Best cheap alternative to Aeron chair

If you're looking for a budget friendly, ergonomic mesh chair that has a tilt adjust that can lock at any position, this is the chair. This is not a Aeron chair, but in my opinion the best cheap alternative. The reason I liked this better than similar ones is because this is the only one that allows me to set the tilt adjust anywhere I want. Other chairs have like 3 settings it slides into, which defeats the purpose. It took me 12 minutes to screw it together. Its inexpensive, but not cheaply made. Its perfect for 8 hours of computer work, and I didn't spend a lot. Buy it from Walmart to save a few bucks, and make sure to use the extra money saved for the 3 year warranty that Walmart offers in case it ends up falling apart, still only $200 for a really comfortable chair.

The reason for ANY chair is comfort and support and this model has a reasonable amount of options for most sizes of people. My primary reason for buying THIS chair is the mesh base/seat as well as back. My workspace can get pretty "warm" at times so I wanted a chair as cool and breathable as possible for those times. So far it's working out well. I haven't done a direct "side by side comparison" to confirm how much cooler the fully mesh chair is vs. my older chair with similar features but a padded seat base (mesh back) but I am happy with this new chair so far.

Bought this chair to replace an older version of the same chair. They have made a few changes that I don't love (the seat isn't as long front to back and the back doesn't seem to hit at the same spot above the seat) but overall I like it. I imagine the shorter seat is partially to fix the problem I had with the old chair where the plastic along the bottom snapped probably from my sitting on the edge of the seat sometimes.

I found this in the store and absolutely loved the full, even support across my entire back. However, I am fairly tall, and even on the lowest setting, the chair is still a bit high. Would only recommend for people who don't want to set their chair low, or who would be willing to swap the gas cylinder with a shorter one (which is what I did).

Back in 2020 talked my boyfriend into buying a beautiful nailhead office chair for his home office. God bless his soul he's had an pain in his you-you-where all this time. It was pretty to look at but pretty uncomfortable after sitting for extended periods. We headed to Staples to rectify this problem. We found this chair on an amazing sale. It's attractive AND comfortable. Win/win!

This chair is comfortable working all day. It has more ways to adjust than just height. My desk is too high but i can still sit with my feet on the floor because the arms adjust so that my arms/wrists are the right position for computer work. Rolls well too. I had it put together at the store.

I have been through at least a dozen chairs. High back ergonomic fancy leather. This by far has been the most comfortable i can sit for hours and does not hurt my back. After 1 month the chair is still the same as the day i bought it. Go buy this chair!!

I love my new office chair. It is comfortable has back support the perfect height adjustments and it looks nice in my office space. I love the mesh at my back which allows air to flow through. I am just hoping it will hold up until I retire in 2 years.

Easy to assemble. No way to move the chair back further away from the seat so if you have long lower legs it's not entirely comfortable. It is almost entirely plastic and clearly not a heavy duty chair. It is also narrow. This is not a chair for a larger person - either tall or wide. That said only time will tell whether it will hold up even to a person who fits in it. It's comfortable enough so for the price better than most.

Relatively easy to put together. Nice assembly kit - even the screws are color coded. Just take your time and follow the instructions. And the chair has a lot of adjustments, so it is comfortable for a wide range of body types.

The chairs are perfect for our conference room table. They have adjustable arms which allows them to slide in under the table. The mesh seats do not collect dirt, nor do they split like vinyl. Very comfortable.

At its shortest setting, this chair still sits about 2 inches higher off the ground than other chairs I've used. I should have looked into this before buying, I had assumed all office chairs fell into roughly the same height range. The lack of a shorter height means this chair doesn't work well with my table and desk.
