I originally had a Series X when it first launched, but my kids broke it before I ever really got to enjoy it. I received this newer legacy version for Christmas, and I absolutely love it. It loads faster than my PlayStation, my Series S, and even my custom gaming PC. The native 4K is a huge improvement over devices that rely on software upscaling—everything is vivid, sharp, and incredibly clear.\n\nWhat surprised me most is how rich the accessibility features are. The mic monitoring works perfectly with compatible headsets designed for hearing‑impaired players, letting me hear my own voice so I’m not shouting over background noise. The adjustable color‑blind filters are a game‑changer—they correct the display to compensate for color‑vision loss, restoring full detail and immersion in every game I play.\n\nBeing able to enjoy fully immersive MMORPGs without straining to see details or worrying about my voice volume has been amazing. This console has exceeded every expectation I had.

It's been a great console. I've been using it for about 3 years now. It plays pretty much all Xbox, Xbox 360, and xbox one games. I do miss the days of halo and Forza exclusives… The quick resume is great. You can quick resume multiple games. And I noticed that it even remembers where you left off even if the console is unplugged. The remote situation is okay. The remote is cheap junk compared to Nintendo or ps5. The buttons are loud and clunky. And the battery life thing needs to be solved. You'll spend almost 100 in batteries a year if you're a casual gamer. Very stupid greedy scheme they got going on. And game pass is a rip off too. DONT SETTLE FOR RENTING EVERYTHING IN LIFE. We deserve a piece of the pie. If I buy a copy of a game, I own it and want a pie of the property to do as I please. Microsoft needs to be less greedy in that way. I don't pay for game pass scam anyway, never did.

This system, seconds upon booting up my favorite game PSO2NGS (which is heavy on consoles and computers load-wise) showcases its superiority. Gaming is an instant leap in performance. It's like watching water flowing with your naked eye how perfectly the graphics dance across the screen. Load times are non existent, this console is SILENT. The updated controller with textured grips on siding and triggers is a pro touch. The new sharp click-style d-pad is awesome. The set up is extremely easy and walks you through in the most basic of ways. Even the sound quality is leaps and you will notice immediately! I couldn't be more happier and willing to say take advantage of the deal for $370 (after tax) while you still can. But even if you don't get the deal this system is worth every penny regardless. And yes the 4K player is legit and works perfect.

But to be safe, I thought I'd add a review and at the same time document it online. \n\nFedEx just delivered this 20 minutes ago and when I opened it up, I did find Minor damage to the corner of the packaging right out of the shipping box. I'd add the Corners of the box are fairly solid, so it's not easy to say how hard it had to be hit right at that edge to bend them in. But If the inside is packed secure the console should be perfectly fine. \n\nThere wasn't any visible damage to the exterior of the box it shipped in when it was delivered, so it wasn't FedEx throwing it around the truck. It was also packed very snug by Walmart with three sides sitting right to the shipping box and the “air bags” to fill the fourth side, so there was very little room for it to move about or the damage to happen during shipping. That makes me believe it happened prior to being shipped to me. \n\nAgain most likely it is only cosmetic to the box and not a sign of it having been violently dropped at the warehouse that would cause more serious damage to the console, but I guess to be safe, I might just have to give it test run before I wrap it for Christmas.

As far as is it worth the money, everyone's first question, it really depends on what you plan to do with it.\nI mostly play old games, some from original Xbox some from 360, it plays well although very limited backwards compatability in some cases so check lists online before buying it for that.\nPerformance wise it's faster than expected, smooth graphics, seems to use less battery power than the older controllers.\nA word on the controller, it's slightly smaller and heavier than a 360 controller. I can use it but I don't really like it much. \nThe fact that you can easily use the machine without any subscriptions is a major plus in my book.\nAll in all if you will use it as much will fresh titles as with old one this machine will make you happy if slightly poorer.

I'm so glad I was able to get this for my ten year old son's Christmas. He has been wanting an xbox for years. I bought it before thanksgiving and prayed it would be in stock. This is the latest one, and it just looks great in the tv stand we also bought at best buy. For $14.99/mo you get an all access gaming pass, which is an excellent deal, not to mention this one also plays the physical games. I don't have any complaints at all on this unit. At around $499, it seems hefty especially if you consider you could have bought the "holiday" version for around $249, to me, it's no comparison. You just get a better gaming system with this. We also like the carbon black vs. white color.

Fable anniversary for the original xbox looks amazing running on the series x at a high frame rate it looks like PC quality. For xbox gamers getting a xbox series x may just be for you. There are many games to enjoy %26 the exclusives are up to you to decide if it's worth it. I am very much into Gears of War %26 Fable, my favorite xbox exclusives since the beginning.

Ive had my series X for just over a year since November of 2021. The change in graphics and performance is a huge leap from the previos generation. I previously had a standard Xbox One AND the Xbox One X. They do jot compare at all to this. The new co troller is also better. It is the perfect middle ground from a standard xbox one controller and the elite series. I highly recommend, and Best Buy always has great bundles and sales on these as well so definitely do your own research but its a 10/10, no issues at all. I also got the attachable battery charger, and it is definitely a must have. If you still buy batteries, stop now.

