We live in an old house so they are sitting on a wood subfloor so we have to rebalance the legs occasionally, but other than that it's low maintenance and cleans far better than a top load. My only complaint about it is the same as most front load washers, you have to leave the front door open or it gets a mildewy smell. We don't leave it fully open but at least cracked. I can easily load a full size comforter and probably the sheets and it still cleans exceptionally well.
