[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Anolon X cookware set is perfect. The sear technology works like a charm. The stainless mesh keeps the oil or butter under the food, so everything cooks evenly. A set of cookware that is designed to perfection. The handles are easy to hold. The non-stick coating works well, no food sticks to the pots and pans. I found you use less oil and butter with this set. A night weight to the set and lids. A perfect sear every time. My meals cook perfect every time and taste good. Eggs come out fluffy. The grid tech lives up to the hype. The pots/pans and lids are dishwasher safe. The handles stay cool to the touch. The set retains and heats evenly. I like that it is metal utensil friendly, since my children never pay attention to that. The pots/pans do take some time getting use to cooking with them. A great set for everyday use. Cooking with the set, it seals in your flavor. So far cooking is so much easier with the Anolon X set. Clean-up is a breeze. I received the product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

I originally bought the saucier, having never used one before. Greatest thing since sliced bread. And it was on an incredible special as well so I was chuffed. Then this Saute and saucier came up as a twofer special so I jumped at it. The saucier is lighter than I imagined yet the Saute is slightly heavier. I have arthritis and have had surgeries on both hands but am able to handle these two easily enough. I tried cast iron cookware and just can’t handle it safely as it’s too heavy. I do appreciate I got very lucky to buy three absolutely brilliant pieces of cookware at an unbelievable price. I’m having a blast cooking up a storm, the husband thinks it’s great as well and I finally got the courage to try making risotto and the saucier is what makes it absolutely perfect. These pieces are fantastic. Highly recommend them.

I'm really pleased with my purchase of the 8.5" Hybrid Nonstick Frying Pan; it's fantastic! Its performance in searing meats is outstanding, outperforming all my cast iron pans. Impressed by its quality, we purchased two additional ones for family. \n\nLater, I bought an 8.5" version for my son who's into sous-vide cooking, but found it a bit small for our needs. So, I kept the smaller pan and got him another 12" one. The 8.5" pan is ideal for cooking a large single cut of meat or a couple of smaller pieces, whereas the 12" is spacious enough for entire roasts. We've successfully used both sizes for searing various meats, including steaks, roasts, pork tenderloins, fish, and chicken parts.

I have used analon skillets next to my set of copper cookware for decades. Every few years I replace my analon skillets just because they get so much use. My copper cookware just get polished and they’re ready to go after all these years. Why the X surface? I cook everyday, I do not cook meat. The analon skillet is great as always. It’s a shame I could only get them with this fake X surface glued on the bottom. Please consider releasing a line without it.

I bought the 10" and the 8" combo frying pans a few weeks ago, it sears a ribeye steak nicely as well my burgers came out with crispy edges and deliciously juicy inside. But the reason I purchased the pans was to fry eggs in the morning for my 3 kids and myself. The downside is that the eggs got stuck on the bottom of the pan while fry them. You can't make over easy and if it's sunny side up eggs you will need to crisp the bottom in order to remove them. I don't mind crispy on the bottom of my eggs but if you need to flip the eggs over for over medium eggs then you will need to crisp them again to remove the egg without breaking apart. Very disappointed for the price. I'm looking to purchase a nonstick pan elsewhere just for eggs.

Your pan is perfect for searing, I did a steak. But, my bad, I was trying to replace a Meyer 9.5 in standard non-stick frying pan I damaged (also my bad). I'm working with this one, fish is a tough go and I think a fried egg will be really hard but I'll continue with pre-heating and a little extra oil to get it as non-stick as I can. Great for what is advertised.More

After a couple weeks I am generally happy with, as I expected to be with my Avolon purchase, with only a minor complaint. Maybe in time I will adjust, but at the moment I am not thrilled with egg cooking, whether fried or scrambled. It seems like the design does not lend itself to that type of cooking. Just might buy a “flat” design egg pan…

As a chef, I've had many top notch pans over the years. From All-Clad, Calphalon, other Analon and more. This by far the best pan I've used. I do not like stainless as it is hard to clean \n\n\n\nand, well, stains. This pan is amazing! The sear is very close to cast iron without the weight or hard cleanup. The handle is just right and I love not have the bolts for the handle in the pan, hard to clean. While you do have to wash it, as there is a tiny bit of sticking, it is nearly completely non-stick and the sear is wonderful.

The pots and pans brand are my favorite. I still have original pots and pans that were bought 30 years ago. Still using, but needed to replace some pieces. I like them, but they are a lot lighter weight. I need some more time cooking with them, but I’m sure I will be very happy with them.

I have used them several times now for making chicken soup, frying eggs, cooking a full 4 course meal and a few other things. The frying pans are perfect for anything from one person to an entire clans' worth of cooking. Non stick makes for super easy clean up. I would absolutely recommend these pots to others.

The pan heated evenly and quickly and allowed me to prepare food at lower temperatures than other cookware. The pan was very easy to clean and I was able to wipe out the pan with a paper towel to remove grease. I would definitely recommend AnolonX cookware to anyone looking for great quality at an affordable price!

After watching all the people on FB and Instagram, I decided to take the plunge. And OMG, I do not cook much, but at least once a week, I cook fresh skinless salmon and two or three times a week, I cook eggs. I could not believe, the salmon, first the color and the evenness. AND the taste. Amazing difference, and the eggs cooked perfectly and tasted great. I threw away the old 8 and 10 inch pans I had had for 10 years. \n\nGreat Product!!

I didn’t give 5 stars because 1. The lid handle gets wicked hot 2. The pan is heavy enough that even this size could use a helper handle. I wish this line had a chicken fryer type sauté pan. Large and deep with helper handle.

Absolutely a must in the kitchen for me know. You can shallow fry, deep fry and stir fry with it without oil splash on the cook plates since the pan has decent depth; apart from that the flat wide bottom has made cooking evenly heated, particularly when stir fries. I replaced this with the traditional wok which looks a bit out of date for my kitchen. Thanks Anolon for such an up to date product.

This frypan and matching lid are great quality with the lid fitting perfectly snug. The base of the pan is between 10" and 12", but the top width of the pan is 12". The instructions caution that the lid and pan have different maximum temperatures if put in the oven. My first item cooked was a quesadilla which was perfectly browned without any oil. I'm very happy with the heavy quality.
