This is the second Victron smartsolar I have purchased. Easy to setup. The app on Android works perfectly (Pixel 7 Pro). There is also Windows and Linux support for the software (I'm a linux guy). Get the units with Bluetooth. Once you have one you'll want to keep checking howmuch power you are pulling from the sun. I have the 150/25 with BT for my home solar and the 75/15 with BT for my ute setup. My home setup is a remote off grid property and the batteries are always charged. My ute setup is a battery, solar panel, small inverter and a mini bar fridge. Drinks and milk always cold. Stop buying these $20 cheap units. These Victron units are the only units you need. - Excellent product quality in a compact and efficient unit, does everything as stated by Victron.\n\n- Since upgrading from a well known Taiwan made MPPT controller I have seen an immediate battery performance improvement. \n\n- As you can see all data for battery charging and solar power input patterns daily/weekly/monthly via Victron connect App it certainly helps you to understand exactly how healthy your system is at a glance as long as you are in Bluetooth range.\n\n- I am so satisfied I just purchased another to replace a popular China made MPPT controller on a separate system.\n\n- Although it is my first Victron product I am confident it will be a solidly dependable unit in the long term nevertheless time will be tell.\n\n- Besides the pricing which has been more competitive recently and the pc cable is too expensive for what it is, one negative I do have so far is the BRIGHT blue LED is far TOO bright at night time FAR too bright!, secondly if living in a hot climate you will need to set up a cooling fan on a thermal switch if mounting in a vehicle etc as it will shut off load output above 40 deg C. So far I've had no trouble but it is not the middle of summer yet.\n

The solar charger looks to be very well made and I am now running it with my lead acid AGM battery and seems to be working fine the only thing is I don't like having to have location switched on my mobile just to connect to Bluetooth which seems a bit unnecessary. Highest yield compare to others. It even beats Renogy. I kept on getting higher yield than anything that I ever used, such as Renogy, Epever etc.. Bluetooth connects flawlessly and quick. Very good product.. Can easily track solar panel performance via bluetooth.. Don't have to get another dongle for this since bluetooth is inbuilt. It is not true that u have to stand next to it to get the bluetooth signal. All you need to do is on your location and it will detect your phone. Very happy buy. Very good product.. The VE Smart MPPT 100/15 is a nice product for simple solar set ups. This unit has a load connection as well as a user accessible fuse. I use the smaller units to charge my lead acid batteries in the garage rather than having to go out into the COLD Michigan winter to apply a charger to maintain the batteries I own. Additionally, I set up the load to act as a street light so that my driveway is lit with 12v LED lights as well as entry into the garage without having to do a thing.....a true set and forget plus protect the batteries too! I buy these used for greater savings.

So far this MPPT Solar Charge Controller is working great charging up some 12v 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries. Great deal and it looks brand new! Great controller. It has built in Bluetooth tooth compared to previous versions. Make sure you get SmartSolar. Easy to configure via App. All status are there for you to monitor. Very happy with this controller keeps all the information needed to know how your batteries are going . Thr range for the Bluetooth isnt great i need to be within a couple of meters of my car to use it . Not that thats a real problem . I have a Victron SmartSolar MPPT controller in my RV. I now have 2 on my boat and an older one on my car when it’s in storage. The sun provides the charging power & these controllers manage my battery charging. Been doing this for years & never a failure. I buy these 75/10 smart mppt controllers used to set them up as garage lighting controllers and to keep single lead acid / agm batteries charged without having to dig out a tricke charger. Just started building systems. This one was purchased too small. Only planned for 4 panels. Ended up needing 2 more and made it too small. But it was strong for my 24V battery. Don't waste unbranded MPPT solar chargers with LCD screen. Many of them are not 'real' MPPT, just PWM.