Everything was as pictured. Price was fantastic. There was one game he couldn't play due to age restriction when he set up online account (which was mandatory). And the directions for the headphones weren't in English. But they're headphones. The game summary on the back of 1 or 2 games wasn't in English either and we were a little concerned. But everything ended up working fine and the games were playable in English. I would definitely recommend this bundle for the price.

I bought this for my husband who is an avid gamer who has been playing Xbox since the original console was released. He's been playing on the same Xbox One since about 2018. He'd been wanting a Series X, but the price was a little too high. I caught it on sale for $75 off and jumped on it. The graphics are amazing, it loads insanely fast, and there are games he will now be able to play that he wasn't able to play on his Xbox One. It was totally worth it for those reasons. Especially regarding how much excited he was when he got home from work and was surprised by a new Xbox sitting on the desk in his game room!

This console is great and the graphics are impressive I like the way the console looks and in my opinion it has the best value overall in gaming, what I don't like is the fact that you need an Internet connection in order to set up the console and eventually the constant updates the Xbox series x console will require, and there are some games that require an Internet connection just to install them and some of them are playable offline, either way having an Internet connection for these Xbox consoles is a must especially if you purchased or are thinking of purchasing a digital series X or a series S version

Nice console but it's really only good to play old games on at higher frames per second, with faster load times. Graphically there is very little difference between it and the One X. Which I've had for a long time and it's a great console. Only a handful of games are even new, and current gen only on it. Maybe about 20 or less, and most aren't very good. That doesn't warrant a ($500) purchase imo. It does run quiet and cool, but it's just not a substantial upgrade from the One X imo. Also I have a PS5 because of it's exclusives (which Xbox doesn't have) and the future doesn't look very promising either. That's all I need, so I took this back. Just no need for it until there are at least 40 to 50 GOOD new games to play on it. Also I don't like the new controller at all, and the PS5 controller is different, but not the best either. I think this is the worst console generation thus far. But that's just me. Still it's good if all you want is a slight upgrade.

Works perfectly, 10/10, I've had LITERALLY no problems so far and getting all the Xbox X edition graphics and settings in these new triple A games is AMAZING!! (especially considering we upgraded from our AT LEAST 7 year old xbox one that was running on it's last legs) but definitely worth the money, especially if you have a bunch of games on disc still and want to play them, now that doesn't mean every game is optimized for the xbox, so don't blame the xbox, blame the game if it starts getting buggy in game!! overall preeetty good christmas gift.

Great little system but for the price tag a rechargable battery for the controler would be reasonable only other problem I have had is on some online games with higher demand have an occasional delay in the graphics but not enought to say its a problem with the system everything else so far has met or exceded expectations

The system is designed so much better and it stands up so it doesn’t take up space as much! The graphics are great and I really can tell the difference between this one and the Xbox one s. The old one just went black screen on us so we had to replace it and we are very happy with the new one. Wish they would’ve been more affordable but, I guess that’s just today’s price so we paid it and we enjoy the games we play on it. Definitely recommend getting it if you can!

Xbox series x, has been well with the money and become even an investment, that my whole family loves and enjoys, it has given my children something to look forward to, and helped pull them out of extreme depression, having opened doors for them to vent. No Regrets here, the company shipped my Xbox fast, and wrapped it very well, to protect it from damages or being tossed about. Would give them a 5 of 5 as well. Would purchase again.

I've owned both ps5 and series x even tried the series s. This is in my opinion the best out of the three. For the price I paid and the games I play can't say the same for everyone. This has given me the best experience no real issues with heat or sound and plays like a champ. I would recommend this console for sure and game pass is a win as well. But at the end of the day my games choices are not yours so what I like you might not.

got it for Christmas after rocking a seeies s for about 4 years, and holy crap there is a HUGE difference. the storage was the first thing i noticed. almost a terabyte of storage is a HUGE upgrade of the sad series s 364 gigs. games already run better, faster etc. on top of that, the dedicated disc slot is amazing for when i want to play an old 360 game I or to watch a film that's not on streaming. Im very happy with this product.

Great console so far, the performance increase from my One S is very noticable. GTA6 is coming out and exclusive for next gen I had to make the move to the latest gen console. You can still pick a Series X up for a little over release price. PS5 Pro is now $900, insane, in my mind this was the best combination of price and performance. Even the Series S is more than capable, people rag on it like it's so inferior it's not

Really great product based on my boyfriend's opinion. He wanted the fastest XBox available to keep up with the competitive games that he enjoys and he asked for this model specifically because of that reason. I think it looks a bit odd and chunky compared to its previous iterations but that's just my opinion on not caring for the less sleek streamlined modern look. Lol!! All in all I think he's pleased with the purchase.

Had a ps4 and Nintendo switch was fine with those consoles forever decided that my little family needed the Xbox x the graphics are so nice and the Xbox store has way better deals than the PlayStation store love having both systems but this one is better.
