works but is, old. This model is larger and holds much more than my old one. It did well cooking corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day and turkey soup (with a whole turkey carcass). \r\nI used all temp settings and as others have mentioned, it still gets pretty hot on "warm" so you have to keep an eye on it. Other than that, I love it! It also looks great in my new kitchen.

I LOVE this slow cooker. I worn out my old one (also a Crock Pot) and needed another one. I really wasn't a loyal buyer of the brand but this was on sale at a GREAT PRICE and knowing how long I used the first one, it turned out to be a no-brainer. It is easy to program and clean. Bought this crock pot to replace an older 7 Qt crock pot I had. This crock pot works great and the extra capacity really comes in handy. I used 1x (first and last time) because I noticed that it 1. Heated extremely fast upon turning on; 2. High was "way too hot"; and 3. Low setting is too hot also. I read many reviews who state same problem and many after several uses, the ceramic pot cracked. I knew from the 1st time use I could NEVER leave the house and leave this on (as a crockpot should allow). Since I read other reviews that found this product "defective" I am returning today. I also had a Crockpot for 3 decades. That works fine (as it should) but I thought I'd get a larger one. Good I did not throw out. But I will buy a different brand (Hamilton Beach or Cuisinart) and try. A slow cooker "this is not". I agree - do NOT buy unless you plan to babysit it.
